Claims (40)

  1. 비디오 정보를 제공하는 입력 비디오 신호를 가속화된 속도로 수신하는 제1수단과, 상기한 비디오 신호를 저장하는 제2수단과, 상기한 제2수단으로부터 저장되어 있는 비디오 신호를 수신하여, 비디오 정보를 제공하는 출력 비디오 신호를 시청 가능한 속도로 발생하는 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 입력 비디오 신호는 압축된 디지털 비디오 신호이며, 상기한 출력 비디오 신호는 아날로그 비디오 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 입력 비디오 신호는 마이크로웨이브 송수신 장치, RF튜터, 광 섬유, 전화선 또는 동축 케이블등으로부터 수신되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 수단은 또한 시청가능한 속도로 입력 비디오 신호를 수신할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  5. 비디오 정보를 제공하는 비디오 입력 비디오 신호를 제1의 속도로 수신하는 수단과, 상기한 비디오 정보를 내포하는 비디오 출력 신호를 상기한 제1 속도보다 빠른 제2 속도로 제공하는 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기한 입력 비디오 신호는 아날로그 비디오 신호이며, 상기한 출력 비디오 신호는 디지털 압축 비디오 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 상기한 출력 비디오 신호는 마이크로웨이브 송수신 장치, 광 섬유, 라디오 송신 장치, 전화선 또는 동축 케이블등에 의해 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  8. 입력 비디오 신호를 수신하는 수단과, 데이터를 저장하는 메모리 수단과, 상기한 입력 비디오 신호에 응답하여 디지털 압축 비디오 신호를 발생하여 이 압축된 디지털 비디오 신호를 상기한 메모리 수단에 저정하는 수단과, 상기한 메모리 수단으로부터 압축된 디지털 비디오 신호를 수신하여 그로부터 시청하기에 적합한 출력 비디오 신호를 재구성하는 재구성 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기한 메모리 수단에 저장된 디지털 압축 비디오 신호를 편집하는 수단을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기한 편집 수단은 사용자로 하여금 상기한 디지털 압축 비디오 신호의 부분들의 배열 순서를 변경할 수 있게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 편집되고 있는 상기한 디지털 압축 비디오 신호의 화상을 디스플레이하는 수단을 추가로 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  12. 아날로그 비디오 신호를 저장하는 제1 메모리 수단과, 디지털 비디오 신호를 저장하는 제2 메모리 수단과, 상기한 아날로그 비디오 신호를 상기한 제1 메모리 수단으로부터 수신하여 상기한 아날로그 비디오 신호로 변환하고 이 아날로그 비디오 신호를 상기한 제2 메모리 수단에 저장하는 변환 수단으로 이루어지며, 상기한 변환 수단은 또한 상기한 제2 메모리 수단내에 저장된 디지털 비디오 신호를 다시 상기한 제1 메로리 수단에 저장하기 위하여 아날로그 비디오 신호로 변환할 수 있도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 메모리수단은 자기 메모리, 광 메모리 또는 반도체 메모리로 구성되며, 상기한 디지털 비디오 신호는 디지털 압축 비디오 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  14. 제12항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 메모리 수단 및 변환 수단에 접속되어 아날로그 입력 비디오 신호를 수신하기 위한 수단을 추가로 포함하는 것에 의해, 상기한 아날로그 입력 비디오 신호가 제1 메모리 수단에 저장되거나 상기한 변환 수단에 의해 디지털 비디오 신호를 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  15. 아날로그 오디오 신호를 수신하는 수단과, 상기한 아날로그 오디오 신호를 디지털화하여 상기한 오디오 신호에 대응하는 디지털 데이터를 발생하고 다시 이 디지털 데이터를 압축하는 수단과, 상기한 압축된 디지털 데이터를 저장하는 메모리 수단과, 상기한 압축된 디지털 데이터를 송신하는 송수신 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 상기한 송수신 장치는 또한 압축된 디지털 데이터를 수신하여 이를 상기한 메모리 수단에 저장하며, 상기한 장치내에 상기한 메모리 수단에 저장된 데이터를 압축 해지하고 아날로그 오디오 신호로 변환하는 수단이 포함되어 잇는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  17. 제15항에 있어서, 상기한 압축된 디지털 데이터를 편집하기 위한 수단을 추가로 포함하는 장치.
