제1도는 본 발명의 장치를 나타내고 있다. 제1a도는 본 발명의 장치의 스트링(string)의 분포를 나타내는 측면이다. 제1b도는 제1도의 장치 영역 B를 90℃ 각도로 회전시켜 확대한 것이다. 제2도는 본 발명의 보강 코드(cord)를 사용하여 만든 타이어를 나타내고 있다.

Claims (17)

  1. (a) 약0.001 내지 1 토르의 압력에서 O2와 CF4의 혼합물을 함유한 플라즈마 챔버(plasma chamber)내에 표면을 갖는 중합체를 배치하는 단계; 및 (b) 상기 중합체 표면을 약 50Hz 내지 2.45GHz의 전기 에너지에 의해 발생된 플라즈마에 노출시키는 단계를 특징으로 하는, 화학적 결합을 위한 중합체 표면의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 10% 내지 90%의 O2와 10 내지 0%의 CF4를 포함한 기체 혼합물로 상기 플라즈마 챔버를 충진시키는 단계를 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. (a) 중합성 기체를 함유한 플라즈마 챔버내에 보강 중합체를 배치하는 단계; 및 (b) 상기 중합체 표면을 약 50Hz 내지 2.45GHz의 전기 에너지에 의해 발생된 플라즈마에 노출시키는 단계를 특징으로 하는 고무에 직접 결합시키기 위한 보강 중합체 표면의 제조방법.
  4. (a) 혼합성 기체, 비-혼합성 기체, 불활성 기체, 또는 그의 혼합물을 함유한 제1플라즈마에 챔버내에 보강 중합체를 배치하는 단계; (b) 상기 보강 중합체 표면을 약50Hz내지 2.45GHz의 전기 에너지에 의해 발생된 플라즈마에 노출시키는 단계; (c) 상기 보강 중합체를 중합성 기체를 함유한 플라즈마 챔버내에 배치하는 단계; 및 (d) 상기 보강 중합체 표면을 약 50Hz 내지 2.45GHz의 전기 에너지에 의해 발생된 플라즈마에 노출시키는 단계를 특징으로 하는 고무에 직접 결합시키기 위한 보강 중합체 표면의 제조방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 플라즈마 챔버에 10 내지 90%의 O2및 10내지 90%의 CF4를 포함한 기체 혼합물을 충전시키는 단계를 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, NH3, O2, N2, CF4, SF6, Ar, He, N2O, H2o 및 그의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로 부터 상기 혼화성 기체, 비-혼화성 기체 또는 불활성 기체를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 기체로서 CS2를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 보강 부재가 보강 중합체 표면상에서 고무 결합 중합체를 용착시키는 중합성 기체의 존재하에 플라즈마로 표면 처리된 보강 중합체로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 한쌍의 보강 비이드(bead), 상기 한쌍의 비이드 주위를 감싸는 카이커스 플라이(carcass ply), 보강 부재, 공기 타이어의 크라운 영역내에 있는 트래드(tread)영역, 및 상기 트래드 및 상기 한쌍의 비이드 사이에 배열되어 있는 측벽을 특징으로 하는 공기 타이어.
  9. 보강 부재가 보강 중합체 표면으로 부터 수소 결합증 및 약하게 결합된 종을 제거하여 상기 종합체내의 반응 부위가 노출되도록 혼화성, 비-혼화성 또는 불활성 기체의 존재하에 플라즈마로 표면처리시킨 후, 상기 보강 중합체 표면상에 고무결합 중합체를 용착시키는 중합성 기체에 노출시킨 보강 중합체로 제조된 것을 특징으로 하는, 적어도 한쌍의 비이드, 상기 한쌍의 비이드 주위를 감싸는 적어도 하나의 카아커스 플라이, 공기 타이어의 크라운 영역내에 있는 임의의 부가적인 보강 구조물, 상기 카아커스 플라이 및 상기 임의의 부가적인 및 임의로 상기 타이어의 기타 영역에 배열되어 있는 보강 부재, 상기 타이어의 크라운 영역내에 있는 트레드, 상기 트레드 및 상기 한쌍의 비이드 사이에 배열되어 있는 측벽을 특징으로 하는 공기 타이어.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 기체가 CS2인 공기 타이어.
  11. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 보강 부재가 중합성 기체의 존재하에 상기 플라즈마에 노출시키기 전에 플라즈마로 표면 처리되는 공기 타이어.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 보강 부재가 CS2중합성 기체로 표면 처리되는 공기 타이어.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 보강 부재가 중합성 기체의 존재하에 상기 플라즈마에 노출시키기 전에, 혼화성 기체, 비-혼화성 기체 또는 불활성 기체의 존재하에 플라즈마로 표면 처리되는 공기 타이어.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 혼화성 기체, 비-혼화성 기체 또는 불활성 기체가 NH3, O2, N2, CF4, SF6, Ar, He, F 및 그의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택된되는 공기 타이어.
  15. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 보강 부재가 필라멘트, 토우(tow), 코드(cord) 또는 단섬유의 형태로 되어 있는 공기 타이어.
  16. 엘라스토머 또는 플라스틱과 반응하는 부류의 플라즈마 용착물을 포함하는 표면을 갖는 열가소성 재료를 포함하는 엘라스토머 또는 플라스틱용 보강 요소.
