Abstract

Description

개선된 게임용 토큰{IMPROVED GAMING TOKEN}
쁠라끄(plaque)는 카지노에서 사용되는 고가치 게임용 토큰이며, 더 낮은 가치의 게임용 칩보다 크고, 더 비싸게 보일 필요가 있다. 관습적으로 쁠라끄는 수작업으로 만들어진다. 인쇄된 투명 필름(clear film)에 반사성 메쉬(reflective mesh) 및 폴리에스테르의 층이 적층되며, 상기 인쇄된 투명 필름의 형태는, 상기 인쇄된 투명 필름 안쪽의 층에 의해 생성되는 장식 표면을 갖는 껍질(shell)을 형성하도록 정해진다. 그 후 2개의 껍질은 최 외부의 장식적 표면과 함께 합쳐진다. 상기 껍질들 사이의 공간이 플라스틱 결합제로 충전되어, 쁠라끄를 생성할 수 있다. 쁠라끄를 위조하는 것이 어려울 만큼 장식 효과는 정교하다. 이는 비싸고, 시간 소모적인 공정이다.

WO 2004/009366은 게임용 칩을 장식하는 압력 패드 방법에서 사용되기 위한 투명 잉크를 기재하고 있다.
원격 제어기로부터 판독되고 업데이트될 수 있는 데이터를 저장할 수 있는 트랜스폰더(transponder)를 갖는 게임용 칩이 호주 특허 제699025호에서 알려져 있 으며, 제700269호가 상기 셀, 또는 오목부 둘레에 게임용 토큰이 몰드-성형되는, 셀, 또는 오목부에 전자 소자가 내장되는 게임용 칩 구성을 기재하고 있다. 본 발명의 사상은 식별가능하고, 카지노 주변을 이동할 때 추적될 수 있는 게임용 칩을 갖는 것이다. 식별 데이터가 업데이트될 수 있도록, 상기 트랜스폰더는 판독하고 기록하기에 적합하다. USA 특허 제6659875호는 트랜스폰더 및 안테나가 게임용 토큰의 라벨 아래에 위치하는 더 단순한 구성에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 목적은 고품질의 외관을 갖는 게임용 쁠라끄의 덜 비싼 생산 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
이러한 목적을 위해, 본 발명은 게임용 쁠라끄(gaming plaque)를 형성하는 방법을 제공하며, 상기 방법에서, 장식적 디자인(decorative design)이 투명 폴리머 필름 상으로 인쇄되며, 그 후, 상기 투명 폴리머 필름은 외부 쁠라끄 표면으로 열성형되며, 그 후, 2개의 쁠라끄 표면은 상기 표면들의 후면 사이에 위치하는 적합한 폴리머와 함께 사출 성형되어 게임용 쁠라끄가 형성될 수 있다.
본 발명은, 적정한 장식적 잉크를 이용하는 실크 스크린 및 리소그래픽 인쇄 기법과 같은 정교한 인쇄 공정에 의해 게임용 쁠라끄에 대해 선호되는 장식적 효과가 얻어질 수 있다는 발견을 기초로 하였다. 공지된 스크린 인쇄 및 리소그래피 인쇄 기법을 이용하여, 모조하기 어려운 정교하고 상세한 디자인이 생성될 수 있다. 이로 인해서, 쁠라끄를 형성하는 공정이 단순화될 수 있다. 대부분의 쁠라끄는 외곽부 둘레에 돌출된 리브(rib)를 갖는 외부 표면을 가지며, 상기 장식적 인쇄 필름은 적합한 표면 윤곽으로 진공, 또는 열성형되는 것이 바람직하다. 그 후, 형성된 표면 중 2개가 사출 성형 다이(die)로 삽입되며, 표면들 사이의 공간을 충전하고 쁠라끄를 형성하기 위한 적정한 폴리머가 사출된다. 쁠라끄 표면들 사이의 폴리머에 의해 쁠라끄의 에지가 도색될 수 있다. 일부 예시에서, 쁠라끄의 가치(value)나 출처(origin)를 식별하기 위한 가시적인 코드를 제공하기 위해, 에지에 줄무늬가 포함된다. 이들 줄무늬는 사출 성형(injection mould) 동안 형성된 에지의 오목부로 추가될 수 있다.

a) 2개의 표면을 갖는 몸체 부분과,

c) 상기 쁠라끄 필름 사이에 위치하거나, 상기 쁠라끄 필름 중 하나의 후면에 부착되는 안테나로 연결되는 전자 식별 및 데이터 소자
를 포함한다.
12-15㎒ 범위에서 동작가능한 전자 칩은, 보다 작은 안테나와 적은 동작 전력을 필요로 하기 때문에, 선호된다. 또한 상기 전자 칩은 게임용 칩을 형성하기 위해 필수적인 성형 동작에 충분히 견고하도록 만들어질 수 있다.
본 발명에 따르는 쁠라끄를 형성하는 방법은, 쁠라끄 필름의 인쇄 중에 시각적 효과가 생성되기 때문에 더 신속하고, 쁠라끄를 제조할 때 노동량이 감소되기 때문에 비용이 덜 든다.

