Abstract
본 발명은 식 100×O/(C+H)로 표시되는, 9.4와 동일/미만의 극성(polarity)을 갖는 하나 이상의 비-방향족 가소제 및 60 내지 85 중량%의 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈기 비율 및 14 내지 40 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올기 비율을 갖는 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 혼합물을 함유하는 필름에 관한 것으로, 여기서 O, C 및 H는 각각의 분자에서의 산소, 탄소 및 수소 원자들의 수를 나타낸다.

Description
본 발명은 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈을 기재로 하는 가소제-함유 필름에 관한 것으로, 상기 필름은 예컨대 라미네이트된 안전 글레이징 내의 중간층 또는 광전지 모듈 내의 접착 필름으로서 적합하다.
라미네이트 안전 글레이징은 일반적으로 두 개의 유리판 및 유리판들을 연결하는 중간 필름으로 이루어진다. 가소제-함유 폴리비닐 부티랄(PVB)은 대개 필름 물질로서 사용되며, 폴리비닐 알코올과 n-부티르알데히드를 반응시킴으로써 얻을 수 있다.
이러한 필름들의 기계적 강도 및 수분 흡수는, 그 중에서도, 가소제의 유형 및 양에 의해 결정된다. 폴리비닐 부티랄은 각각의 가소제에 대해 상이한 흡수 용량을 가지며, 이러한 용량을 넘는 경우 가소제는 다시 삼출된다.
정상 적용 온도(0 내지 40℃) 범위의 연화 온도를 갖는 PVB 필름을 얻기 위해서는, PVB의 화학 성질과 가소제의 화학 성질에 대한 특정 일반 조건, 및 가소제와의 혼합 비율에 대한 특정 일반 조건이 관찰되어야 한다. 한편, 3G8(트리에틸렌 글리콜-비스-2-에틸헥사노에이트)은 PVB 필름에 대한 가소제로서 사용되어 왔다. 이러한 가소제에 대해, EP 0877665는 상이한 잔여 비닐 알코올 함량을 갖는 PVB의 흡수 용량을 기재하고 있다.
제한된 가소제 흡수뿐만 아니라, n-부티르알데히드를 기재로 하는 공지된 PVB 필름들은 비교적 높은 수분 흡수를 가지며, 이는 안전 글레이징에 바람직하지 않은 흐림(cloudiness)을 유도할 수 있다. 광전지 모듈에 사용하는 경우, 높은 수분 흡수는 낮은 체적 저항률(volume resistivity)을 유도할 수 있으며, 이는 바람직하지 않다. 또한, 수분의 흡수는 특히 고온에서, 가소제의 삼출을 유도할 수 있다.
따라서, 바람직하지 않은 수분 흡수에 대응하기 위하여, 필름 제조를 위해 보다 높은 비율의 무극성 가소제를 함유하는 PVB의 혼합물을 사용하는 것이 바람직할 것이다.
놀랍게도, 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈이 폴리비닐 (n)아세탈에 비해 보다 높은 가소제 친화성을 가짐이 발견되었다.
폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈과 가소제로서 디부틸 프탈레이트의 혼합물은 J. Fitzhugh and R Croizer J. Polym. Sci (1951) Vol VIII, p. 225-241에 기재되어 있다. 상기 간행물은 필름의 제조 및 이의 용도와는 관련이 없다. 또한, 상기 예에서는 오직 극성 방향족 가소제들이 사용된다.
가소제-함유 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈은 또한 장식용 유리 부품을 위한 중간-층 필름의 제조에 대해 US 2008/0286542로부터 공지되어 있다. 상기 예에서 라미네이트 안전 글레이징에 대해 기재된 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈은 8 내지 30중량%의 지나치게 낮은 아세탈화도를 가지며, 이에 따라 불충분한 가소제 흡수를 나타낸다. 따라서, US 2008/0286542는 단지 낮은 아세탈화도를 갖는 가소제-함유 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈이 가소제-함유 폴리비닐 (n)아세탈의 두 개의 층들 사이에 라미네이팅되는 다중-층의 필름들을 개시하고 있다.
폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈을 사용하지 않은 필름 라미네이트는 예컨대 WO 2006/102049 A1, WO 2011/078314 A1, WO 2011/081190 A1, WO 2011/024788 A1, US 2007014976 및 JP 2011042552로부터 공지되어 있다. 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 유리한 성질은 상기 문서들에 기재되어 있지 않다.
놀랍게도, 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈이 대응 폴리비닐 (n)아세탈에 비해, 일정한 폴리비닐 알코올 함량(PVA 함량)에서 개선된 가소제 친화성을 가짐이 발견되었다.
본 발명은 9.4와 동일/미만의 극성 [식 100×O/(C+H)로 표시됨]을 갖는 하나 이상의 비-방향족 가소제 (여기서 O, C 및 H는 각각의 분자에서의 산소, 탄소 및 수소 원자들의 수를 나타낸다) 및 60 내지 85 중량%의 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈기 비율과 14 내지 40 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올기 비율을 갖는 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 혼합물을 함유하는 필름에 관한 것이다.
개선된 가소제 친화성은 실온에서 보관하는 동안 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈과의 혼합물로부터 가소제의 보다 낮은 삼출을 초래한다. 가소제의 삼출은 필름 표면에 걸친 가소제 필름의 결과로서 현저해진다.
가소제의 삼출은 폴리머와 가소제 사이의 친화성 부족을 의미한다. 이러한 효과는 "운점(cloud point)"에 의해 결정될 수 있다. 폴리비닐 아세탈과 가소제(예컨대 3G8) 사이의 친화성은, 예컨대 논의되고 있는 가소제 내의 뜨거운 폴리비닐 아세탈 용액을 천천히 냉각시킴으로써 시험된다. 용액이 흐려지는 온도가 낮을수록, 폴리머와 가소제는 보다 친화적이다.
이소-부티르알데히드를 기재로 하는 폴리비닐 아세탈에 대한 운점이 n-부티르알데히드를 기재로 하는 동일 폴리비닐 아세탈의 운점보다 상당히 낮음을 규명할 수 있었다. 이는, 사용되는 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 주어진 PVA 함량을 갖는 경우, 본 발명에 따른 필름이 동일한 PVA 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐-n-부티랄을 기재로 하는 필름보다 많은 가소제를 함유함을 의미한다. 보다 높은 가소제 함량은 필름의 보다 비용 효율적인 제조를 초래하는데, 이는 가소제가 일반적으로 폴리비닐 아세탈보다 덜 비싸기 때문이다.
본 발명에 따른 필름은 어떠한 방향족 가소제도 함유하지 않으며, 즉, 방향족 서브-구조를 갖는 가소제, 예컨대 프탈레이트(특히, 디부틸 프탈레이트) 또는 벤조에이트가 없다.
본 발명에 따른 필름은, 완전히 또는 부분적으로 비누화된 폴리비닐 알코올과 분지형 케토 화합물의 아세탈화에 의해 얻어지는 가소제-함유 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈을 함유한다.
폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈기는, 바람직하게는 하나 이상의 폴리비닐 알코올을 4 내지 10개의 탄소 원자들을 함유하고 케토기에 대한 알파 위치 또는 베타 위치에 하나 이상의 분지를 갖는 하나 이상의 지방족 케토 화합물과 반응시킴으로써 얻어진다. 또한, 아세탈화를 위해 2 내지 10개의 탄소 원자들을 함유하는 비분지형 지방족 케토 화합물도 사용할 수 있다. 그러나, 분지형 케토 화합물의 비율은 분지형 및 비분지형 케토 화합물들의 합의 50 중량% 초과이어야 한다.
폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량은 아세탈화 동안 사용되는 알데히드의 양에 의해 조절될 수 있다. 또한, 복수 개의 알데히드를 사용하여 아세탈화 공정을 수행할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따라 사용되는 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈 중의 폴리비닐 아세테이트 함량은 대응 비율로 가수분해된 폴리비닐 알코올의 사용에 의해 조절될 수 있다. 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 극성은 폴리비닐 아세테이트 함량에 의해 영향을 받으며, 이에 따라 필름의 가소제 친화성 역시 변한다.
폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈은 0.1 내지 15 중량%, 바람직하게는 0.1 내지 8 중량%, 및 특히 0.1 내지 3 중량%의 바람직한 폴리비닐 아세테이트기 비율을 갖는다. 0.5 내지 2 중량%의 폴리비닐 아세테이트기 비율이 가장 바람직하다.
또한, 필름이 4 내지 8 몰%, 예컨대 4.1 내지 7.9 몰%, 또는 5 내지 7 몰%의 평균 폴리비닐 아세테이트기 비율을 갖는 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈을 포함하는 것도 본 발명의 범위 내에 있다.
가교된 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈, 특히 가교된 폴리비닐 (이소)부티랄의 사용 역시 가능하다. 적합한 가교 방법은 예컨대 EP 1527107 B1 및 WO 2004/063231 A1(카복실기를 함유하는 폴리비닐 아세탈의 열적 자가-가교), EP 1606325 A1(폴리알데히드로 가교된 폴리비닐 아세탈) 및 WO 03/020776 A1(글리옥실산으로 가교된 폴리비닐 아세탈)에 기재되어 있다.
필름의 가공을 손상시키지 않기 위해, 각각의 비가교된 물질에 비해 25 내지 200%까지 증가된 용액 점도를 갖는 가교된 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 사용이, 특히 바람직하다. 예컨대, 비가교된 물질은 이를테면 80mPas의 용액 점도를 가질 수 있고, 가교된 물질은 100 내지 250mPas의 용액 점도를 가질 수 있다. WO 03/020776 A1에 따른, 폴리비닐 알코올과 전술한 케토 화합물 및 디알데히드 또는 트리알데히드, 예컨대 글루타르디알데히드의 혼합물의 공-아세탈화(co-acetalisation)는 그 자체를 가교된 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 제조에 제공한다.
폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈을 제조하기 위해, 폴리비닐 알코올은 물에 용해되며, 산 촉매를 부가하여 케토 화합물, 예컨대 이소-부티르알데히드로 아세탈화된다. 침전된 폴리비닐 아세탈이 분리되고, 중성 세척되며, 임의적으로 알칼리성 pH로 설정된 수성 매질에 현탁된 다음, 다시 중성 세척되고 건조된다.
본 발명의 범위 내에서, 폴리비닐 알코올은 순수한 형태로 또는 상이한 중합도 또는 가수분해도를 갖는 폴리비닐 알코올들의 혼합물의 형태로 사용될 수 있다.
본 발명의 필름에 사용되는 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈은 3000 미만, 바람직하게는 200 내지 2800, 가장 바람직하게는 900 내지 2500의 평균 중합도를 가질 수 있다.
일반적으로, 가소제와 폴리비닐 아세탈간의 친화성은 가소제의 극 성질(polar nature)이 낮아짐에 따라 감소한다. 따라서, 비교적 극성이 높은 가소제는 비교적 극성이 낮은 가소제에 비해 폴리비닐 아세탈과 더 친화적이다. 택일적으로, 극성이 낮은 가소제의 친화성은 아세탈화도가 높아짐에 따라 증가하며, 즉 폴리비닐 아세탈 중의 하이드록실기의 수가 적어지고 이에 따라 극성이 낮아짐에 따라 증가한다.
아세탈기의 분지로 인해, 본 발명에 따른 필름들은 직쇄 알데히드를 기재로 하는 종래의 시스템과 비교하여 상이한 연화점을 갖는다.
본 발명에 따른 필름은, 바람직하게는 -11 내지 24℃의 연화점 Tg을 갖는다.
