Claims (14)

  1. 섬유상 절연 블랭킷은 경화된 열경화성 결합제에 의해 상호 결합된 섬유를 포함하고; 그 블랭킷의 밀도는 입방피트당 0.2파운드 내지 1.5파운드 범위이고 두께는 3/8인치 내지 2인치 범위이고; 표면시이트는 경화된 열경화성 결합제에 의해 블랭킷의 주표면에 결합되고 있고; 그 결합된 표면시이트는 공기가 침투할 수 있는 것으로 이루어진것을 특징으로하는 특별히 항공기 절연체로 적합한 절연제품.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 섬유상 절연 블랭킷은 페놀성 결합제에 의해 표면 시이트와 그리고 상호간에 결합되어 있는 유리섬유로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 절연제품.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 표면 시이트가 다공성 편직 또는 비편직인것을 특징으로 하는 절연제품.
  4. 제4항에 있어서, 표면시이트가 폴리에스테르로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 절연제품.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 표면시이트가 섬유상 블랭킷에 부착되지 않았을때 블랭킷 섬유의 이동흐름에 실질적으로 불침투성인것을 특징으로 하는 절연 제품.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 결합제 및 표면시이트는 적어도 40CFR 파트 25(FAR 25.853) 또는 BMS 8-142의 가연도조건을 만족하는 정도의 방염제이고, 표면재를 갖는 절연 블랭킷의 장력이 블랭킷만의 장력보다 적어도 3배 인것을 특징으로하는 절연제품.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 블랭킷의 반대편 주표면에 부착되어 있는 앞서 언급한 표면시이트와 유사한 두번째 표면시이트를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 절연 제품.
  8. 복수의 섬유상 절연 블랭킷은 직접적으로 적층하여 상호배열되고, 그 블랭킷은 경화된 열경화성 결합제에 의해 결합된 섬유를 포함하고; 그 블랭킷의 밀도는 입방피트당 0.2 내지 1.5파운드이고, 두께는 3/8인치 내지 2인치 범위이고; 적어도 말단 블랭킷은 경화된 열경화성 결합제에 의해 마지막 블랭킷의 외부주표면에 결합된 표면시이트를 가지고, 그 결합된 표면시이트는 공기가 침투할수 있고; 그리고 적층한 블랭킷의 끝부분을 덮는 장치는 상기 말단 블랭킷상의 외부표면 시이트에 부착되는 것으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 특별히 항공기 절연체로 적합한 절연제품.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 적층된 블랭킷의 끝부분을 덮는 장치는 상기 말단 블랭킷 반대편에 적층된 블랭킷의 끝부분에로까지 연장되는 필름으로 이루어진것을 특징으로 하는 절연제품.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 표면시이트가 적층내 양 말단 블랭킷의 외부표면에 부착되고, 여기서 적층된 블랭킷의 끝부분을 덮는 장치가 상기한 양쪽 표면시이트에 부착되는 필름으로 이루어진것을 특징으로하는 절연제품.
  11. 제8항에 있어서, 표면시이트는 적층내 양 말단 블랭킷의 외부표면에 부착되고, 여기서 적층된 블랭킷의 끝부분을 덮는 장치는 적층된 블랭킷의 끝부분을 넘어서 연장되어서 상호 부착되는것을 특징으로 하는 절연 제품.
  12. 섬유상 절연 블랭킷은 경화된 열경화성 결합제에 의해 상호결합된 섬유를 포함하고; 그 블랭킷의 밀도는 입방피트당 0.2파운드 내지 1.5파운드이고 두께는 3/8인치 내지 2인치 범위이고; 표면시이트는 경화된 열경화성 결합제에 의해 블랭킷의 주표면에 결합되어있고; 그 결합된 표면시이트는 공기가 침투할수 있고; 그리고 그 블랭킷은 표면시이트가 동체가 아닌 항공기의 내부쪽으로 면하여 동체에 부착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 절연된 항공기 동체에 있어서의 개량방법.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 적어도 블랭킷의 끝부분 둘레까지는 연장하여, 표면 시이트의 주부분이 덮여지지 않는 상태로 있도록 표면시이트에 부착되어 있는 필름을 포함하도록 개량된 것을 특징으로 하는 개량방법.
  14. 제12항에 있어서, 절연은 맞닿는 관계로 적층하여 상호배열된 복수의 섬유상 절연 블랭킷을 포함하도록 개량된 것을 특징으로 하는 개량방법.
