제 1 도는 자동차 조향시스템의 회전축에 응용된 본 발명의 토오크센서의 단면도, 제 2 도는 본 발명의 토오크센서의 입력 및 출력지지판 및 자기회로의 분해사시도, 제 3,4 도는 제 1 도의 3-3 및 4-4선 종단면도.

Claims (4)

  1. 회전축(12,14,16)의 주위에 설치ㆍ고정되며, 내부 주연내의 공간(86,88)내에 1차권선(90,94) 및 2차권선(92,96)이 장설되어 있으며, 공기간격(air gap)을 사이에 두고 내부에 편향가능요소(38-44)가 설치된 하나의 환형자기회로(annular magnetic circuit)(30,32)에 의해 특징지워지는, 회전축의 변형에 감응적인 가변투자율 토오크센서(variable permeability torque sensor). 다만 상기 편향가능요소는, 상기 자기회로의 내부 주연부에 관하여 편향되어(휘어져서) 회전축의 변형에 관련하여 공기간격의 평균 칫수를 변화시키고 1차권선이 교류 전류에 의해 여기 되었을때 2차 권선내에 유도된 전압이 변형을 가져온 토오크의 표시를 제공하도록, 회전축의 변형에 관련하여 상대적인 회전을 받는 한쌍의 지지수단(46-60)에 의해 세로로 변위된 지점들에서 지지된다.
  2. 1항에 있어서, 지지수단(46-60)은 회전축(12,14,16)상에 있는 세로로 변위된 지점에 고정되며, 상기 회전축은 토오크가 유도한 회전축의 변형때문에 지지수단에 의해 받는 상대적인 회전을 증대시키기 위하여 이들 지점사이에 연결된 비틀림봉(16)을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 가변투자율 토오크센서.
  3. 제 1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 교류 전류로써 1차권선(90,94)을 여기시키고 2차권선(92,96)내에 유도된 전압을 복조(demo dulate)시켜 변형을 만든 토오크에 관련하여 변환하는 출력신호를 내는 회로(110)을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 가변투자율 토오크센서.
  4. 제 1항에서 3항의 어느항에 있어서, 본질적으로 1차 자기회로와 동일한 2차 환형자기회로(30,32)를 포함하며, 이에 의해 1차권선(90,94)가 교류 전류에 의해 여기 되었을때 2차권선(92,96)내에 유도된 정전압(net voltage)이 변형을 가져온 토오크의 표시를 제공함을 특징으로 하는 가변투자율 토오크센서.
