Claims (15)

  1. 촉매의 존재하에서 페놀 또는 티오페놀류 화합물과 고리형 유기 카본에이트 화합물을 반응시켜 페놀 및 티오페놀류 화합물의 0-히드록시알킬 에테르를 제조하기 위한 개선된 방법에 있어서, 촉매로서 트리유기포스핀 화합물을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가 페놀 또는 티오페놀류 화합물의 중량에 근거한 약 0.0005 내지 5중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 고리형 유기 카본에이트가 에틸렌 카본에이트 또는 프로필렌 카본에이트로부터 선택된을 특징으로 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가 페놀 또는 티오페놀류 화합물의 중량에 근거한 약 0.003 내지 2.0%의 양으로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 고리형 유기 카본에이트 대 페놀 또는 티오페놀류 화합물의 몰비는 페놀 또는 티오페놀류 화합물의 히드록실그룹 매몰당 고리형 유기 카본에이트 1몰임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 반응을 약 125 내지 225℃의 온도에서 진행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제3항에 있어서, 촉매가 페놀 또는 티오페놀류 화합물의 중량에 근거한 약 0.003 내지 2.0중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제3항에 있어서, 반응을 약 125 내지 225℃의 온도에서 진행시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 반응을 약 125 내지 225℃의 온도에서 진행시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 촉매의 존재하에서 레소르시놀을 에틸렌카본에이트와 반응시켜 레소르시놀 디-(2-히드록시에틸)에테르를 제조하기위한 개선된 방법에 있어서, 촉매로서 트리유기포스핀 화합물을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 촉매가 레소르시놀의 중량에 근거한 약 0.0005 내지 5.0중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  12. 제10항에 있어서, 반응을 약 125 내지 225℃의 온도에서 진행시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  13. 제10항에 있어서, 촉매가 레소르시놀의 중량에 근거한 약 0.003 내지 2.0중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 반응을 약 125 내지 225℃의 온도에서 진행시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 레소르시놀 대 에틸렌 카본에이트의 몰비가 약 1:2임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
