Claims (3)

  1. 차체전방의 엔진실내에 크랭크축(8)을 좌우 방향으로 배치하고 앞쪽의 실린더열에 이어 지닌 제2배기관(7)을 뒤쪽으로 각기 도출시켜 그것들을 엔진후방에서 합류하게 하여 그 합류부에서 후방으로 배기정화용의 주촉매(23)를 마련한 자동차에 있어서, 제1배기관(6)의 도중에 보조촉매(17)를 개재시켜, 제1배기관(6)의 실린더헤드에서 보조촉매(17)에 이르는 길이와 제2배기관(7)의 실린더헤드에서 전기한 합류부에 이르는 길이와를 대략같은 길이로 구성하여서되는 자동차 엔진의 배기장치.
  2. 특허청구의 범위 제1항에 있어서 제1배기관(6)과 제2배기관(7)과는 각기 여러개의 기통에서 도출되는 기통별의 지관(16a)을 집하하여서되며 각 지관(16a)의 길이는 각기 대략 같은 길이로 구성하여서 되는 자동차엔진의 배기장치.
  3. 특허청구의 범위 제1항에 있어서 보조촉매(17)의 하류측의 제1배기관(6)과 제2배기관(7)과를 엔진 아래쪽에서 병행으로 후방에 연장시키고, 제1배기관(6)의 실린더헤드에서 보조촉매(17)에 이르는 길이와 제2배기관(7)의 실린더헤드에서 합류부에 이르는 길이가 대략 같아진 위치에서 서로 합류시켜서 되는 자동차 엔진의 배기장치.
