- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 색 요소가 색 요소 형성 재료를 포함하는 기능액을 상기 색 요소 영역에 토출하여 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 색 요소가 상기 제 1 격벽부 및 상기 제 2 격벽부와 거의 동등한 막 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판.
- 제 1 항에 기재된 컬러 필터 기판과,상기 컬러 필터 기판의 복수의 색 요소 영역에 대응하는 복수의 화소 전극을 갖는 대향 기판과,상기 컬러 필터 기판과 상기 대향 기판에 의해 사이에 끼워진 액정을 구비하고,상기 컬러 필터 기판과 상기 대향 기판의 상기 액정에 접하는 표면에, 상기 액정의 분자를 상기 표면에 대해서 대략 수직 방향으로 배향시키는 배향막이 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극에는, 상기 제 2 격벽부에 의해 분할된 상기 복수의 영역에 대응하는 위치에 상기 제 2 격벽부에 병행하여 상기 컬러 필터 기판을 향해서 개구하는 개구부가 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 4 항 또는 제 5 항에 기재된 액정 표시 장치를 탑재한 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 기기.
- 기판 위에 복수의 색 요소 영역을 구획하도록 제 1 격벽부를 형성하는 동시에 상기 복수의 색 요소 영역을 각각 복수의 영역으로 분할하도록 제 2 격벽부를 형성하는 격벽부 형성 공정과,상기 복수의 색 요소 영역에 다른 색 요소 형성 재료를 포함하는 복수 종의 기능액을 토출하여 복수 종의 색 요소를 형성하는 색 요소 형성 공정과,상기 제 1 격벽부와 상기 제 2 격벽부 및 상기 색 요소를 덮도록 투명 전극을 형성하는 전극 형성 공정과,상기 투명 전극에 돌기부 또는 개구부를 형성하는 공정을 구비하고,상기 격벽부 형성 공정에서는, 상기 제 2 격벽부를 상기 돌기부 또는 상기 개구부가 연장되는 방향에 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 색 요소 형성 공정에서는, 상기 제 1 격벽부 및 상기 제 2 격벽부에 대해서 상기 색 요소가 거의 동등한 막 두께가 되도록 상기 기능액을 토출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항 또는 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 격벽부 및 상기 제 2 격벽부의 적어도 정상부측의 표면이 발액성을 갖도록 처리하는 표면 처리 공정을 더 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항 또는 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 기판의 표면이 발액성을 갖도록 처리하는 발액 처리 공정과,상기 제 1 격벽부를 형성하는 영역과 상기 제 2 격벽부를 형성하는 영역에 대응하는 상기 기판의 발액 처리된 표면이 친액성을 갖도록 처리하는 친액 처리 공정을 더 구비하고,상기 격벽부 형성 공정에서는, 친액 처리된 상기 기판의 표면에 격벽부 형성 재료를 포함하는 기능액을 토출하여 상기 제 1 격벽부 및 상기 제 2 격벽부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항 또는 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 격벽부가 형성된 상기 기판의 표면이 발액성을 갖도록 처리하는 발액 처리 공정과,상기 제 2 격벽부를 형성하는 영역에 대응하는 상기 기판의 발액 처리된 표면이 친액성을 갖도록 처리하는 친액 처리 공정을 더 구비하고,상기 제 2 격벽부를 형성할 때에는, 친액 처리된 상기 기판의 표면에 격벽부 형성 재료를 포함하는 기능액을 토출하여 상기 제 2 격벽부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 친액 처리 공정에서는, 적어도 상기 제 2 격벽부를 형성하는 영역에 대응하는 상기 기판의 발액 처리된 표면에 광을 조사하여 친액성을 부여하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 발액 처리 공정에서는, 발액성을 갖는 박막을 상기 기판의 표면에 형성하고,상기 색 요소 형성 공정에서는, 적어도 상기 색 요소 영역에 잔존하는 상기 박막을 제거하는 공정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 기판의 제조 방법.
- 복수 종의 색 요소를 갖는 컬러 필터 기판과, 상기 복수 종의 색 요소에 대응하는 복수의 화소 전극을 갖는 대향 기판과, 상기 컬러 필터 기판과 상기 대향 기판에 의해 사이에 끼워진 액정과, 상기 컬러 필터 기판과 상기 대향 기판의 상기 액정에 접하는 표면에, 상기 표면에 대해서 상기 액정의 분자를 대략 수직 방향으로 배향시키는 배향막을 구비한 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법으로서,제 7 항에 기재된 컬러 필터 기판의 제조 방법을 이용하여 상기 컬러 필터 기판을 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
