Abstract
본 발명은 금속 도선(21) 또는 적어도 은층을 포함하는 박층 스택(20)과 같은 금속 요소가 제공되는 투명 판재에 관한 것으로, 이러한 투명 판재의 특성은 근 적외선에서 파동의 투과를 방지하는 것이다.
Description
본 발명은 플라즈마 스크린에서의 상기 판재의 용도에 대해 더욱 상세하게 기술될 것이다. 그렇지만, 그러한 응용 분야에 본 발명이 한정되는 것은 아니며, 상기 판재가 임의의 전자기 차폐 벽에 삽입되는 것이 가능하다.
플라즈마 스크린은 2개의 유리 시트 사이에 포집된 플라즈마 발생 가스 및 스크린의 후방 시트의 내부면에 위치되는 발광 분자(luminophores)를 포함한다. 스크린을 작동시킬 때, 플라즈마 발생 가스의 입자와 발광 분자 사이의 상호 작용으로 인하여 800 내지 1000㎚ 사이의 근 적외선에 위치된 전자기파 방사가 발생되는데, 이러한 전자기파는 주로 스크린의 전면을 통하여 전파(propagation)되며, 이러한 전자기파의 전파는 특히, 근 적외선 영역에 위치된 장비 및 적외선으로 제어되는 장비, 예를 들어 원격 제어에 의해 제어되는 장비의 매우 까다로운 고장 원인이 될 수 있다.
더욱이, 모든 전자 장비와 같이, 플라즈마 스크린은 마이크로 컴퓨터, 휴대용 전화기 등과 같은 다른 디바이스에 대해 스퓨리어스 방사(spurious radiation)를 발생시킬 수 있는 드라이버를 갖는데, 이러한 디바이스는 스퓨리어스 방사와 간섭을 일으켜서는 안된다.
이러한 방사의 전파를 멈추게 하거나 적어도 줄이기 위한 하나의 해결책은 전자기 차폐능을 제공하는 투명하며 금속화된 창을 스크린의 전면에 붙여 위치시키는 것이다.
한 가지 알려진 타입의 창은 2개의 PVB 시트(sheet)로 구성되며, 이 시트의 사이에 접착제 결합에 의해 금속 도선을 엮어서 형성되는 균일 금속 메쉬(mesh)가 유지되는데, 상기 금속 도선은 대체로 수직인 2개의 방향을 향하며 두께가 약 50㎛이고 메쉬의 개구부의 평방 면적은 약 0.12mm2이다. 그러나, 넓은 스크린 크기에 대한 이러한 해결책은 만족스럽지 않은데, 이는 특히, PVB의 약간의 가요성(flexibility)과 적층 단계 도중 금속 섬유를 인장시켜야 하는 필요성 때문으로, 이는 적층물의 개구부가 뒤틀리는 문제를 일으킬 수 있다.
다른 해결책은 종래의 포토리쏘그래피 기술(photolithographic technique)로 금속 메쉬를 유리 판재에 직접 증착시키는 것과 이 판재를 스크린의 전면에 결합시키는 것이다.

그러므로 본 발명의 목적은 특히 플라즈마 스크린을 통한 적외선 영역에서의 전자기파의 투과에 대한 단점을 방지하는 것이고, 전자기 차폐 문제에 대한 해결책으로 금속 메쉬가 제공될 때 만족스런 광 투과를 달성하면서 무와레 문제를 해결하는 것이다. 이를 위하여, 금속 성분을 포함하는 투명 판재가 제공되는데, 이 투명 판재의 특성과 특징은 근 적외선에서의 전자기파의 투과를 방지한다.
본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따라서, 적외선 영역에서 특징이 있고 상기 판재에 가장 가까운 금속층의 두께(t1) 및 다른 금속층의 두께(t2)를 구비하는 적어도 2개의 금속층을 포함하는 박층 스택(20)이 제공되는데, 두께의 비(t1/t2)는 0.8 내지 1.1이고, 바람직하게는 0.9 내지 1인, 특히 유리로 된 투명 판재에 있어서,
금속층의 전체 두께(t1+t2)는 27 내지 30㎚이고, 바람직하게는 28 내지29.5㎚이며, 보호 금속층은 적외선 영역에서의 특성을 구비하는 각 층 바로 위에서 각 층과 접촉하여 위치되고, 판재의 스퀘어(square)당 저항이 1.8Ω미만인 것을 특징으로 한다.
