Claims (6)

  1. 조향핸들(1)에 접속된 피니언과, 전기한 피니언에 치합되는 랙치(toothed rack)를 보유하는 조항기어랙(3)과, 전기한 조향기어랙을 지지하기 위해서 전기한 조행기어랙과 조항기어하우징(4) 사이에 장착되는 부싱슬리이브(5)(6)를 보유하는 랙·피니언식 조항장치에 있어서, 전기한 부싱슬리이브(6)는, 그 외면의 원주방향으로 전기한 조향기어하우징의 내면과 접촉하는 접촉영역(11)과, 조향기어하우징의 내면과 접촉하지 않는 비접촉영역(12)이 교대로 형성됨과 아울러, 전기한 비접촉영역(12)의 일부에 전기한 조향기어랙의 측방향으로 전기한 하우징(4)의 내면과 접하도록 설치되어 있는 컬럼부재(18)를 보유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 랙·피니언식 조향장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 전기한 접촉영역(11)의 외면에는 체결여유를 갖고 전기한 하우징(4)에 끼워맞춰지도록 세레이션(16)이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 랙·피니언식 조향장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 전기한 부싱슬리이브(6)는, 조향기어랙의 축방향 중앙부엣서 전기한 비접촉영역(12)에 대응하는 내면에 체결이류를 갖고 전기한 조향기어랙과 미끄럼가능하게 접촉하는 영역(13)을 보유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 랙·피니언식 조향장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 전기한 컬럼부재(18)가 삼각주인 것을 특징으로 하는 랙·피니언식 조향장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 전기한 컬럼부재(18)가 다각주(多角柱)인 것을 특징으로 하는 랙·피니언식 조향장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 전기한 컬럼부재(18)가 반원주인 것을 특징으로 하는 랙·피니언식 조향장치.
