Abstract
연삭숫돌에 사용하기 위한 것으로 두꺼운 다층금속 피막을 갖는 피복된 입방정질화붕소 연삭입자의 제조방법이 제공되어 연삭공구내에서의 입자보유력을 향상시킨다. 이 금속피막은 연삭입자의 표면에 화학적으로 결합되는 1차 금속층과 이 피막의 대부분을 형성하는 2차 층을 포함한다. 아울러, 피복된 CBN 연삭입자, 그것으로부터 제조된 연삭공구 및 그것들의 제조방법도 제공된다.

Claims (10)
- 연삭공구에 사용하기 위한 피복된 입방정질화붕소(CBN)연삭입자를 준비하기 위한 방법에 있어서, CBN 연삭입자에 적어도 일층의 1차 금속층과 적어도 일층의 2차 금속층으로 이루어진 금속피막을 가하는 것을 포함하고, 상기 금속피막의 양은 상기 CBN 연삭입자의 피복된 원중량의 60-95중량%인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 1차 금속층은 그것을 상기 CBN 연삭입자의 표면에 화학적으로 결합시킬 수 있는 기법에 의해 가해지는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 1차 금속층은 티탄, 지르코늄, 하프늄, 바나듐, 니오브, 탄탈, 크롬, 몰리브덴 또는 그것들의 합금이나 그것들의 탄화물, 붕화물, 질화물 또는 산화물을 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 2차 금속층은 티탄, 지르코늄, 하프늄, 바나듐, 니오브, 탄탈, 크롬, 몰리브덴 또는 그것들의 합금이나 그것들의 탄화물, 붕화물, 질화물 또는 산화물중에서 선택되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 1차 금속층은 염조용착법에 의하여 티탄이 가해진 것이고, 상기 2차 금속층은 전착법에 의하여 니켈/인이 가해진 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 가해진 상기 금속피마기의 양은 원래의 CBN 연삭입자의 약 65-80중량%를 차지하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피복된 연산입자를 페놀수지와 혼합하는 단계와, 상기 혼합물을 소정의 형상으로 성형하는 단계와, 상기 페놀수지를 그내에서 경화시킴으로써 연삭공구를 얻는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 연삭숫돌에 이용하기에 적합한 피복 연삭입자에 있어서, 표면에는 화학적으로 결합되는 적어도 일층의 1차 금속층이 피복되고 그 위에는 적어도 일층의 2차 금속층이 피복되는 입방정 질화붕소(CBN) 연삭재를 포함하고, 이 금속피막의 총 중량은 상기 CBN 연삭입자의 피복전 중량의 65∼80중량%를 차지하는 피복 연삭입자.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 CBN 연삭입자의 평균 입자크기는 1 내지 1000μm이고, 상기 1차 금속층에는 염조용착법에 의해 티탄이 가해지고, 상기 2차 금속층에는 무전착법에 의해 니켈/인층이 가해지는 피복 연삭입자.
- 수지 매트릭스에 의해 결합되는 입방정질화붕소(CBN) 연삭입자를 포함하는 연삭공구에 있어서, 상기 CBN 연삭입자는 그것의 표면에는 화학적으로 결합되는 적어도 일층의 1차 금속층이 피복되고 그 위에는 적어도 일층의 2차 금속층이 피복되며, 이 피막의 총 중량은 상기 CBN 연삭입자의 피복전 중량의 65-80중량%를 차지하는 연삭공구.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
