Abstract

Description

끽연물 포장 용기 및 그 제조 방법{CONTAINER FOR PRODUCTS, IN PARTICULAR SMOKING PRODUCTS, AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE CONTAINER}
본 발명은 끽연물 포장 용기 및 그 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
본 명세서에서는 경질의 힌지식 뚜껑 방식의 패킷으로 이루어지는 궐련 용기들에 관하여 설명하지만, 다른 형태의 제품, 특히 연질 궐련 패킷과 궐련 패킷의 카톤에 대해서도 적용가능하다.
공지되어 있는 바와 같이, 경질의 힌지식 뚜껑 방식의 궐련 패킷을 제조하기 위한 기계는 비교적 강성의 재료(판지 또는 플라스틱)로 만들어진 블랭크를 사용하며, 이 블랭크에는 패널의 벽들을 형성하도록 블랭크를 패널과 탭으로 분할하는 다수의 절첩선(crease line)이 마련되어 있다.
각각의 블랭크는 내부 포장지(inner wrap around) 내에 미리 포장된 궐련 군과 조합되며, 블랭크는 고정식 및 가동식 접는 기구(folder)에 의해 접혀진다.
블랭크의 탭과 패널들은 패킷의 벽을 형성하기 위해 서로 겹쳐지도록 설계되고 접착(gumming) 조작에 의해 접합된다.
접착 조작은 접착성 물질을 함유하는 탱크 내로 침지되는 다수의 엠보싱 롤러로 구성되는 접착 장치 또는 다수의 노즐이 설치된 스프레이 접착기에 의해 실행될 수 있다.
특히, 접착성 물질은 기계 부품들과 접촉하게 되어 기계 부품을 엉기게 하고 더럽히는 비닐 아교를 사용하고 잇다. 따라서 이러한 접착성 물질은 포장기를 주기적으로 세척하고 유지보수할 필요가 있다.
종래 기술의 포장기는 잡착성 물질을 건조시키기 위한 채널로 구성되는 아웃피드 장치(outfeed device)를 또한 포함한다.
채널 대신에, 형상 조정 조작(교정)을 채널의 벽을 구성하는 진동판에 의해 실행할 필요가 있을 경우, 연속적으로 이어지고 서로 접촉한 상태의 패킷은 가열처리되어야 한다.
전술한 것으로부터, 전술한 롤러 또는 스프레이 장치의 사용과 관련한 결점을 별도로 하더라도, 접착 장치 및 아교 건조 장치가 포장기의 매우 다루기 힘들고 고가인 부품을 구성하는 것은 명백하다.
본 발명의 목적은 전술한 결점을 해소한 포장 용기 및 포장 용기 제조 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
따라서, 본 발명은 첨부된 하나 또는 그 이상의 특허청구범위에서 특정되는 방법 및 용기를 제공한다.
본 발명을 바람직한 실시예를 도시하는 첨부된 도면들을 참조하여 기술한다.
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 패킷을 제조하기 위한 궐련 포장기의 일부를 개략적으로 도시하는 시시도이다.

