Claims (22)
- 내성/저항성을 부여하는 벼 계통 RTA2 및 RTA1의 게놈으로부터의 유전자 영역 또는 그의 등가물이 없는 식물에 의해 내성화되는 것보다 더 높은 수준으로 ACC아제 억제제에 대해 내성/저항성인 단자엽 식물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 벼 식물인 단자엽 식물.
- ACC아제 효소의 아미노산 서열의 위치 2096에서 글리신의 세린으로의 치환을 코딩하는 돌연변이인 제1항에서의 벼 계통 RTA1의 유전자 영역.
- 표 1A에 제시된 바와 같은 돌연변이체 뉴클레오티드 및 표 1B에서의 상류 및 하류 플랭킹 영역을 갖는 위치 C1-32083963 및 C1-36386713 사이인 제1항의 벼 계통 RTA2에서의 염색체 번호 1의 유전자 영역.
- 표 1A에 제시된 바와 같은 위치에서의 염색체 1 상의 유전자 돌연변이의 매개자이며, 여기서 ACC아제 효소의 아미노산 서열에서 G2096S 치환을 코딩하는 돌연변이 염색체 5와 조합되는 경우, 동형접합성 형태의 매개자의 존재가 ACC아제 억제제에 대한 상승작용적 저항성/내성을 가져오는 것인 매개자.
- ATCC 수탁 번호 PTA-122646 및 124233으로서 기탁된 제1항의 벼 식물의 종자.

- a. 조합되어 저항성/내성을 부여하는 RTA1 및 RTA2로 지정된 벼의 게놈에서의 영역의 등가물인 유전자 영역을 얻는 단계; 및
b. 유전자 영역을 벼 계통 내로 도입하여 야생형 영역을 대체하는 단계
를 포함하는, 저항성을 부여하는 유전자 영역이 없는 식물에 의해 내성화되는 것보다 유의하게 더 높은 수준으로 ACC아제 제초제 억제제에 대해 저항성인 벼를 생산하는 방법. - 벼 식물을 트랜스진으로 형질전환시키는 단계를 포함하며, 트랜스진이 제9항 또는 제10항의 군으로부터 선택되는 제초제에 대한 저항성을 부여하고, 트랜스진이 RTA1 및 RTA2의 영역 또는 등가물을 갖는 것인, 제초제 저항성 벼 식물을 생산하는 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, ACC아제 코딩 유전자의 프로모터, 종결자, 선택가능한 마커, 또는 다른 도메인 및 염색체 1 상의 RTA2에서의 유전자 영역의 임의의 연계로, 벼를 RTA1 또는 RTA2로부터의 유전자 영역으로 형질전환시키는 단계를 포함하는, 제초제 내성 벼를 생산하는 방법.

- 종자의 대표적 샘플이 ATCC 수탁 번호 PTA-122646 또는 124233 하에 기탁된 것인 벼 종자.
- 제16항의 종자를 성장시킴으로써 생산된 벼 식물, 또는 그의 부분.
- 제15항 또는 제17항의 식물의 화분 또는 배주.
- 제16항의 벼 식물의 생리학적 및 형태학적 특징 모두를 갖는 벼 식물, 또는 그의 부분.
- 제15항 또는 제17항의 벼 식물로부터의 원형질체 또는 세포로부터 생산된 조직 배양물이며, 여기서 조직 배양물의 상기 세포 또는 원형질체는 잎, 화분, 배아, 자엽, 배축, 분열조직 세포, 뿌리, 근단, 암술, 꽃밥, 꽃, 줄기, 포영 및 원추화서로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 식물 부분으로부터 생산되는 것인 조직 배양물.
- 제15항 또는 제17항의 식물로부터 생산된 원형질체.
- 제16항의 벼 식물의 형태학적 및 생리학적 특징 모두를 갖는, 제20항의 조직 배양물로부터 재생된 벼 식물.
