플라즈마 표시소자의 구조 및 그 구동방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제2도는 본 발명에 따른 플라즈마 표시소자를 보인 것으로서, (가)는 캐소드 전극의 길이 방향에 따른 표시소자의 단면도이고, (나)는 애노드 전극의 길이 방향에 따른 표시소자의 단면도이며, (다)는 표시소자의 구동을 위해 시간 변조와 전압변조 펄스의 파형을 도시한 것이다.
제3도의 (가), (나), (다)는 본 발명에 따른 표시소자를 구동하는 펄스에 따라 캐스도전극과 애노드 전극의 두전극간에 생기는 방전 영역을 나타낸 도면이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 블랙 래이어(50)와 베이스 플레이트(60), 페이스 페이트(10) 및 애노드 전극(20), 캐소드전극(40), 절연격벽(30)으로 된것에 있어서, 상기 캐소드 전극(40)을 적어도 하나 이상의 계단이나 요홈으로 형성하여 됨을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시소자의 구조.
  2. 계단이나 요홈의 모양을 가진 캐소드 전극을 구비한 표시소자를 구동하는데 있어서, 캐소드 전극에 인가되는 펄스를 시간변조함과 동시에 계단이나 요홈의 수에 따라 엣지(Edge)를 형성하되, 이 신호의 레벨은 서로 다르게 설정하여 공급함을특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시소자의 구동방법.