수분 함량뿐만 아니라, 연화점 또한 폴리비닐 아세탈을 기재로 하는 필름의 전기 체적 저항률에 대해 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 필름은, 동일한 가소제 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐 (n)아세탈을 기재로 하는 필름과 비교하여 주어진 수분 및 온도에서 더 높은 연화점과 또한 더 높은 전기 체적 저항률을 갖는다.
이는 광전지 모듈에 사용하기에 유리한데, 이는 전기 체적 저항률이 상기 모듈의 수명(longevity)에 중요하기 때문이다.
본 발명에 따른 필름은 하기 비-방향족 가소제들 중 하나 이상으로부터의 가소제들 또는 가소제 혼합물을 함유할 수 있다:

상기 식에 따르면, 트리에틸렌글리콜-비스-2-에틸부티레이트는 11.11의 극성을 가지며, 폴리비닐(이소)아세탈과의 혼합물로 있으며, 적합하지 않은 필름의 제조에 대한 것이다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 필름은 당업계의 통상의 기술자에게 공지된 추가의 첨가제, 예컨대 잔여량의 물, UV 흡수체(absorbers), 항산화제, 접착 레귤레이터(adhesion regulator), 형광 발광제(optical brighteners), 안정제(stabilisers), 염료, 가공 보조제, 유기 또는 무기 나노입자, 화성 규산(pyrogenic silicic acid), 및/또는 표면-활성 물질을 함유할 수 있다.
본 발명의 범위 내에서, 접착 레귤레이터는 가소제-함유 폴리비닐 아세탈 필름의 유리 표면에의 접착이 조절될 수 있는 화합물들을 의미하는 것으로 이해된다. 이러한 유형의 화합물들은 당업자에게 공지되어 있다; 유기산의 알칼리 또는 알칼리 토금속 염, 예컨대 포타슘/마그네슘 아세테이트는, 이러한 목적을 위해 실제로 자주 사용된다.

폴리비닐 아세탈을 기재로 하는 필름의 제조 및 조성은, 이론적으로, 예컨대 EP 185 863 B1, EP 1 118 258 B1, WO 02/102591 A1, EP 1 118 258 B1 또는 EP 387 148 B1에 기재되어 있다.
제조 방법에 상관없이, 본 발명에 따른 필름은, 조도가 15 내지 150μm의 Rz, 바람직하게는 15 내지 100μm의 Rz, 보다 바람직하게는 20 내지 80μm의 Rz, 및 특히 40 내지 75μm의 Rz인, 한쪽 면 또는 보다 바람직하게는 양쪽 면 상에 적용된 표면 구조를 갖는다.
본 발명에 따른 필름은 또한 유리/필름/플라스틱 라미네이트의 제조에, 예컨대 PET 층에 대한 유리판의 영구적 결합에 매우 적합하다. 두 개의 플라스틱 판들의 결합, 예컨대 폴리카보네이트 또는 PMMA로 구성된 두 개의 플라스틱 판들의 결합은, 또한 본 발명에 따른 필름으로 수행될 수 있다.

PVB의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량 및 폴리비닐 아세테이트 함량을 ASTM D 1396-92에 따라 측정하였다. 아세탈화도(=부티랄 함량)는 ASTM D 1396-92에 따라 측정된 폴리비닐 알코올 함량 및 폴리비닐 아세테이트 함량의 합(100이 되어야 함)으로부터, 남아 있는 부분으로서 계산할 수 있다. 중량%에서 몰%로의 변환은 당업자에게 공지된 공식에 의해 달성된다.
가소제 함량
필름의 가소제 함량은 필름을 에탄올에 용해시키고, 그 후의 정량 기체 크로마토그래피에 의해 규명하였다. 개별적인 서브-필름들의 가소제 함량을 밝히기 위해, 다중-층 필름은 대략 1주의 조절 기간 이후에 다시 분리되어야 하며, 즉, 가소제 이동이 대부분 멈추면, 개별적으로 측정된다.
