Claims (23)

- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 일차 입자가 55 내지 85nm 범위의 평균 길이 및 8 내지 19nm 범위의 평균 폭을 갖는 것인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 입자의 70% 이상이 55 내지 85nm 범위의 길이를 갖는 것인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제4항에 있어서, 입자의 70% 이상이 60 내지 80nm 범위의 길이를 갖는 것인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제1항 내지 제5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 일차 입자의 입자 부피직경 중앙값이 28 내지 32nm의 범위인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제1항 내지 제6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 이차 입자의 입자 부피직경 중앙값이 32 내지 38nm의 범위인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 이차 입자의 16부피% 이하가 24nm 미만의 부피직경을 갖는 것인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제1항 내지 제8항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 이차 입자의 84부피% 이상이 60nm 미만의 부피직경을 갖는 것인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.

- 제1항 내지 제10항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 이차 입자중에 존재하는 일차 입자의 평균 수가 1.3 내지 3 범위인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제1항 내지 제11항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 입자가 소수성인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제12항에 있어서, 입자가 유기 발수성 코팅을 포함하는 것인 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제1항 내지 제13항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 입자가 (i) 65 내지 95중량% 범위의 이산화티탄, (ii) 2 내지 12 중량% 범위의 무기 코팅, 바람직하게는 알루미나, 및 (iii) 4 내지 18중량%의 유기 코팅, 바람직하게는 지방산 및(또는) 그의 염 (이들 모두는 입자의 총 중량에 대한 %이다)을 포함하는 금속 산화물 또는 분산액.
- 제2항 내지 제14항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 유기 매질 및 45중량% 이상의 금속 산화물 입자를 포함하는 분산액.
- 제2항 내지 제14항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 수성 매질 및 35중량% 이상의 금속 산화물 입자를 포함하는 분산액.
- 일차 입자의 평균 길이가 55 내지 85nm의 범위이고, 일차 입자의 평균 폭이 8 내지 19nm의 범위이며, 일차 입자의 70% 이상이 55 내지 85 nm 범위의 길이를 갖는 입상 금속 산화물.
- 524nm에서의 흡광 계수(E524)가 0.2 내지 0.7 l/g/cm 범위이고, 450nm에서의흡광 계수(E450)가 0.5 내지 1.5 l/g/cm이고, 360nm에서의 흡광 계수(E360)가 5 내지 8 l/g/cm이고, 308nm에서의 흡광 계수(E308)가 40 내지 60 l/g/cm이고, 최대 흡광 계수(Emax)가 45 내지 75 l/g/cm이고, λ(max)가 260 내지 290nm인, 임의로 소수성인 입상 금속 산화물.
- 제18항에 있어서, 광회색화 지수(photogreying Index)가 1 내지 10의 범위인 금속 산화물.
- 제1항 내지 제19항중 어느 한 항에 정의된 금속 산화물 또는 분산액을 포함하는 썬스크린 제품.
- 제20항에 있어서, 피부에 도포될 때 투명하고 0.5 내지 2.5의 백도(whiteness) 변화(ΔL)를 갖는 썬스크린 제품.
- 제20항 또는 제21항에 있어서, 10% 내지 80% 범위의 백도 지수를 갖는 썬스크린 제품.
- 감소된 백도를 가진 썬스크린을 제조하는데 있어서 제1항 내지 제19항중 어느 한 항에 정의된 금속 산화물 또는 분산액의 용도.
