Claims (7)

  1. 광학 표시 판독기에 의해 주사될 주사가능한 형태상의 바 코드의 존재를 판별하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 주사가능한 형태상의 목표 구역을 주사하고 상기, 목표 구역내의 지시의 세기에 응답하는 신호를 발생시키기 위한 주사장치, 특정 범위내의 폭을 갖고 있는 지시들을 검출하기 위한 주사 장치에 응답하는 검출 장치, 검출된 지시중 특정 범위내의 유효 갯수와 검출된 갯수를 비교하고, 검출된 지시들의 갯수가 특정 범위이하일때, 출력신호 지시를 발생시키기 위해 검출 장치에 응답하는 제 1 비교기 장치 및 제 1 비교기 장치의 출력을 저장하고, 2개의 연속적인 소사시에 제 1 비교기 장치의 출력을 비교하며, 제 1 비교기 장치의 출력이 2개의 연속적인 소사시에 유효할 때, 안에이블링 신호가 바 코드를 주사하고 디코드하기 위해 바 코드 주사기를 인에이블시키도록 인에이블링 신호를 발생시키기 위해 제 1 비교기 장치에 응답하는 제 2 비교기 장치로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 지시들이 흑색 표시 및 백색 공간인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 판별될 수 있는 바 코드가 교호 배치된 5중 2의 심볼인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서, 지시에 대한 특정 범위의 폭이 바 코드를 포함하는 넓은 흑색 표시 및 넓은 백색 공간에 대한 폭의 범위내에 있다는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, 특정 범위내의 검출된 지시들의 유효 갯수가 바 코드내의 넓은 흑색 표시 및 넓은 백색 공간의 갯수에 기초를 둔 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  6. 광학 표시 판독기에 의해 주사될 주사가능한 형태상에 바 코드가 존재하는지의 여부를 판별하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 목표 구역을 관통하는 소사 및 목표 구역내의 지시들의 세기로 응답하는 신호를 발생시킴을 주사가능한 형태상의 목표 구역을 주사하는 스텝, 특정 범위내의 폭을 갖고 있는 지시들을 검출하는 스텝, 검출된 지시의 특정 범위내의 유효 갯수와 검출된 지시들의 갯수를 비교하는 스텝, 검출된 지시들의 갯수가 검출된 지시의 특정 유효 갯수의 범위내의 존재하는 경우, 유효 신호를 저장하는 스텝, 유효 신호가 2개의 연속적인 소사시에 존재하는 경우를 결정하는 스텝, 및 유효 신호가 2개의 연속적인 소사시에 존재할 때, 인에이블링 신호가 바 코드를 주사하고 디코드하기 위해 바 코드 주사기를 인에이블시키도록 인에이블링 신호를 발생시키는 스텝들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 광학 표시 판독기에 의해 주사될 주사가능한 형태상의 바 코드의 존재를 판별하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 주사가능한 형태사의 목표 구역을 주사하고 상기 주사영역내의 지시의 세기에 응답하여 신호를 발생시키기 위한 주사장치, 특정 범위내의 폭을 갖고 있는 지시들을 검출하기 위한 주사 장치, 및 특정 범위내의 검출된 지시들의 유효갯수와 검출된 지시들의 갯수를 비교하고 검출된 갯수가 특정 범위 이하일때 출력 신호 지시를 발생시키기 위한 주사장치에 응답하는 검출장치, 및 검출된 장치의 출력을 저장하기 위한 검출장치, 및 2개의 연속적인 소사시에 검출장치의 출력을 비교하고, 검출장치의 출력이 2개의 연속적인 소사시에 유효할 때 인에이블링 신호가 바 코드를 주사하고 디코드하기 위해 바 코드 주사기를 인에이블시키도록 인에이블링 신호를 발생시키기 위한 검출장치에 응답하는 비교기 장치로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