보호 금속층은 니오븀(Nb) 또는 티타늄(Ti)에서 선택되는 단일 금속을 베이스로 하는 것이 바람직하다.
이러한 구성으로 인하여 첫째로, 약 10㎚의 종래 기술의 두께에 비해 금속의 두께를 증가시킴으로써 전자기 차폐능을 증진시키고 동시에 근 적외선 영역의 투과를 감소시켜서 근 적외선 영역에서의 전파가 최대 15%, 대부분 10%미만으로 되는 것이 가능하고, 둘째로 층 두께의 대칭성에 의해 적어도 65% 및 바람직하게는 67%를 초과하는 만족스런 광 투과(TL) 특성을 얻는 것이 가능하다. 플라즈마 스크린에 이러한 판재를 응용하는 것에 있어서, 유리 표면적이 확실히 큰 건설 산업에서의 통상적인 경우와 같이, 금속층 두께의 대칭성은 관찰자가 특정 입사각으로 스크린을 봤을 때 스크린 외부 반사시의 시각적 형상에 대해 아무런 방해를 일으키지 않는다.
박층 스택은 바람직하게 다음의 순서로 나타날 수 있다.
유리/Si3N4/ZnO/Ag/Ti/Si3N4/ZnO/Ag/Ti/ZnO/Si3N4.
TiO2층은 Si3N4층이 판재 상에 놓여진 후 부가될 수 있으므로, 판재의 전면에서의 반사시 색을 "씻어내고" 그리하여 우수한 비색 표현(colorimetric rendering)을 갖는 중성 심미적 제품(neutral aesthetic product)을 만든다.
본 발명의 판재는 또한 매우 바람직하게도 강인화 또는 굽힘 열처리를 거친다.
하나의 특성에 따라서, 박층은 서로 연결되고 전기 장비에서 판재를 사용할 경우 접지된다.
본 발명의 제 2 실시예에 따라서, 특히 유리로 된 투명 판재는 메쉬의 형태로 제공되는 금속 도선망(a network of metal wires)을 포함하는데, 상기 금속 도선은 두께(t) 및 폭(w)에 따라 증착되고, 상기 판재는 도선의 두께(t)가 80㎚ 내지 12㎛이고 바람직하게는 200㎚ 내지 1㎛이며, 도선의 폭(w)은 10 내지 60㎛이고 바람직하게는 15 내지 35㎛인 것을 특징으로 한다.
하나의 특성에 따라, 금속 도선은 구리 또는 은으로 만들어진다.
다른 특성에 따라, 도선은 다수의 개구부(O)를 형성하도록 서로 엮어지는데, 개구부의 크기는 판재의 표면에 걸쳐 균일하지 않으며, 이는 무와레 효과를 현저히 약화시키는 것을 가능하게 한다. 개구부 측의 외형선의 길이는 250과 750㎛ 사이에서 변할 수 있다.
판재의 바람직한 투명도 수준에 대한 만족스런 광학 특성을 유지하면서 결합된 판재 및 스크린에 개선된 전자기 차폐 특성을 부여하기 위하여 개구부의 표면적에 대한 금속 도선의 두께 및 폭을 적절하게 선택하는 데 있어서 주위가 기울여질 것이다.
개구부의 크기와 금속 도선의 두께 및 폭 사이에서 만족스런 절충이 이끌어짐으로 인하여 30 내지 1100㎒의 전자기파가 적어도 30㏈로 약해질 수 있다. 이러한 목적 때문에, 도선 증착의 표면적에 대한 개구부의 전체 표면적의 비는 65%를 초과하고 판재는 2%미만의 확산 투과율(diffuse transmission)을 나타낸다.
