Claims (13)
- 금속 또는 세라믹 분말입자를 형태를 갖춘 고체물품으로 성형하기 위한 소결공정의 결합제로서, 저분자량 고체화합물이 용매로서 대부분을 차지하고 적어도 한가지 고분자량의 중합체가 용질로서 적은 비율을 차지하는 실질적으로 균질인 고체 용액으로 이루어지고, 여기에서 상기 중합체와 화합물은 용융시에 필수적으로 상호용해성이고, 이 상태에서 냉각되면실질적 상 분리 없이 고화되며, 상기 화합물은 1) 화합물의 연화점 또는 상기 중합체의 연화점 이하인 온도에서의 중합체 용매-가용성, 및 2) 화합물의 연화점 또는 중합체의 연화점 이하인 온도에서 승화를 일으킬 수 있는 능력 중의 한가지 특성을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 결합제.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체가 상기 중합체와 화합물의 총중량에 대하여 약 5내지 35중량%로 구성되며, 상기 분말입자와의 일반적으로 균일한 기계적 혼합을 하기에 혼합물의 점도가 부적합할 정도로 커지지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 결합제.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 중합체가 폴리스티렌이나 폴리에틸렌 비닐 아세테이트이고, 상기 화합물이 아세트아닐리드, 디페닐 술폰, 디페닐 카보네이트, 항 피린, 로진 또는 나프탈렌인 것을 특징으로하는 결합제.
- 금속 또는 세라믹 분말입자 약 40내지 70부피%와 제1항의 결합제약 30내지 60부피%로 이루어지고 소결공정에 의해 고체형태로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 성형조성물.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 분말입자에 대한 결합제의 부착을 촉진하기 위해 결합제에 대하여 약10내지 15중량%이하의 소량의 커플링제를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 성형조성물.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 결합제의 점도를 감소시키거나 가요성을 개선시키기 위해서 결합제에 약40중량%이하의 소량의 가소제를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 성형 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 분말입자의 표면에 상기 커플링제를 피복시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 성형조성물.
- 금속 또는 세라믹 분말입자를 제1항의 결합제와 균일하게 혼합하는 단계,상기 결합제가 용융상태인 동안에 상기 혼합물을 형상을 갖춘 물품으로 형성시키는 단계, 상기 결합제상기 형상내에서 고화시키는 단계, 상기 중합체가 상기 부품형상내에서 상기 분말입자를 보유하는 다공성 고체 기질로 유지되는 동안 상기 부품으로부터 상기 저분자량의 화합물을 반드시 선택적이고, 비파괴적으로 제거하는 단계, 형성된 다공성 물품을 고온으로 열처리하여 일차적으로 열분해에 의해 상기 중합체를 제거한 다음 상기 분말입자를 상기 혼합물의 초기형태와 실질적으로 동일한 형상의 고체물품으로 소결시키는 단계로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 금속 또는 세라믹 분말입자로 형상을 갖춘 물품을 성형 형성시키는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 저분자량의 화합물을 선별 제거한 후에 형성된 물품을 예비적으로 열분해 하여 물품으로부터 중합체를 제거한 다음, 소결 열처리하여 상기 분말 입자를 소결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 결합제와 분말입자의 초기 혼합물이 충분한 압력과 열로 사출성형시킴에 의해 성형부품을 형성하는 혼합물이 유체로 흐르게 됨으로써 상기 성형부품을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 화합물이나, 중합체중의 어느 하나의 연화점 이하의 온도에서 고체성형 물품을 실질적으로 상기 중합체 또는 분말입자에 대한 용매의 작용이 없는 상기 화합물과 접촉시킴으로써 상기 저분자량의 화합물을 선별제거하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 화합물이나, 중합체중의 어느 하나의 연화점 이하의 온도에서 승화시킴으로써 상기 저분자량의 화합물을 제거하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 화합물의 연화온도 이하의 온도에서 상기 화합물을 선별 제거함으로써 제거도중에 상기 화합물이 기계적으로 강한 성질을 유지하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