유리 전이 온도
-50℃ 내지 150℃의 온도 간격으로 10K/분의 가열 속도를 사용하여 DIN 53765에 따라 시차 주사 열량측정법(DSC)에 의해 부분적으로 아세탈화된 폴리비닐 알코올의 유리 전이 온도를 측정하였다. 제 1 가열 램프(ramp), 그 다음 냉각 램프, 그 다음 제 2 가열 램프를 사용하였다. 유리 전이 온도의 위치는 DIN 51007에 따라 제 2 가열 램프와 관련된 측정 커브 상에 확립되었다. DIN 중심점(Tg DIN)은 측정 커브에 대한 반(half) 단차(step height)에서의 수평선의 교차점으로서 정의되었다. 단차는 유리 전이 이전 및 이후의 측정 커브의 베이스 라인에 대한 중간 접선의 두 개의 교차점들의 수직 거리에 의해 정의되었다.
운점
운점은 실험될 가소제 내의 폴리비닐 아세탈의 용해도에 의해 정의되었다. 이를 위해, 폴리비닐 아세탈(8g)을 대응 가소제(100g) 내에 현탁시켰으며, 투명한 용액을 얻을 때까지 일정한 교반으로 가열시켰다. 투명함이 얻어지자, 용액을 제 2 교반기 상에서 실온으로 천천히 냉각시켰다. 운점은 상기 용액으로 확장되어 있는 온도계에 의해 시각적으로 결정할 수 있다.
필름의 인장 성질 측정
200㎜/분의 속도로 ISO 527에 따라 인장 시험 기계(TIRA)를 사용하여 필름의 인열 강도 값들을 측정하였다.
필름의 체적 저항률
정의된 온도 및 주위 습도(23℃, 및 85% RH 및 23% RH)에서 DIN IEC 60093에 따라 필름의 체적 저항률(전기 체적 저항률)을 측정하고, 그 다음 필름을 이러한 조건 하에 24시간 이상 컨디셔닝 하였다. 측정을 수행하기 위해 페트로닉 게엠베하(Fetronic GmbH)로부터의 유형 302 132의 플레이트 전극 및 앰프로브(Amprobe)로부터의 ISO-Digi 5kV 저항률 측정 장치를 사용하였다. 시험 전압은 2.5 kV이었으며, 시험 전압의 적용 및 측정된 값의 결정 사이의 대기 기간은 60초였다. 측정 전극의 평평한 플레이트와 필름 사이의 충분한 접촉을 보장하기 위해, DIN EN ISO 4287에 따라 측정된 필름의 표면 조도 Rz는 10μm를 초과해서는 안되며, 즉 PVB 필름의 본래 표면은 가능한 한 저항률을 측정하기 이전에 열적 리코이닝(recoining)에 의해 매끄러워져야 할 수 있다.
필름의 물 함량 또는 수분 함량
필름의 물 함량 또는 수분 함량은 칼 피셔(Karl Fischer) 방법에 의해 측정하였다. 습한 조건 하에 습윤 거동을 시뮬레이션하기 위해, 필름을 23℃ 85% RH 및 23% RH에서 24시간 동안 미리 보관하였다.
가소제의 삼출
가소제의 삼출을 23℃ 및 50%의 상대 습도에서 1주일간 필름을 보관한 후에 시각적으로 확인하였다.
실시예
1) 20.3 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐 (n)아세탈
100중량부의 폴리비닐 알코올 Mowiol 28-99 (평균 중합도 1700을 갖는 쿠라라이 유럽 게엠베하의 상품)을 90℃로 가열시키면서 975중량부의 물에 용해시켰다. 교반시키면서, 57.5중량부의 n-부티르알데히드를 40℃의 온도에서 첨가하고, 75중량부의 20% 염산을 12℃의 온도에서 첨가하였다. 그 혼합물을 폴리비닐 부티랄(PVB)의 침전 후에 73℃로 가열시키고 이 온도에서 2시간 동안 교반시켰다. 실온으로 냉각시킨 후에, PVB를 분리해내고, 물을 이용하여 중성세척하고, 건조시켰다. 20.3중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량 및 0.9중량%의 폴리비닐 아세테이트 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐(n)부티랄 (n-PVB)를 얻었다.