무와레 효과를 더욱 감소시키기 위하여, 대체로 평행 6면체 형태인 판재는 금속 도선이 판재의 에지에 대하여 일정한 각도로 위치되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
금속 도선을 포함하는 판재를 제조하는 기술은 특히 포토리쏘그래피 기술을 이용한다. 포토리쏘그래피 기술은 매우 얇은 도선, 특히 폭이 40㎛미만인 도선을 제조하는 것을 가능케 하는데, 이로써 관찰자에게는 도선이 사실상 보이지 않게 된다. 다른 장점은 다양한 개구부의 모양 및 크기를 얻도록 완전히 조절할 수 있다는 것인데, 이는 2개의 PVB 시트 사이에 보유되는 메쉬에 대해 사용되는 것과 같은 엮는 기술에 의해서는 불가능한 것이다. 게다가, 도선의 크기는 판재의 확산 투과 즉, 관찰자가 볼 수 있는 스크린이 흐릿해지는 것에 대해 직접적인 영향을 갖기 때문에, 도선이 얇게 되면 유리하게도 흐릿해지는 효과를 줄인다.

그리하여, 금속층의 전체 두께(t1+ t2)는 27 내지 30㎚이다. 스크린을 향한 적외선의 바람직한 반사를 얻기 위하여, 즉, 가능한 한 최소한의 방사가 판재를 통과하도록 하기 위하여, 금속층 전체 두께가 바람직하게도 28 내지 29.5㎚이 되도록 선택될 것이고, 그럼으로써 방사의 투과율은 800㎚의 파장에 대해 13%를 초과하지 않을 것이다.

유리 판재(1)의 외부면(12)에는 반사 방지 코팅(30)이 제공될 수 있다.
스크린의 전면에 판재(1)를 부착하는 것은 예를 들어 양면 접착제(40)에 의해 수행된다. 접착제는 판재의 내부면(11)의 주변 에지에 위치되거나 그렇지 않으면 대체로 판재의 전체 내부면(11)에 대해 펴지는 필름의 형태로 제공된다.
본 발명의 제 2 실시예에서, 금속 성분(21)은 Cu 또는 Ag로 된 금속 도선망으로 구성되는데, 이 도선망은 메쉬의 형태로 제공된다. 금속 도선은 알려진 포토리쏘그래피 기술을 이용하여 유리 판재(10)의 내부면(11)에 증착된다. 외부면(12)은 반사 방지 코팅(30)을 수용할 수 있다. 스크린의 전면에 판재를 부착하는 것도위에서 설명한 바와 같이 접착 필름(40)을 사용하여 수행될 수 있다.
금속 도선은 바람직하게 대체로 수직한 2개의 방향을 따라 위치되고 다수의 개구부(O)(도 8)를 한정한다. 도선은 직선일 수 있거나, 정현파형(sinusoidal shape)일 수 있거나 임의의 다른 형상을 나타낼 수 있다.
전자기 차폐능은 메쉬 금속의 체적을 증가시킴으로써 강화된다. 이를 위하여, 도선의 폭(w) 및/또는 두께(t)를 변경시킬 수 있다. 메쉬 전체의 도선은 동일한 폭과 동일한 두께를 가질 수 있으나, 판재의 지점마다 이러한 특성을 변경시킬 수도 있다. 포토리쏘그래피법은 금속 증착의 두께와 폭을 완벽하게 조절할 수 있게 하고 버스 바(bus bars)와 같은 추가의 구성 요소를 용이하게 제조할 수 있게 하기 때문에 특히 유용하다. 포토그라비어(photogravure) 또는 포토에나멜링(photoenamelling)과 같이 포토리쏘그래피 기술과 동등한 방법이 사용될 수 있다.
도선의 폭(w)은 10 내지 60㎛이다. 도선의 두께(t)는 80㎚ 내지 12㎛이다.
판재에서 금속의 부피 증가, 즉 금속 도선의 폭 및/또는 두께의 증가는 전자기 차폐능을 증가시킨다. 전자기 차폐능은 개구부 표면적이 줄어드는 것에 비례하여 보다 만족스럽게 된다. 그러나, 적외선이 투과되는 전체 개구부 표면적을 고려할 필요가 있는데, 상기 전체 개구부 표면적은 메쉬의 개구부(O)를 합친 전체 표면적과 일치한다. 전체 개구부 표면적은 광 투과율에 직접적으로 관여하는데, 판재를 통하여 투명 방식으로 스크린을 판독하기 위하여 상기 전체 개구부 표면적은 충분히 넓어야만 하기 때문이다.
결과적으로, 적절한 광 투과율을 유지하면서 적절한 전자기 차폐능을 제공하기 위하여, 전체 개구부(O) 표면적과 증착된 금속의 체적 사이에 절충이 있어야만 한다.
