본 고안은 팩시밀리에 사용하는 송신원고의 광량조절장치에 관한 것으로 특히 결상렌즈의 전면에 광량조절장치를 설치하여 이메지 센서가 화정보를 확실하게 감지할 수 있도록 한 송신원고의 광량조절 장치에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 제1도에서 보는 바와 같이 광원(1)에서 송신원고(2)로 조사된 빛이 송신원고(2)에서 다시반사되어 제1 및 제2반사거울(3)(4)과 결상렌즈(5)를 거쳐 이메지센서(Imagesensor)(6)에 도달함으로서 송신원고(2)에서 반사된 광량이 아무런 필터링(Filtering)없이 이메지센서(6)로 입럭되기 때문에 송신원고(2)의 재질에 따라 달라지는 반사율의 차이에 의해 이메지센서(6)에서 받는 조도가 달라짐으로서 전압차에 따른 독취에 혼돈을 발생시켜 정확한 입력데이타를 얻기가 어려웠다. 따라서 별도의 회로구성을 통하여 이를 보상하였던 것이다.
본 고안은 결상렌즈의 전면에 광량조절장치를 설치하여 이러한 문제점을 해결하도록 안출한 것으로 첨부된 도면에 의거 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다. 제2도와 같이 광원(1)에서 조사된 빛의 송신원고(2)가 반사하고 이를 다시 반사하도록 제2도와 같이 반사거울(3)(4)을 설치하고, 결상렌즈(5)의 후단에 이메지 센서(6)를 설치함은 종래의 구성과 동일하다.
본 고안에서는 결상렌즈(5)의 외부에 광량조절장치(7)를 설치하였다. 이 광량조절장치(7)는 제3도와 같이 원통형으로 형성된 구동프레임(8)의 일측에 레버(10)를 형성하여 선단을 제4도와 같이 외부의 광량조절부위(16)를 돌출시키고 구동프레임(8)의 내부선단에는 다수의 흑색블래드(Blade)(11)를 고정핀(12)으로 고정시켜 구동프레임(8)의 회전에 따라 블래드(11)가 고정핀(12)을 중심으로 회전핀(113)에 의해 회전하면서 중앙에 만들어지는 원의 직경을 변화시킬 수 있도록 하며, 외부를 둘러싸고 있는 케이스(9)의 선단에는 배율이 없는 투명유리(14)를 착설하였다.
상기의 구성에 따른 동작을 블래드(11)와 결상렌즈(5)의 특성이론과 함께 설명하면 다음과 같다. 편의상 I0=이메지센서(6)에서 감지회로 조도, R=송신원고(2)의 반사율,=결상렌즈(5)의 투과율, Ip=광원(1)에서 조사하는 조도, m=결상렌즈(5)의 배율, F=f/D(f : 촛점거리, D : 렌즈직경)라 표시하면 이메지센서(6)에서의 감지회로조도는 다음과 같은 식으로 표현할 수 있다.
(A)식에서 Ip, m,는 광학계가 결정됨으로서 고정되는 값이므로 결국 Ip는 R과 F1의 값에 따라 정해진다고 볼 수 있다. 그런데 일반적으로 송신원고(2)는 그 원고의 반사율을 메바쓰(Mecbath)의 농도값을 (D1)에 비교 하는데, 팩시밀리에 사용되는 원고중 시험지류는 D1=1/R1이 1.0이상이고 일반백색종이류는 D1=1/R2이 0.85이며, 반사율이 높은 코팅(Coating)류는 D=1/R3이 0.5이하이다. 따라서 R의 값이 R1, R2, R3로 변함에 따라 I0에서 얻어지는 값도 비례하여 심한 변화가 있음을 알수 있다.
이에따라 F의 값을 보정하게 되면 IO의 값을 일정하게 유지할 수 있으므로 이메지센서(6)에서의 조도는 훨씬 안정화 될 수 있다. 따라서 R의 값의 변화에 따른 F의 값은 F=f/D의 관계에서 f가 일정하므로 렌즈직경 D를 D1, D2, D3로 변화시킴으로써 가능하고, 이를 위하여 본 고안에서는 결상렌즈(5)앞에 블래드(11)를 설치 한것이다. (A)식에서는 R1/R2=(F1/F2)2을 얻을 수 있으며, 또한 R1/R2=(D2/D)2이 성립하므로 R 값이 R1, R2, R3로 변화함에 따라 직경을 D1, D2, D3로 조정하고 이는 제4도에서와 같이 레버(5)로 셋팅(setting)시킬수가 있다.
이와같이 본 고안은 광원(1)에서 조사하는 광량을 광량조절장치(7)에서 항상 최적의 상태로 조절함에 따라 정해진 광학부의 부품하에서도 이메지센서(6)에 도달하는 광량을 송신원고(2)의 반사율에 관계없이 일정하게 유지시킬 수 있어 안정된 화상정를 입력시킬 수 있으며, 회로에 의한 보정이 필요없는 것이다.

  1. 광원(1)과 송신원고(2) 및 제1, 제2반사거울(3)(4)을 설치하고 결상렌즈 (5)의 후단에 이메지센서(6)를 부착한 팩시밀리의 광하계에 있어서, 레버(10)에 의해 수축, 확대하는 광량조절장치(7)의 블래드(11) 후면에 결상렌즈(5)를 설치하여 송신원고(2)로 부터 반사되는 광량을 안정화하도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 송신원고의 광량조절장치.