2) 11.9 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐 (n)아세탈
100중량부의 폴리비닐 알코올 Mowiol 30-92(평균 중합도 2100을 갖는 쿠라라이 유럽 게엠베하의 상품)을 90℃로 가열시키면서 975중량부의 물에 용해시켰다. 교반시키면서, 66.6중량부의 n-부티르알데히드 및 0.06 중량부의 글루타르디알데히드를 40℃의 온도에서 첨가하고, 100중량부의 20% 염산을 12℃의 온도에서 첨가하였다. 그 혼합물을 폴리비닐 부티랄(PVB)의 침전 이후에 69℃로 가열시키고, 이 온도에서 2시간 동안 교반시켰다. 실온으로 냉각시킨 후, PVB를 분리해내고, 물로 중성 세척시켰으며, 건조시켰다. 11.9중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량 및 8.8중량%의 폴리비닐 아세테이트 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐(n)부티랄 (n-PVB)를 얻었다.

실시예 2에 따라 합성을 수행하였으며, 여기서 n-부티르알데히드의 양은 다양했다. 56.8 및 55.8중량부의 n-부티르알데히드를 각각 사용하였다. 이에 따라, 각각 14.1 중량% 및 15.1 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐(n)부티랄 (n-PVB)을 얻었다.

100중량부의 폴리비닐 알코올 Mowiol 28-99(쿠라라이 유럽 게엠베하의 상품)를 90℃로 가열시키면서 975중량부의 물에 용해시켰다. 교반시키면서, 67.4중량부의 n-부티르알데히드 및 0.055중량부의 글루타르디알데히드를 40℃의 온도에서 첨가하고, 100중량부의 20% 염산을 12℃의 온도에서 첨가하였다. 폴리비닐 부티랄(PVB)의 침전 후에, 혼합물을 69℃로 가열시키고 이 온도에서 2시간 동안 교반시켰다. 실온으로 냉각시킨 후에, PVB를 분리해내고, 물로 중성 세척시켰으며, 건조시켰다. 14.5 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량 및 1.1 중량%의 폴리비닐 아세테이트 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐(n)부티랄 (n-PVB)을 얻었다.

실시예 5에 따라 합성을 수행하였으며, 여기서 n-부티르알데히드의 양은 다양했다. 62중량부의 n-부티르알데히드를 사용하였다. 이에 따라, 16.0 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐(n)부티랄 (n-PVB)을 얻었다.

실시예 8에 따라 합성을 수행하였으며, 여기서 이소-부티르알데히드의 양은 다양했다. 67.6, 66.6 및 60.8중량부의 이소-부티르알데히드를 각각 사용하였다. 이에 따라, 각각 15.6 중량%, 16.4 중량% 및 17.9 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐(이소)부티랄 (i-PVB)을 얻었다.

100중량부의 폴리비닐 알코올 Mowiol 28-99(쿠라라이 유럽 게엠베하의 상품)를 90℃로 가열시키면서 975중량부의 물에 용해시켰다. 교반시키면서, 65중량부의 이소-부티르알데히드 및 0.055중량부의 글루타르디알데히드를 40℃의 온도에서 첨가하고, 170중량부의 20% 염산을 12℃의 온도에서 첨가하였다. 폴리비닐 부티랄(PVB)의 침전 이후, 혼합물을 69℃로 가열시키고 이 온도에서 1시간 동안 교반시켰다. 실온으로 냉각시킨 후에, PVB를 분리해내고, 물로 중성 세척시켰으며, 건조시켰다. 15.8 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량 및 0.9 중량%의 폴리비닐 아세테이트 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐(이소)부티랄 (i-PVB)을 얻었다.

