Claims (12)

  1. 40중량% 이하의 조밀화 폴리에테르설폰이 충분한 점착성 및 가공을 위한 유동성을 유지하면서 열경화성수지에 첨가될 수 있는, 용액 중합화에 이어 침전에 의해 제조된 미조밀화 폴리에테르설폰과 비교하여 직경 약 1내지 100 미크론의 감소된 표면적을 갖는 입자형태의 조밀화 폴리에테르설폰(PES).
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 입자가 미세구형(microspheres)임을 특징으로 하는 조밀화 폴리에테르설폰.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 입자가 약 1 내지 30 미크론 범위의 최대 크기, 3미만의 종횡비 및 실질적으로 평활한 표면을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 조밀화 폴리에테르설폰.
  4. A) PES를 반용매로 함침시켜서 균질한 페이스트를 얻고, B) 페이스트의 에멀션을 안정화시키기에 충분한 양의 계면활성제를 첨가하면서 고전단 혼합 처리함으로써 물중의 안정화된 페이스트 에멀션으로 만들고, C) 혼합물의 온도가 약 45℃에 도달될 때까지 가열 매질의 온도를 혼합물의 온도보다 약 3℃ 위로 유지시킬정도의 열을 가하면서 안정화된 에멀션을 제어된 진공처리한 후, 혼합물의 온도가 약 90 내지 95℃에 도달되도록 강하게 가열하고, D) 충분한 시간동안 상기 진공 및 온도를 유지시켜서 대부분의 반용매를 에멀션으로부터 제거한 후, 혼합된 제제를 냉각시키고, E) 그로부터 얻어진 조밀화 PES를 회수, 세척 및 건조시키는 것으로 이루어진 방법에 따라 제조된 조밀화 PES.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 계면활성제가 폴리비닐 알코올 및 글리세린임을 특징으로 하는 조밀화 PES.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 진공이 가열처리시에 반용매의 휘발을 유발시키기에 충분함을 특징으로 하는 조밀화 PES.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 반용매가 메틸렌 클로라이드임을 특징으로 하는 조밀화 PES.
  8. A) PES를 반용매로 함침시켜서 균질한 페이스트를 얻고, B) 페이스트의 에멀션을 안정화시키기에 충분한 양의 계면활성제를 첨가하면서 고전단 혼합 처리함으로써 물중의 안정화된 페이스트 에멀션으로 만들고, C) 혼합물의 온도가 약 45℃에 도달될 때까지 가열 매질의 온도를 혼합물의 온도보다 약 3℃ 위로 유지시킬정도의 열을 가하면서 안정화된 에멀션을 제어된 진공처리한 후, 혼합물의 온도가 약 90 내지 95℃에 도달되도록 강하게 가열하고, D) 대부분의 용매가 에멀션으로부터 제거될 때까지 상기 진공 및 온도를 유지시킨 후, 혼합된 제제를 냉각시키고, E) 그로부터 얻어진 조밀화 PES를 회수, 세척 및 건조시키는 것으로 이루어진 조밀화 PES의 제조방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 진공이 가열처리시에 반용매의 휘발을 유발시키기에 충분함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 계면활성제가 폴리비닐 알코올 및 글리세린임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제8항에 있어서, 반용매가 메틸렌 클로라이드임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  12. 열경화성 수지 및 약 40중량% 이하 양의 조밀화 PES로 이루어진 매트릭스 수지/섬유 복합체 제조용 매트릭스 수지.