도 2와 도 3을 참조하면, 참조부호 1은 종방향 축(A)을 구비한 직육면체 형상의 궐련 패킷을 나타내며, 이 궐련 패킷(1)은 축(A)에 평행하게 배항된 궐련(4)의 군(3)을 둘러싸는 내부 포장지(2), 판지로 제조되고 박스형 본체(6)를 구성하는 외피(outer wrap)(5) 및 박스형 본체(6)를 밀폐시키는 위치와 개방시키는 위치 사이로 이동가능한 힌지식 뚜껑(7)을 포함한다.
내부 부재 또는 내부 프레임(8)은 박스형 본체(6)에 고정되어 있으며, 밀폐 상태에서 뚜껑(7)을 안내하고 보강하기 위한 요소를 형성하는 방식으로 박스형 본체(6)의 외측으로 돌출한다.
도 4와 도 5를 참조하면, 참조부호 9는 패킷(1)을 제조하기 위한 판지 블랭크를 나타낸다.
블랭크(9)는 실질적으로 직사각형이며, 블랭크에는 중앙부(10)와 중앙부(10)의 양 측면상에서 축(A')에 평행하게 대칭적으로 위치된 2개의 측면부(11)로 블랭크를 분할하는 다수의 절첩선이 마련되어 있다.
중앙부(10)는 박스형 본체(6)의 전방 벽을 형성하는 제1 패널(12), 박스형 본체(6)의 단부 벽을 형성하는 제2 패널(13), 박스형 본체(6)의 후방 벽을 형성하는 제3 패널(14), 힌지선(16)에 의해 제3 패널(14)로부터 분리되고 뚜껑(7)의 후방 벽을 형성하는 제4 패널(15), 뚜껑(7)의 단부 벽을 형성하는 제5 패널(17) 및 뚜껑(7)의 전방 벽을 형성하고 단부 패널(18a)이 돌출하는 제6 패널(18)을 포함한다.
각각의 측면 패널(11)은 제1 패널(12)로부터 측방으로 연장하는 플랩(19), 제3 플랩(14)과 제4 플랩(15)으로부터 측방으로 연장하는 플랩(20) 및 제6 패널(18)로부터 측방으로 연장하는 플랩(21)을 포함한다.
각각의 플랩(20)은 힌지선(16)의 2개의 단부로부터 연장하는 빗각 슬릿(oblique slit)(16')들에 의해 2개의 부분으로 분할되어 있다.
각각의 플랩(20)은 그의 대향하는 종방향 단부들에 2개의 종방향 플랩(22, 23)을 가지며, 그 중 플랩(22)은 제2 패널(13)의 각각의 측면 가장자리의 외측에 위치되어 있고, 플랩(23)은 제5 패널(17)의 각각의 측면 가장자리의 외측에 위치되어 있다.
도 6을 참조하면, 참조부호 24는 판지로 제조되고, 연속적인 단계로 접히는 것에 의해 내부 프레임(8)을 형성하는 블랭크를 나타낸다.
블랭크(24)는 2개의 평행한 절첩선을 구비하며, 이 접철선들은 블랭크를 중앙부(25)와 2개의 측면부 또는 플랩(26)으로 분할한다.
블랭크(9)의 외부면(9a)(도 4 참조)과 내부면(9b)(도 5 참조) 및 내부 프레임(8)에는 미리 결정된 영역에 스트립(27)이 제공되며, 이 스트립(27)은 판지 블랭크(9, 24)에 도포되는 접착성 소재의 층(28)과 전기전도성 금속 재료로 제조된 외측 방향으로 향한 층(29)(도 9 참조)을 포함한다.
금속 층(29)은 평평한 금속 막으로 구성되거나 또는 보호성 플라스틱 층 또는 종이 소재, 예를 들면 접착성 물질에 의해 종이 소재의 표면에 대해 접착성을 갖는 금속 입자 또는 금속 분말을 함유하는 종이 소재로 외면이 피복된 금속 막으로 구성될 수 있다.
대안적으로, 도 10을 참조하면, 스트립(27)은 열가소성 재료(예를 들면, 폴리프로필렌)의 2개의 층(30) 사이에 개재된 전도성 또는 금속 층(29)을 포함하거나 또는 전도성 또는 금속 재료의 적어도 하나의 중간 층을 포함하는 하나 이상의 복합 다중 층으로 구성될 수 있다.
더욱 특별하게는, 외부면(9a)에서는, 2개의 플랩(20)에 스트립(27)이 부착되는 반면, 내부면(9b)에서는 2개의 플랩(19), 제1 패널(12)의 중앙 영역, 2개의 플랩(21), 뚜껑(7)의 벽 패널(18)과 이 벽 패널(18)에 인접한 단부 패널(18a)에 스트립(27)이 부착되어 있다,
동일한 방식으로, 블랭크(24)의 중앙부(25)의 외부면에 1개의 스트립(27)이 부착되어 있다.
전술한 바로부터, 접착성 물질에 의해 서로 접합되는 종래 기술에서의 블랭크(9)의 서로 다른 영역과 내부 프레임(8)의 서로 다른 영역에, 금속 층(29)을 포함하는 스트립(27)이 부착된다는 것은 분명하다.
도 1을 참조하면, 스트립(27)이 미리 부착된 블랭크(9)가 컨베이어(도시되지 않음)에 의해, 수평 축(31a)을 중심으로 회전하고 등각도 간격으로 이격된 방사상 구획부(32)가 설치된 공지 형태의 랩핑 휠(wrapping wheel)(31)로 연속적으로 공급되는 포장기의 일부를 비제한적 예시 방식으로 도시한다.
탭(18a)을 제6 패널(18) 내로 접은 후에, 각 블랭크(9)는 인피드(infeed) 스테이션(33)에서, 내부 프레임(8)의 블랭크(24)가 이미 제공된 내부 포장지(2) 내에 포장된 궐련(3) 군에 결합된다.
