Claims (10)
- 바에 접촉하여 주행하는 폴리머 필름의 접촉부 직전에 액 고임부를 형성하여 도포액을 도포하는 바 도포 장치에 있어서,상기 바의 하측에 형성되어, 그 바를 자유롭게 회전할 수 있도록 지지하는 지지 부재와,상기 지지 부재에 대해 상기 폴리머 필름의 주행 방향의 상류측에 형성되어, 그 지지 부재와의 사이에 도포액을 공급하여 상기 액 고임부를 형성하는 제 1 슬릿을 가짐과 함께, 상기 액 고임부의 도포액이 넘치는 둑을 갖는 제 1 블록과,상기 지지 부재에 대해 상기 폴리머 필름의 주행 방향의 하류측에 형성되어, 그 지지 부재와의 사이에 도포액을 공급하는 제 2 슬릿을 갖는 제 2 블록을 구비함과 함께,상기 액 고임부에는, 상기 폴리머 필름에 대해 평행하게 정류판을 구비하고, 또한 그 정류판과 상기 폴리머 필름의 간극이 0.5㎜ ∼ 5.0㎜ 의 범위로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바 도포 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 정류판의 폴리머 필름 주행 방향 길이가 5.0㎜ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 바 도포 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 정류판의 상기 폴리머 필름에 대향하는 면은, 진직도가 상기 폴리머 필름의 폭방향에 있어서 0.5㎜/1m 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 도포 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 바와 상기 정류판의 간극이 1.0㎜ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 바 도포 장치.
- 바에 접촉하여 주행하는 폴리머 필름의 접촉부 직전에 액 고임부를 형성하여 도포액을 도포하는 바 도포 장치에 있어서,상기 바의 하측에 형성되어, 그 바를 자유롭게 회전할 수 있도록 지지하는 지지 부재와,상기 지지 부재에 대해 상기 폴리머 필름의 주행 방향의 상류측에 형성되어, 상기 폴리머 필름에 도포액을 공급하는 제 1 슬릿을 갖는 제 1 블록과,상기 지지 부재에 대해 상기 폴리머 필름의 주행 방향의 하류측에 형성되어, 그 지지 부재와의 사이에 도포액을 공급하는 제 2 슬릿을 갖는 제 2 블록을 구비함과 함께,상기 제 1 블록이 상기 폴리머 필름에 대향하는 대향면은, 폴리머 필름에 평행하고, 또한 그 대향면과 상기 폴리머 필름의 간극이 0.5㎜ ∼ 5.0㎜ 의 범위로서, 상기 폴리머 필름과 상기 제 1 블록의 대향면 사이에 상기 액 고임부를 형성하 는 것을 특징으로 하는 바 도포 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 대향면의 폴리머 필름 주행 방향의 상기 제 1 슬릿보다 하류측의 길이가 5.0㎜ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 도포 장치.
- 제 5 항 또는 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 대향면은, 진직도가 상기 폴리머 필름의 폭방향에 있어서 0.5㎜/1m 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 바 도포 장치.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 바와 상기 제 1 블록의 간극이 1.0㎜ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 바 도포 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 바 도포 장치를 사용하여, 주행하는 폴리머 필름에 도포액을 도포하는 것을 특징으로 하는 도포 방법.
- 폴리머 필름에 형성된 배향막에 러빙 처리하는 공정과,상기 러빙 처리된 배향막 상에 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 바 도포 장치를 사용하여 액정 디스코틱 화합물을 함유하는 도포액을 도포하는 공정과,도포된 상기 도포액을 건조시켜 경화함으로써 광학 이방성층을 형성하는 공정을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 필름의 제조 방법.
