Abstract

Corps de matière abrasive liée par un métal, comportant des particules abrasives maintenues dans une matrice metallique de liaison. La matrice métallique de liaison est constituée par du cobalt, à raison d'au moins 50 % du poids de la matrice, et par du bore, sous forme de borures de cobalt, réparti essentiellement uniformément dans toute la matrice. Pour la fabrication, la poudre de cobalt ou d'alliage de cobalt est mélangée avec une poudre borurante et est frittée à une température de 800 à 1 000 degrés C. Application : outils de matière abrasive liée par un métal.
