a. Matières composites frittées diamant-métal à liaison métallurgique. b. L'invention décrit une matière frittée composite à base de nickel et/ou de cuivre comprenant un composé intermétallique dispersé dans ladite base et de la poudre de diamant, ainsi qu'un procédé pour produire cette matière spécifiant la granulométrie de la poudre de base et les conditions de frittage de celle-ci à une température relativement basse, inférieure à la température de graphitisation du diamant c. Cette matiere frittée est adaptée pour le polissage et le rodage des verres de lunettes et des lentilles optiques, des prismes, des plaques de circuits imprimés, de la surface des verres de montres, du marbre, etc