도 9는 20과 1100㎒ 사이의 주파수에 대해서 정방형 개구부(O)가 있는 여러 가지 메쉬 모델에 의해 생성되는 감쇠 곡선을 dB 단위로 재연한 것인데, 2개의 마주보는 도선의 내부 에지를 분리시키는 간격으로 정의되는 정방형 개구부의 측부는 250 내지 750㎛이다.

시스템(M5 및 M6)이 광 투과율(80% 초과) 및 광을 적게 산란시키는 것(2% 미만)에 대해서 만족스럽지만, 전자기 차폐(도 9에 의하면 단지 30dB 미만 또는 대략 30dB의 감쇠)에 대해서는 좋은 성능을 나타내지 않는다.
모델(M1)은 차폐에 대해 매우 좋은 성능을 갖지만(약 55dB의 감쇠), 광 분산 즉, 이미지를 흐릿하게 하는 현상을 만드는 데, 이는 9% 정도로 매우 높다.
대조적으로, 모델(M7)은 400㎒ 정도의 진동수에 대해 30dB를 초과하고 50dB에 근접하는 차폐능 및 산란율이 약 1.5%이면서 80%를 초과하는 광 투과율을 갖는다.
결과적으로, 도선의 크기에 대한 바람직한 값은 도선의 폭(w)이 15 내지 35㎛이고 두께(t)가 200㎚ 내지 1㎛이다. 더욱이, 확산 투과율이 2%미만일 때 개구부(O)의 크기는 개구부의 광 투과율 또는 대안적으로 개구부 전체 표면적의 비율, 즉 도선의 증착 표면적(즉, 광의 투과가 차단되는 표면적)에 대한 광 투과를 위한 개구부 표면적이 65%를 초과하는 것으로 한정된다.

무와레 효과의 감소를 최적화시키기 위하여, 메쉬의 개구부(O)는 가변적인 크기를 가지며, 그 결과 개구부 표면적도 가변적이다. 서로의 도선 간격이 크거나 작기 때문에 얻어지는 이러한 개구부의 불균일성으로 인하여 무와레 효과를 현저히 줄일 수 있다.

은으로 된 금속층의 존재로 인하여 이미 존재하는 금속에 일정량의 금속이 메쉬를 통하여 부가된다. 은으로 된 층은 적외선 영역에서 파장의 투과를 정지시키는 데 특히 적절하므로, 이러한 배열은 스크린의 전자기 차폐능을 향상시킨다.
2개의 유리 시트(10,50)의 외부면에는 바람직하게 반사 방지 코팅(30)이 제공된다.
적층 창은 클립 조임 수단에 의해 스크린에 부착되고, 이와 별다른 구별없이 창의 전면은 메쉬(21)를 포함하는 판재 또는 층의 스택(20)이 제공되는 판재에 해당된다.

설명된 다양한 실시예의 금속 성분, 즉, 금속층 및/또는 금속 메쉬는 전기 전도성 수단에 의해 모든 금속 성분을 접지하기 위하여 접지에 연결된 스크린의 금속 지점과 연결된다.
상술한 바와 같이 본 발명은 고 파장의 적외선에 작용할 수 있는 금속 성분을 포함하는 전자기 차폐용 판재로 이용될 수 있다.