블랭크(9), 블랭크(24) 및 궐련(3) 군을 포함하는 포장지(2)의 조립체는 랩핑 휠(31)의 구획부(32) 내로 삽입된다.
반시계 방향으로 실질적으로 270°휠이 회전한 후, 각각의 조립체는 휠(31)에 의해 아웃피드 스테이션(34)으로 이송된다.
랩핑 휠(31)의 구획부(31) 내로의 이송과 이웃피드 스테이션(34)으로의 이송 중에, 본 명세서에서 간단하게 언급한 공지된 방법에 따라 일련의 접힘 조작이 실행되며, 그의 최종 결과물은 패킷(1)이다.
더욱 특별하게는, 휠(31)의 회전 중에, 전방 벽 패널(12)은 내부 프레임(8)의 중앙 벽(25)에 대하여 압박되며, 아웃피드 스테이션(34)에서는, 플랩(19)과 플랩(21)이 박스형 본체(6)와 뚜껑(7)의 측면 벽을 형성하는 방식으로 플랩(20)에 대하여 압박된다.
전술한 접는 조작을 실행하는 모든 접는 장치(도시되지 않음)의 하류에는, 스트립(27)이 마련된 블랭크(9)의 부분들과 블랭크(24)의 부분들을 서로 접촉시키는, 블록(35)으로 개략적으로 나타낸 밀봉 수단(sealing means)이 존재하며, 이 밀봉 수단은 금속 층(29) 또는 열가소성 재료(30)의 층을 함께 융합시키는 것에 의해 블랭크(9)와 블랭크(24)의 패널과 플랩들을 서로 안정적으로 고정시킨다.
도 7을 참조하면, 밀봉 수단(35)의 각각은 전자석(37)이 설치된 장치(36)를 포함하며, 전자기장(37')이 외피(5)를 통과할 때, 전자기 유도에 의해 겹쳐진 금속 층(29)이 가열된다.
그 결과, 금속 층(29)들 자체를 함께 융합시키거나(도 9 참조), 또는 금속 층(29)이 개재된 열가소성 재질의 층(30)들을 함께 융합시키거나 또는 (내측 열가소성 층(30)이 접착제(28)와 접촉하지 않는다면) 금속 층(29) 위에 겹쳐진 열가소성 재료의 적어도 외부 층(30)을 함께 융합시키는 것에 의해, 패킷(1)의 패널들과 플랩들이 서로 접합된다.
도 8은 밀봉 수단(35)의 제2 실시예를 도시하며, 융합 열은 전압 및/또는 전류 발생기를 포함하는 전기 회로(38)로부터 얻어지며, 전압 및/또는 전류 발생기는 겹쳐진 스트립(27) 사이에 정전하를 발생시키거나 또는 2개의 겹쳐진 스트립(27) 사이를 통과하는 직류 또는 교류를 발생시킨다.
전술한 경질의 힌지식 뚜껑 방식의 패킷은, 예를 들면 서로 다른 플랩과 패널 배치를 갖는 경질 궐련 패킷, 연질 궐련 패킷 또는 궐련의 카톤과 같은 다른 형태의 용기로 확대될 수 있으며, 더욱 일반적으로, 예를 들면 수입 인지의 적용 및 궐련(3)의 군을 포함하는 내부 포장지(2)의 외피(5)로의 체결과 같은 접착성 재료의 사용을 수반하는 공지된 형태의 포장기에서의 모든 조작으로 확대될 수 있음은 명백하다.
다른 실시예에 있어서, 도 11은 예를 들면 블랭크(9)에 미리 도포된 분산 전도성 안료를 함유하는 아크릴 수지와 같은 금속 바니시(metallic varnish)(40)로 구성될 수 있다.

  1. 블랭크 또는 박판의 포장 재료에서 실행된 다수의 접는 단계 및 블랭크 또는 박판의 미리 결정된 영역에서 실행된 다수의 고정 단계를 포함하는 포장 용기 제조 방법에 있어서,
    상기 고정 단계는 밀봉 조작 단계를 포함하며, 이에 의해 서로 접촉하는 쌍들로 이루어진 미리 결정된 영역이 서로 밀봉되고,

    각각의 밀봉 조작 단계는 미리 결정된 영역을 전기 회로(38) 내에 포함시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 포장 용기 제조 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 포장 용기 제조 방법을 사용하고,
    전기전도성 재료의 적어도 하나의 층(29)이 제공된 스트립(27)은 서로 접합되는 미리 결정된 영역이 융합에 의해 서로 접합되도록 설계된 것을 특징으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 포장 용기.
  5. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 스트립(27)은 금속 층(29)으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 포장 용기.
  6. 제4항 또는 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 스트립(27)은 접착성 층(28)을 포함하며, 이에 의해 스트립(27)은 포장 재료(9, 24)에 부착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 포장 용기.
  7. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 금속 층(29)은 금속 입자를 함유하는 종이 소재로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 포장 용기.
