Claims (13)

  1. 구리 20 내지 99.9중량% 및 무정형 실리카 0.1 내지 20중량%의 비융합 메탄올 해리 촉매를 함유함을 특징으로 하는 촉매 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 추가로 크롬 5 내지 75중량%를 함유하는 촉매 조성물.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 추가로 마그네슘, 칼슘, 바륨, 스트론튬, 망간, 몰리브덴, 루테늄 및 팔라듐, 및 이들의 산화물 및 수산화물 중에서 선택된 하나이상의 금속을 함유하는 촉매 조성물.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 무정형 실리카 2 내지 10중량%를 함유하는 촉매 조성물.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 크롬 10 내지 45중량%를 함유하는 촉매 조성물.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 바륨 1 내지 15중량%를 함유하는 촉매 조성물.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 망간 1 내지 5중량%를 함유하는 촉매 조성물.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 구리65 내지 75중량%, 크롬 20 내지 30중량%, 및 무정형 실리카 2 내지 4주량%를 함유하는 촉매 조성물.
  9. 제3항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 금속이 할로겐 또는 황을 함유하지 않는 촉매 조성물.
  10. 제1항, 2항 또는 3항에 있어서, 최소 표면적이 30㎡/g인 촉매 조성물.
  11. 메탄올을 해리시키는 방법에 있어서, 메탄올을 약 100 내지 약 400℃범위의 온도에서 제1항 또는 2항의 촉매와 접촉시킴을 특징으로 하는 개선된 방법.
  12. 메탄올을 해리시키는 방법에 있어서, 메탄올을 약 100 내지 약 400℃범위의 온도에서 제3항의 촉매와 접촉시킴을 특징으로 하는 개선된 방법.
  13. 메탄올을 해리시키는 방법에 있어서, 메탄올을 약 200 내지 약 300℃범위의 온도에서 제8항의 촉매와 접촉시킴을 특징으로 하는 개선된 방법.