도면에서 도시되어 있는 쁠라끄(plaque)는 투명 수지 물질로 이루어진 2개의 짝을 이루는 껍질(11, 12)로 구성된다. 각각의 껍질(11, 12)의 후부 상에 장식적 필름(decorative film)(13, 14)이 존재한다. 폴리우레탄, 또는 이와 유사한 수지의 접착 충전제 층(15)에 의해, 각각 부착된 장식적 필름을 갖는 2개의 껍질은 함께 접착된다. RFID 칩, 또는 그 밖의 다른 전자 식별 태그(17)가 상기 장식적 필름(13, 14) 중 하나의 표면으로 부착된다.
에지 플랜지(edge flange)(20) 내에 로케이션 리브(location rib)를 갖는 수 껍질(male shell)(11)과, 에지 플랜지(21) 내에 상보적 홈(groove)을 갖는 껍질(12)을 형성하도록, 몰드에서 쁠라끄의 껍질의 형태가 정해진다. 이들은, UV 안 정성 강도, 인성 및 긁힘 방지를 위해 처리될 수 있는 아크릴, 또는 폴리스티렌, 또는 폴리카보네이트 등의 임의의 적합한 투명 수지로 형성된다.
장식적 필름(13, 14)은 진주모와 같은 배경을 흉내내기 위해 홀로그래픽 코팅제로 코팅되며, 그 후 요망 이미지로 인쇄되는 것이 바람직하다. 그 후, 필름(13, 14)의 장식적 면이 껍질(11, 12)의 내부 표면으로 부착된다. 투명 접착제, 예를 들어, 폴리우레탄, 또는 메탄아크릴레이트를 이용하여 만들어지는 것이 바람직하다. 무선 주파수(radio frequency)에 의해 어드레싱되는 것이 바람직한 전자 식별 장치가 필름(13, 14) 중 하나의 후면에 부착된다.

수지(15)가 경화된 후, 레이저가 선호되지만 임의의 적합한 절단 기법을 이용하여 라인(19)을 따라 절단함으로써, 에지 플랜지(20, 21)가 제거된다. 이는 쁠라끄를 위해 바람직한 착색된 에지 효과(coloured edge effect)를 발생시킨다.
광의 입사각이 변할 때 색채 효과가 제공되도록 껍질(11, 12)을 형성하기 위해 사용되는 유리구슬을 투명 수지에 포함하는 쁠라끄의 또 다른 보강법이 본 발명의 범위 내에 있다. 보안을 위해, 패턴은 위조하기 힘들도록 홀로그램 패턴으로 암호화될 수 있다. 마찬가지로, 쁠라끄의 진위 여부(authenticity)가 체크될 수 있도 록, 껍질(11, 12), 또는 충전제(15)에서 사용되는 수지에, 적은 양의 나노 미량 원소(nano trace element)를 포함시키기 위해, 나노 미량 기술(nano trace technology)이 사용될 수 있다.

Claims (5)

  1. 게임용 쁠라끄(gaming plaque)를 형성하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 장식적 디자인(decorative design)이 투명 폴리머 필름 상에 인쇄되고, 그 후, 상기 투명 폴리머 필름은 외부 쁠라끄 표면으로 열성형되며, 그 후 2개의 쁠라끄 표면은, 표면들의 후면 사이에 위치하는 적합한 폴리머와 함께 사출 성형(injection mould)되어 게임용 쁠라끄가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 게임용 쁠라끄를 형성하기 위한 방법.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 각각의 쁠라끄의 표면은, 대응하는 쁠라끄 표면의 에지 플랜지(edge flange)와 짝을 이루는 에지 플랜지(edge flange)를 포함하며, 상기 쁠라끄 표면들 사이의 공간이 충전된 후, 상기 에지 플랜지들은 제거되는 것을 특징으로 하는 게임용 쁠라끄를 형성하기 위한 방법.
  3. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 전자 식별 소자가 상기 쁠라끄 표면들 중 하나의 내부 면에 부착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 게임용 쁠라끄를 형성하기 위한 방법.
  4. a) 2개의 표면을 갖는 몸체 부분,
    b) 각각의 표면 상에 위치하는 장식 인쇄되는 쁠라끄 필름(plaque film),
    c) 상기 쁠라끄 필름들 사이에 위치하거나, 상기 쁠라끄 필름 중 하나의 후면에 부착되는 안테나로 연결되는 전자 식별 및 데이터 소자
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 게임용 쁠라끄.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 전자 식별 소자는 12-15㎒ 범위의 주파수에서 데이터를 송신하고 수신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 게임용 쁠라끄.