실시예 14에 따라 합성을 수행하였으며, 여기서 이소-부티르알데히드의 양은 다양했다. 60.8, 59.4, 57.5 및 55.4중량부의 이소-부티르알데히드를 각각 사용하였다. 이에 따라, 각각 18.2 중량%, 19.4 중량%, 20.5 중량% 및 22.3 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올 함량을 갖는 폴리비닐(이소)부티랄을 얻었다.
필름의 제조
표 1에 따른 조성의 필름을 압출에 의해 제조하였다.
표 1에서, 본 발명에 따른 필름이, n-부티르알데히드를 기재로 하는 비교 필름들에 비해, 일정한 PVA 및 가소제 함량을 갖는 경우 보다 높은 연화점을 가짐을 확인할 수 있다. 비슷한 PVA 함량인 경우의 가소제 친화성은, 실시예 6 및 7 및 2 및 3에 도시된 바와 같이 본 발명에 따른 필름에서 더 우수하다.
표 2는 필름에 관한 물리적 데이터를 보여준다. 이는, 본 발명에 따른 필름이 일정한 PVA 함량 및 가소제 함량으로 더 낮은 수분 흡수를 가짐을 보여준다. 또한, 본 발명에 따른 필름이 n-부티르알데히드를 기재로 하는 비슷한 필름보다 훨씬 큰 전기 체적 저항률을 가짐을 명확히 볼 수 있으며, 이는 태양광 모듈(solar modules)에 사용하기에 유용하다.
본 발명에 따른 필름의 기계적 성질은, 가소제 및 PVA 함량을 통하여 폴리(이소)아세탈의 사용에 의해 용이하게 조절될 수 있다. 실시예 1 및 7에서, 일정한 PVA 및 가소제 함량을 사용하여 거의 동일한 인열 강도가 얻어짐을 확인할 수 있다.

혼합물에서 하기 중량 비율을 사용하였다:
3G8 : DBEA = 10 : 1; DINCH : DINA = 1 : 1.

Claims (6)
- 식 100×O/(C+H)로 표시되는 9.4와 동일/미만의 극성(polarity)을 갖는 하나 이상의 비-방향족 가소제 및 60 내지 85 중량%의 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈기 비율과 14 내지 40 중량%의 폴리비닐 알코올기 비율을 갖는 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 혼합물을 함유하는 필름으로서, 여기서 O, C 및 H는 각각의 분자에서의 산소, 탄소 및 수소 원자들의 수를 나타내는, 필름.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈이 200 내지 2800의 평균 중합도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 필름.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 디-2-에틸헥실 세바케이트(DOS), 디-2-에틸헥실 아디페이트(DOA), 디-2-에틸헥실 프탈레이트(DOP), 트리에틸렌 글리콜-비스-2-프로필 헥사노에이트, 트리에틸렌 글리콜-비스-i-노나노에이트, 디-2-부톡시에틸 세바케이트(DBES), 트리에틸렌 글리콜-비스-2-에틸헥사노에이트(3G8), 및 1,2-사이클로헥산 디카복실산 디이소노닐 에스터(DINCH)의 군으로부터 선택된 비-방향족 가소제가 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필름.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈의 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈기가 하나 이상의 폴리비닐 알코올을 4 내지 10개의 탄소 원자들을 함유하고 케토기에 대해 알파 위치 또는 베타 위치에 하나 이상의 분지를 갖는 하나 이상의 지방족 케토 화합물과 반응시킴으로써 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 필름.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폴리비닐 (이소)아세탈이 0.1 내지 15 중량%의 폴리비닐 아세테이트기 비율을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 필름.
- 자동차 산업, 윈드스크린(windscreens), 건축 분야, 파사드 부품(facade components)에서의, 또는 광전지 모듈의 제조를 위한, 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 필름의 용도.
