Claims (5)

  1. a)20내지 94.9중량%의 스티렌 중합체, b)0.1내지 75중량%의 폴리페닐렌 에테르, c)50:1 내지 1:1의 c1:c2의 중량비로, c1)C1-C7지방족 또는 시클로지방족 포화탄화수소와 c2)C7-C8방향족 포화 탄화수소, C2-C4알콜, C3-C5케톤, C4-C6지방족 에테르, C4-C6에스테르 및/또는 1개 또는 2개 탄소원자와 2개 또는 3개 염소원자의 클로로탄화수소로 이루어지는 5내지20중량%의 발포제 혼합물, 그리고 임의로 d)유효량의 첨가물을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 입자형태의 발포성 중합체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 0.2 내지 4mm의 평균입자직경을 갖는 것을 특징으로하는 입자형태의 발포성 중합체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 30내지 93중량%의 성분 a)와 2내지 65중량%의 성분 b)를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 입자 형태의 발포성 중합체.
  4. 수성현탁액중의 입자형태로 a)스티렌중합체, b)폴리페닐렌에테르 및 필요하다면 d)유효량의 통상적인 첨가물들의 친밀 혼합물을 100내지 250℃의 온도 및 초대기압하에서, c1) C3-C7지방족 또는 시클로지방족 포화 탄화수소 및 c2)C7-C8방향족 포화 탄화수소, C2-C4알콜, C3-C5케톤, C4-C6고리형 에테르, C4-C6지방족 에테르, C4-C6에스테르 및/또는 1개 또는 2개 탄소원자와 2개 또는 3개 염소원자의 클로로탄화수소로 이루어진 발포제혼합물 c)로 함침함을 특징으로 하는, 제1항에 청구된 입자형태의 발포성 중합체의 제조방법.
  5. 수성현탁액중의 입자형태로 a)스티렌중합체, b)폴리페닐렌에테르 및 필요하다면, d)유효량의 통상적인 첨가물들의 친밀혼합물을 100 내지 250℃의 온도 및 초대기압하에서, c1)C3-C7지방족, 또는 시클로 지방족 포화 탄화수소 및 (2) C7-C8방향족 포환탄화수소 C2-C4알콜, C3-C5케톤, C4-C6고리형 에테르, C4-C6지방족 에테르, C4-C6에스테르 및/또는 1개 또는 2개 탄소원자와 2개 또는 3개 염소원자의 클로로탄화수소로 이루어진 발포제 혼합물 c)로 함침한후, 뜨거운 현탁액을 낮은 압력하의 대기중의 강하시키거나 또는 그 현탁액을 냉각하고 이어서 발포제를 함유하는 입자들을 단리하고 뜨거운 가스로 처리하여 발포시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 5내지 200kg/㎥의 밀도를 갖는 포움 입자들의 제조방법.
