제2도는 제1도에 나타낸 바와 같은 피복된 연마 제품의 단면사진이며,
제3도는 평균 종횡비가 제2도에 나타낸 제품에서 보다 더 큰 연마 필라멘트를 사용한 본 발명의 또다른 피복된 연마제품의 단면사진.
Claims (25)
- a. 지지부제;와 b. (1) 메이커 피복물; 및 (2) 상기 메이커 피복물로 상기 지지부재에 접착시킨, 거의 균일한 단면적을 갖는 다수의 예비성형된 필라멘트 연마재 입자의 층을 포함하는 피복된 연마재의 층으로 이루어지며, 여기서, 연마재 입자는 각각 종횡비가 1이상인 거의 균일한 단면적을 가지며 결정크기가 2μ이하인 소결된 알파 알루미나 결정을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연마재 입자가 이론적 밀도의 약 90%이상의 밀도를 갖는 졸 겔 알파 알루미늄 결정을 포함하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연마재 입자의 경도가 약 16GPa이상인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 필라멘트 연마재 입자의 단면적이 원형인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 지지부재상의 필라멘트-형 입자의 평균 종횡비가 약 2 : 1이상인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연마재 필라멘트의 경도가 약 18GPa이상인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제6항에 있어서, 소결시킨 연마재 필라멘트의 평균 종횡비가 약 2 : 1이상이며 각각의 연마재 필라멘트의 직경이 약 0.05 내지 약 0.5㎜이고 상기 알파 알루미나 결정이 시딩된 졸 겔 결정이며 크기가 약 1μ이하인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 필라멘트-형 알루미나 연마재 입자가 결정크기가 약 0.5μ이하인 일반적으로 동축인 결정 95%이상을 함유하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 필라멘트 입자의 파열 강도가 8,000kg/㎠이상인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 예비 성형된 연마재 입자가, 밀도가 이론적 밀도의 5%이상인 연마재 필라멘트이고, 스피넬, 멀라이트, 이산화망간, 티타니아, 마그네시아, 세리아, 지르코니아, 상기 산화물의 전구체, 및 이의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹중에서 선택된 원소를 15중량%이하로 포함하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 알파 알루미나 결정이, 크기가 1μ미만인 시딩된 졸 겔 알파 알루미나 결정인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 필라멘트-형 알루미나 기본 연마재 입자들중의 적어도 일부를 더 긴 치수로 구부러지도록한 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연마재 필라멘트들중의 적어도 일부를 이의 더 긴 치수로 가연시킨 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 예비 성형된 연마재 입자가 필라멘트의 직경이 대략 0.33㎜인 원형 연마재 필라멘트인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 연마재 필라멘트의 평균 종횡비가 약 2 : 1이상인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제2항에 있어서, 지지부재의 표면이 차단 피복물을 형성시키는데 필요한 필라멘트성 소결된 알루미나 입자를 이론적 중략의 약 40내지 60%로 수용하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 다수의 연마재 층을 사용하고 최종적으로 적용된 층이 필라멘트 연마재 입자를 포함하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 피복된 연마재의 층이 존재하는 연마재 중량을 기준으로 하여 비-필라멘트셔 연마재 입자를 40%이하 포함하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 필라멘트 입자를 적어도 일부 사용할 경우, 차단 작업편에 대한 경사각도가 0(Zero)인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 필라멘트 입자의 적어도 일부가, 성분 필라메트가 서로 대향되게 놓여 서로 지지되는 그룹으로 존재하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 필라멘트 입자의 파열강도가 8,000kg/㎠이상인 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마조제를 포함하는 층을 피복된 연마재 층에 적용시키는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마재 입자를 적용시킨후 사이즈 피복물을 적용시키고 메이커 및 사이즈 피복물이 페놀성 수지를 포함하는 피복된 연마재 재료.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마재 재료가 디스크이고 지지부재가 가황섬유인 피복된 연마재 재료.
