제1도는 본 발명에 따른 콘택트렌즈의 정면 확대도이고,
제2도는 제1도의 렌즈를 2-2선을 따라 절단한 횡단면도이며
제3도는 본 발명에 따른 내안 렌즈의 정면 확대도이다.

Claims (20)

  1. 하기 방적식(I)로 정의되는 회전-대칭선 비구면을 포함하는, 안구의 망막상에 광의 촛점을 효과적으로 맞추기 위한 렌즈.
    상기식에서, X는 Y위치에서의 비구면점이고, r은 중심 반경이며, k는 통상적으로 사용되는 비구면 상수로서 그 값은 -1이하이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 비구면이 볼록 쌍곡선형 곡면을 갖는 렌즈.
  3. 인체 안구의 외부면을 덮도록 조절된, 오구형 곡면을 갖는 제2표면을 추가로 제2항에 따른 콘택트렌즈(contact lens).
  4. 친수성 중합체 기재로 제조된 제2항에 따른 콘택트렌즈
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 비구면이 오목 쌍곡선형 곡면을 갖는 렌즈.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 비구면이 볼록 포물선형 곡면을 갖는 렌즈.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 비구면이 오목 포물선형 곡면을 갖는 렌즈.
  8. 비구면이 볼록형인 제1항에 따른 내안 렌즈(intraocular lens).
  9. 볼록 구면, 볼록 비구면, 오목 구면, 오목 비구면(여기서 각 비구면은 제1항의 방정식(I)로 정의된다) 및 평면 중에서 선택된 기하학적 형태를 갖는 제2표면을 추가로 포함하는 제8항에 따른 내안렌즈.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 방정식(I)로 정의되는 제2비구면을 추가로 포함하는 렌즈.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 플라스틱, 수지, 중합체, 유리 및 젤라틴 기재 중에서 선택된 투명 기재의 단일 분획을 포함하는 렌즈.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 시력(optical power)이 약 +20.00 내지 약 -20.00디옵터(diopter)인 렌즈.
  13. (a)인체 안구와 예비 렌즈로 이루어진 계의 수학적 모델을 만들고, (b)상기와 같이 제조된 모델을 사용하여 분석함으로써 렌즈-안구 계를 통과하는 광선통로를 추적하고, (c)예비 렌즈의 비구면 상수, k의 값을 변화시켜 광선 경로의 자취가 정확한 촛점 및 최소 광 수차에 대해 최적인 렌즈-안구 계를 수득함을 특징으로 하여, 하기 방징식(I)로 정의되는 하나 이상의 회전-대칭성 표면을 포함하는, 안구의 망막상에 광의 촛점을 맞추기 위한 렌즈를 제조하는 방법.
    상기식에서, X는 Y위치에서의 비구면점이고, r은 중심 반경이며, k는 통상적으로 사용되는 비구면 상수로서 그 값은 -1이하이다.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 제조된 렌즈가 콘택트 렌즈인 방법.
  15. 제13항에 있어서, 교정렌즈-안구 계의 수행능을 최적화시키는 k값이 약 -1 내지 -2의 범위인 방법.
  16. 제13항에 있어서, 사용된 수학적 모델이 변조 전달 주파수를 생성하는 푸우리에 변환 함수(Fourier Transform function)인 방법.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 변조 전달 주파수가 교정렌즈-안구 계를 최적화시키는 회절 한계치에 필적하는 방법.
  18. 제13항에 있어서, 교정렌즈-안구계의 안구가 정시안이고 최적화 방법이 정시안의 시력 이상의 시력을 제공하는 방법.
  19. 제13항에 있어서, 교정 렌즈-안구계를 통과하여 망막에 부딪히는 점광원에 대한 망막 스포트(spot)크기를 최소화시킴으로써 교정 렌즈-안구 계를 최적화시키는 방법.
  20. 제13항에 있어서, 교정 렌즈-안구계를 촛점이 맞추어진 상을 망막에 가장 밀접하게 위치시킴으로써 최적화시키는 방법.
