Claims (5)
- 적어도 하나의 캠샤프트를 보유한 내연 기관 엔진용 가변 캠샤프트타이밍 페이저에 있어서;a)구동력을 수용하기 위한 외부 환경을 보유한 하우징과;b)하우징 안에 동일축으로 위치한 캠샤프트에 연결하기 위한 로터와,c)하우징에 의해 형성된 챔버안의 다수의 베인과;d)페이저의 회전축을 따라서 위치되고 오일 압력의 소스에 연결된 스풀 밸브로 구성되고,상기 하우징 및 로터는 상기 하우징 안에서 챔버를 어드밴스 챔버(advance chamber)와 리타드 챔버 (retard chamber)로 분리하는 적어도 하나의 베인을 형성하고,적어도 하나의 CTA 베인은 캠 토크로 작동되고 적어도 하나의 다른 OPA 베인이 오일 압력으로 작동되는 상기 다수의 베인을 포함하고,상기 어드밴스 챔버와 리타드 챔버는 CTA 베인에 의해 형성되며, 적어도 상기 어드밴스 챔버는 OPA 베인에 의해 형성되고,상기 스풀 밸브는, 어드밴스 위치에서의 유체가 CTA 베인에 의해 형성된 리타드 챔버로부터 CTA 베인에 의해 형성된 어드밴스 챔버까지, 그리고 오일의 공급부로부터 OPA 베인의 어드밴스 챔버까지 루트를 정한 어드밴스 위치와 ;리타드 위치에서의 유체가 CTA 베인에 의해 형성된 어드밴스 챔버에서부터 CTA 베인에 의해 형성된 리타드 챔버까지 루트를 정한 리타드 위치를 포함하는 가변 캠샤프트 타이밍 페이저.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 오일 압력에 의해 제어되고 반경 방향 보어에 미끄럼 가능하게 위치되는 적어도 하나의 베인에서, 상기 반경 방향 보어에서 유체-밀착(fluid-tight) 결합되도록 채택된 직경을 보유한 바디와, 상기 하우징에 의해 형성된 수용 홀에 결합하도록 채택된 하우징을 향하여 있는 내부 단부를 구비하는 록킹 핀을 추가로 포함하며, 상기 록킹 핀은 상기 내부 단부가 하우징에 의해 형성된 수용 홀에 결합되는 록크된 위치로 부터 내부 단부가 하우징에 의해 형성된 수용 홀에 결합되지 않는 언록크된 위치까지 보어에서 반경 방향으로 이동 가능한 가변 캠샤프트 타이밍 페이저.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 하우징에 의해 형성된 수용 홀은 최대 리타드 정지 또는 최대 어드밴스 정지에 위치되는 가변 캠샤프트 타이밍 페이저.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 가압된 오일 소스 안의 체크 밸브를 추가로 포함하는 가변 캠샤프트 타이밍페이저.
- 페이저가 로우 캠 토셔널에서 작동하는 방법에 있어서,a)구동력을 받아들이기 위한 외부 환경을 보유한 하우징과;하우징 안에 동일축으로 위치한 캠샤프트에 연결하기 위한 로터와,하우징에 의해 형성된 챔버안의 다수의 베인과;페이저의 회전축을 따라서 위치되고 오일 압력의 소스에 연결된 스풀 밸브로 구성되고,상기 하우징 및 로터는 상기 하우징 안에서 챔버를 어드밴스 챔버(advance chamber)와 리타드 챔버 (retard chamber)로 분리하는 적어도 하나의 베인을 형성하고,적어도 하나의 CTA 베인은 캠 토크로 작동되고 적어도 하나의 다른 OPA 베인이 오일 압력으로 작동되는 상기 다수의 베인을 포함하고,상기 어드밴스 챔버와 리타드 챔버는 CTA 베인에 의해 형성되며, 적어도 상기 어드밴스 챔버는 OPA 베인에 의해 형성되는, 가변 캠 타이밍 페이저를 제공하는 단계와;b) 유체가 CTA 베인에 의해 형성된 리타드 챔버로부터 CTA 베인에 의해 형성된 어드밴스 챔버까지, 그리고 상기 엔진 rpm이 높을 때에 가압 오일의 소스로 부터 OPA 베인의 어드밴스 챔버까지 루트가 정해짐으로써, 오일 압력 작동이 페이저의 작동을 돕도록 상기 페이저의 스풀 밸브를 어드밴스 위치로 이동시키는 단계; 및c) 유체가 CTA 베인에 의해 형성된 어드밴스 챔버에서부터 엔진 rpm이 낮을 때에 CTA 베인에 의해 형성된 리타드 챔버까지 루트가 정해짐으로써, 상기 페이저가 주로 캠 토크로 작동되도록 상기 스풀을 리타드 위치로 이동시키는 단계를 포함하는 페이저가 로우 캠 토셔널에서 작동하는 방법.
