Claims (4)

  1. 프로그램을 실행하는 마이크로프로세서와, 상기 프로그램을 기억하는 메모리 시스템 및 데이타 처리시스템의 동작을 수행하는 I/O 장치를 구비한 다수의 시스템 장치를 가지며, 상기 프로그램은 적어도 하나의 응용 프로그램과, 다중 작업 동작 시스템 및 상기 장치의 동작을 제어하는 다수의 BIOS장치 루틴을 포함하며, 상기 응용프로그램은 상기 BIOS 서비스 루틴중 하나를 액세스하는 하드 코드명령을 가지는 데이타 처리 시스템에 있어서, 상기 응용 프로그램이 상기 BIOS 서비스 루틴중 하나를 액세스하도록 시도중인 것을 나타낸 출력신호를 제공하도록 BIOS 시그날링 루틴을 실행하는 상기 하드코드 명령에 응답하는 제 1수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 처리 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 동작 시스템이 이러한 시도된 액세스를 인터셉트 하기 위해, 상기 BIOS 시그날링 루틴으로부터 상기 신호에 응답하는 핸드링 루틴을 포함하는 것을 특징으로하는 데이타 처리 시스템.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 BIOS 시그날링 루틴이 소프웨어 인터럽트 명령을 포함하고, 상기 동작 시스템 핸드링 루틴이 상기 소프트웨어 인터럽트 명령의 실행에 응답하여 실행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 처리 시스템.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 파라미터를 기억하는 제 2수단을 구비하고, 상기 BIOS 시스날링 루틴이 상기 소프트웨어 인터럽트 명령의 실행에 응답하여 상기 동작 시스템에 의해 액세스 되어진 상기 출력신호를 형성한 유일의 파라미터를 상기 제 2수단에 기억시키도록 동작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 처리 시스템.