  18. 제1 기간 동안에 오디오 정보에 대응하는 제1 신호를 전송 채널로부터 수신하는 제1 수단과, 상기한 제1 신호를 수신하고 그로부터 음파를 재 재구성하여 상기한 제1 기간보다 사실상 더 긴 제2 기간동안 상기한 음파를 청취할 수 있게 하는 제2 수단으로 이루어지며 상기 제2 수단에 의하여 상기한 제2 기간과 동일한 시간동안 상기한 전송 채널을 액세스할 필요가 없도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  19. 아날로그 오디오 신호를 수신하여 이를 디지털 오디오 신호로 변환하는 제1 수단과, 상기한 디지털 오디오 신호를 저장하는 제2 수단으로서, 상기한 제1 수단도 상기한 제2 수단으로부터 디지털 오디오 신호를 수신하여 이를 청취 가능한 아날로그 오디오 신호로 다시 변환할 수 있게 된 제2 수단과, 데이터를 저장하는 제3 수단과, 상기한 디지털 오디오 신호를 상기한 제2 수단으로부터 상기한 제3 수단으로 이송시켜 상기한 제2 수단을 부가적인 디지털 오디오 신호의 수신 및 저장에 활용할 수 있게 하는 제4 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 수단은 또한 상기한 디지털 오디오 신호가 압축된 디지털 오디오 신호로 되도록 데이터를 압축하며, 상기한 제3 수단은 상기한 제2수단으로부터 상기한 디지털 오디오 신호를 수신할 수 있는 메모리 소자이며, 상기한 제3 수단은 또한 상기한 제1 수단에서 변환된 아날로그 오디오 신호를 수신하여 저장할 수 있도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  21. 제20항에 있어서, 상기한 제3 수단은 상기한 제1 및 제2 수단으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있으며, 제4 수단은 마이크로웨이브 송수신 장치로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  22. 제20항에 있어서, 상기한 제3 수단은 상기한 제1 및 제2 수단으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있으며, 제4 수단은 광섬유로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  23. 제20항에 있어서, 상기한 제3 수단은 상기한 제1 및 제2 수단으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있으며, 제4 수단은 전화선으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  24. 재19항에 있어서, 상기한 제3 수단은 아날로그 오디오 신호를 차후에 청취하기 위해 저장할 수 있도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  25. 제1 기간 동안에 오디오 신호를 수신하여 제1 메모리 수단에 저장하는 수신 수단과; 상기한 제1 기간보다 사실상 더 짧은 제2 기간 동안에 상기한 오디오 신호를 전송하는 전송 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  26. 제25항에 있어서, 상기한 수신 수단은 상기한 수신된 오디오 신호를 저장하기에 앞서 아날로그 형태에서 디지털 포맷으로 변환하며, 상기한 전송 수단은 상기한 저장된 오디오 신호를 상기한 본 발명의 장치에서 멀리 떨어진 장소를 송신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  27. 제1 기간 동안에 오디오 신호를 수신하여 제1 메모리 수단에 저장하는 수신 수단과, 상기한 제1 기간보다 사실상 긴 제2 기간동안 상기한 오디오 신호를 청취할 수 있도록 상기한 저장된 오디오 신호를 스피커에 공급하는 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  28. 제27항에 있어서, 상기한 수신 수단은 디지털 포맷의 오디오 신호를 수신하여 이를 아날로그 포맷의 오디오 신호로 변환하며, 상기한 수신 수단은 상기한 본 발명의 장치로부터 멀리 떨어진 장소로부터 상기한 오디오 신호를 수신하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  29. 비디오 라이브러리로부터 전자파를 수신하는 제1 수단으로서, 여기서 상기한 신호의 일부는 가속화된 속도로 수신되는 비디오 프로그램에 대응하는 제1 수단과, 상기한 비디오 프로그램을 나중에 시철할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 상기한 비디오 프로그램의 일부를 저장하는 제1 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  30. 제29항에 있어서, 상기한 비디오 프로그램에 대응하는 상기한 신호의 일부는 상기한 비디오 프로그램에 대응하는 압축된 디지털 데이터로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  31. 제30항에 있어서, 상기한 압축된 디지털 데이터를 수신하여 압축해지하며 그로부터 비디오 신호를 재구성하는 한편, 비디오 모니터에는 상기한 재구성된 비디오 신호를 공급하는 수단과, 비디오 모니터를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  32. 제31항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 수단은 비디오 프로그램을 시청하는데 필요한 시간의 10% 미만으로 상기한 비디오 프로그램을 수신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  33. 제30항에 있어서, 상기한 제2 수단은 압축된 디지털 형태로된 상기한 비디오 프로그램에 상응하는 같은 신호의 동일한 부분을 저장하며, 상기한 본 발명의 장치 TF는 텔레비젼 신호를 수신하는 RF 튜너와, 상기한 텔레비젼 신호를 차후에 시청하기 위하여 저장하는 비디오 레코더와, 상기한 제2 수단에서 나온 압축된 디지털 데이터를 압축해지하여 그로부터 비디오 신호를 재구성하는 제3 수단을 추가로 포함하는 것에 의해, 상기한 재구성된 비디오 신호가 비디오 저장 매체상에도 저장될 수 있도록 하기 위하여 제3 수단은 상기한 비디오 레코더에 접속되며, 상기한 압축된 디지털 데이터가 상기한 저장 매체상으로 다운 로드될 수 있도록 하기 위하여 상기한 제2 수단은 또한 상기한 비디오 레코더에도 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  34. 제33항에 있어서, 상기한 비디오 레코더는 상기한 제1, 제2, 제3 수단을 갖춘 공동 하우징 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  35. 제33항에 있어서, 상기한 비디오 레코더는 상기한 제1, 제2, 제3 수단을 갖춘 공동 하우징 내에 있지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  36. 오디오 라이브러리로부터 전자파 신호를 수신하는 제1 수단으로서, 상기한 전자파 신호의 일부가 가속화된 속도로 수신되는 오디오 프로그램에 해당하는 제1 수단과, 상기한 오디오 프로그램을 차후에 청취하기 위해 그 오디오 프로그램에 대응하는 상기한 전자파 신호의 일부를 저장하는 제2 수단으로 이루어진 장치.
  37. 제36항에 있어서, 상기한 오디오 프로그램에 대응하는 상기한 전자파 신호의 일부가 상기한 오디오 프로그램에 대응하는 압축된 디지털 데이터로 구성되어 있으며, 상기한 신호는 라디오 또는 텔렙젼 대역 주파수 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  38. 제37항에 있어서, 스피커와, 상기한 압축된 디지털 데이터를 수신 및 압축 해지하여 이로부터 오디오 신호를 재구성하는 것에 의해, 이 재구성된 오디오 신호를 상기한 스피커에 제공하는 수단등을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  39. 제38항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 수단은 오디오 프로그램을 청취하는데 필요한 시간의 10% 미만의 시간내에 상기한 오디오 프로그램을 수신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  40. 제37항에 있어서, 상기한 제2 수단에 저장된 압축된 디지털 데이터를 편집하기 위한 수단을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로하는 장치.
