Experimental Example 1: Paraben analysis

In order to confirm the safety verification of the cosmetic composition containing the bokbunja by-product, a paraben analysis of the composition according to Example 1 (50% (w/w) ethanol) was requested from the Korea Institute of Construction and Living Environment.

Experimental Example 2: Evaluation of skin irritation

Experimental Example 4: Microbial analysis

Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus were analyzed for the cosmetics according to Examples 3 to 6.

As shown in Table 7, it was confirmed that three types of microorganisms were not detected in all four types of cosmetics.

Experimental Example 5: Efficacy Analysis

For the cosmetics according to Examples 3 to 6, whitening and wrinkle effectiveness were evaluated.

As shown in Table 11, 0.29% of triethanolamine was detected in Example 5, but the Korean Cosmetics Association discloses that triethanolamine can be used up to 2.5% in non-rinsing products and other cosmetics and personal care products. It was confirmed that safety against harmful substances was secured in all of the cosmetics.
