Claims (9)

  1. 알칼리 셀루로오즈를 알킬렌 옥사이드 및 에테르화제로 연속적으로 반응시켜 혼합 록시 히드알킬 셀루로오즈 에테르를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 셀루로오즈 분자에 부착될 제 1성분량의 히드록시 알킬그룹을 셀루로오즈에 부착 시키는데 충분한 조건하의 알킬렌옥사이드, (b) 에테르그룹이 셀루로오즈에 부착되는 조건하에, 단계 (a) 및 (c)에서 사용되는 알킬렌 옥사이드와는 다르고 폴리(알킬렌옥사이드) 체인의 형성을 감소시키는 에테르화제, 및 (c) 셀루로오즈에 부착될 제 2성분량의 히드록시알킬 그룹을 셀루로오즈에 부착시키는데 충분한 조건하의 알킬렌옥사이드를 연속적으로 알칼리셀루로즈와 반응시킴을 특징으로 하는 혼합 히드록시 알킬 셀루로오즈의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 알킬렌옥사이드가 에틸렌옥사이드이고 에테르화제가 클로로알칸인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(a) 20내지 85중량%의 셀루로오즈에 부착될 히드록시알킬 그룹이 셀루로오즈에 부착되고, 단계(b) 15내지 80중량%의 셀루로오즈에 부착될 에테르그룹이 셀루로오즈에 부착되며 또한 상기 제 2성분의 히드록시 알콕실 그룹이 셀루로오즈에 부착된 후 셀루로오즈는 셀루로오즈에 부착될 전량의 히드록시 알콕실 그룹을 함유하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(a) 및 (c)에서 알킬렌 옥사이드는 에틸렌옥사이드이고, 상기 에틸렌옥사이드는 알칼리 셀루로오즈중에 연속적으로 첨가하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 알킬렌옥사이드 및 에테르화제를 알칼리셀루로오즈에 동시에 첨가하고, 에테르화제가 알칼리셀루로오즈와 실질적으로 반응하지 않는 조건하에 알칼리셀루로오즈를 알킬렌옥사이드와 반응시킨다음 알칼리 셀루로오즈를 에테르화제와 반응시켜 단계 (a) 및 (c)를 수행하는 방법.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 에테르화제가 클로로메탄이고 혼합 히드록시 알킬 셀루로오즈 에테르가 1.0내지 4.0의 히드록시 에틸 몰치환기와 0.05내지 1.0의 메톡시 치환도를 갖는 히드록시 에틸 메틸 셀루로오즈인 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(c)를 거친 후, 알칼리셀루로오즈와 단계(a) 및 (c)에서 사외되는 알킬렌옥사이드와는 다른 에테르화제와 접촉되고, 상기 접촉이 에테르그룹이 셀루로오즈에 부착되는 조건하에 이루어지는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 단계(b)에서 사용되는 에테르화제가 단계(c)를 거친 후 알칼리 셀루로오즈와 접촉된 에테르화제와는 다른 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 에테르화제가 할로-치환된 지방족 카르복시산인 방법.
