Claims (7)
- 회전축을 중심으로 회전하는 피가공 워크피스(workpiece)와, 상기 워크피스의 회전축과 동일 방향 및 상기 워크피스의 회전축과 직교하는 방향으로, 상기 워크피스와 상대 이동 가능한 회전 공구를 갖고, 상기 회전 공구는 상기 워크피스의 회전축과 직교하는 방향에 있어 상기 워크피스의 회전축 중심으로부터 상기 워크피스의 외주부까지의 일부 또는 모든 영역에서, 소정 전송 피치로 일정 방향으로 이동하여 상기 워크피스를 비축대칭 비구면으로 가공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 비구면 가공 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 회전 공구의 위치를, 상기 워크피스의 가공점에 세운 법선 방향으로 상기 회전 공구의 선단 회전 중심축이 위치하도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 비구면 가공 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 회전 공구에 의한 가공을, 상기 워크피스의 회전축과 직교하는 방향에서의 상기 워크피스의 회전 중심과 상기 회전 공구의 선단의 거리가 0 또는 0 근방 으로부터, 또는 상기 워크피스의 외주 가장자리부와 상기 회전 공구 선단의 거리가 0 또는 0 근방으로부터, 시작하도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 비구면 가공 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 회전 공구는 회전축을 중심으로 회전하는 숫돌인 것을 특징으로 하는 비구면 가공 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 회전 공구는 회전축을 중심으로 회전하는 절삭 도구(cutting tool)인 것을 특징으로 하는 비구면 가공 방법.
- 상기 워크피스를 소망 형상에 근사하는 형상으로 형성하는 개략 절삭 공정(rough cutting step)과,상기 개략 절삭 공정에 이어서, 상기 워크피스에 청구항 1 내지 5 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 비구면 가공 방법을 이용하여 가공함으로써, 상기 워크피스를 소망 형상으로 형성하는 마무리 절삭 공정(finish cutting step)을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 비구면 형성 방법.
- 청구항 6에 기재된 비구면 형성 방법이 채용된 비구면 가공 장치.