Claims (23)
- 특히, 유리로 된 투명 판재로서,적외선 영역에서 작용 특성이 있고 상기 판재에 가장 가까운 금속층의 두께(t1) 및 다른 금속층의 두께(t2)를 구비하는 적어도 2개의 금속층을 포함하는 박층 스택(a stack of thin layers)(20)이 제공되는데, 상기 두께의 비(t1/t2)는 0.8 내지 1.1이고, 바람직하게는 0.9 내지 1인, 특히 유리로 된 투명 판재에 있어서,- 금속층의 전체 두께(t1+t2)는 27.5 내지 30㎚이고, 바람직하게는 28 내지 29.5㎚이며,- 보호 금속층이 적외선 영역에서의 작용 특성을 구비하는 각 금속층 바로 위에서 각 금속층과 접촉하여 위치되고,- 상기 판재의 스퀘어(square)당의 저항이 1.8Ω미만인 것을특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 보호 금속층은 니오븀(Nb) 또는 티타늄(Ti)에서 선택되는 단일 금속을 베이스로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 박층 스택(20)은 강인화(toughening) 또는 굽힘(bending) 열처리를 거치는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 판재는 65%를 초과하는 광 투과율(TL)을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 판재는 근 적외선에서 최대 15%의 투과율을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 박층 스택은 다음의 순서 즉,유리/Si3N4/ZnO/Ag/Ti/Si3N4/ZnO/Ag/Ti/ZnO/Si3N4로 나타내어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 내지 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 박층 스택은 다음의 순서 즉,유리/Si3N4/TiO2/ZnO/Ag/Ti/Si3N4/ZnO/Ag/Ti/ZnO/Si3N4로 나타내어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 메쉬(21)의 형태로 제공되는 금속 도선(wire) 망(network)을 포함하고, 상기금속 도선은 두께(t) 및 폭(w)에 따라 증착되는, 특히, 유리로 된 투명 판재로서,상기 도선의 두께(t)는 80㎚ 내지 12㎛이고, 바람직하게는 200㎚ 내지 1㎛이며, 상기 도선의 폭(w)은 10 내지 60㎛이고, 바람직하게는 15 내지 35㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 투명 판재는 상기 투명 판재의 한 면에서 상기 금속 메쉬(21)와 접하도록 위치된 박층 스택(20)을 포함하는 다른 투명 판재(10)와 결합되고, 상기 스택은 적어도 하나의 은(silver) 타입의 전도성 금속층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 투명 판재는 상기 금속 도선을 포함하는 마주보는 면에서, 적어도 하나의 은 타입의 전도성 금속을 포함하는 박층 스택을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 8항 내지 제 10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 금속 도선은 서로 엮여서 다수의 개구부(O)를 구성하는데, 상기 개구부의 크기는 균일하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 8항 내지 제 11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 도선의 증착 표면적에 대한 상기 개구부의 전체 표면적의 비는 65%를 초과하고, 2%미만의 확산투과율(diffuse transmission)을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 11항에 있어서, 개구부 측의 외형선의 길이는 250과 750㎛ 사이에서 변할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 8항 내지 제 13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 판재는 대체로 평행 6면체 형태를 나타내고, 상기 금속 도선은 상기 판재의 에지에 대하여 일정한 각도로 위치된 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 8항 내지 제 14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 금속 도선은 포토리쏘그래피 기술(photolithographic technique) 또는 포토에나멜링 기술(photoenamelling technique)로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 8항 내지 제 15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 금속 도선은 구리 또는 은으로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 9항 또는 제 10항에 있어서, 상기 박층 스택은 적외선 영역에서 특징이 있고 상기 판재(10)에 가장 가까운 금속층의 두께(t1) 및 다른 금속층의 두께(t2)를 갖는 적어도 2개의 금속층을 포함하는데, 상기 두께의 비(t1/t2)는 0.8 내지 1.1이고, 바람직하게는 0.9 내지 1이며, 금속층의 전체 두께(t1+t2)는 27.5 내지 30㎚이고, 바람직하게는 28 내지 29.5㎚인 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 17항에 있어서, 상기 박층 스택은 다음의 순서 즉,유리/Si3N4/ZnO/Ag/Ti/Si3N4/ZnO/Ag/Ti/ZnO/Si3N4로 나타내어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 내지 제 18항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 열 가소성 물질 시트(60)는 상기 판재의 표면 전체와 결합되고 상기 금속 도선 또는 상기 박층 스택을 커버하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 내지 제 19항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 금속 도선 또는 상기 금속층은 서로 전기적으로 연결되고, 전기 장비에서 상기 판재를 사용할 경우에 접지되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 또는 제 8항 또는 제 9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 금속 성분을 포함하는 면과 마주보는 상기 판재의 면은 반사 방지 코팅을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 투명 판재.
- 제 1항 내지 제 21항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 판재를 임의의 전자기 차폐벽에 사용하는 방법.
- 플라즈마 스크린으로서,제 1항 내지 제 21항 중 어느 한 항에 기재되고, 상기 스크린의 전면에 위치된 적어도 하나의 판재를 포함하는 플라즈마 스크린.
