Claims (1)

  1. 각각 제1의 주면측에 전극(12)(13)을 가지고, 전극(12)(13)이 대향하도록 소정의 간격으로 배치된 한쌍의 기판(10)(11)과, 전술한 한쌍의 기판(10)(11)사이에 배치된 전술한 전국(12)(13)에 전압을 인가하지 않을 때에 분자의 장축이 전술한 기판 법선에 대해서 미소각도의 프레틸트각을 가진 수직배향을 하고 있는 절연 이방성이부(-)인 액정조성물(18)과, 전술한 한쌍의 기판(10)(11)의 제2 주면측에 각가 배치된 편광판을 구비한 복굴절 제어형의 액정표시기와, 이 액정표시기를 멀티플레스구동하는 구동회로를가진 액정표시장치에 있어서, 전술한 액정조성물(18)이 나사피치를 가지는 동시에 기판간격을 “d”(㎛), 액정조성물의 나사피를 “p”(㎛) , 구동시의 프레임주파수를 “f”(㎐)로 했을때, d≤p 및 50≤f·d2/p의 관게를 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.
