Claims (13)
- 이동국과 디지털 셀룰러 원격 통신 네트워크 간의 멀티 레이트 연결을 위한 코딩 모드를 선택하는 방법에 있어서,상기 이동국의 관점으로부터 리소스 소모를 줄이는 것이 바람직할 때, 상기 이동국은 그 위치에서 업링크 코딩 모드를 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 이동국의 관점으로부터 파워 소모를 줄이는 것이 바람직한 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 이동국은 그의 최대 전송 파워를 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 새로운 코딩 모드의 데이터 레이트가 현재 코딩 모드의 데이터 레이트보다 낮은 결과로서 상기 리소스 소모가 감소될 수 있도록, 새로운 코딩 모드가 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 이동국은 현재 유효한 전송 포맷 세트의 전송 포맷들 내에 표현되는 AMR 모드들 중 하나를 선택할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 다른 상황들에서, 상기 네트워크는 코딩 모드들에 대한 결정을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 무선 네트워크 제어기 내의 승인 제어 기능이 상기 코딩 모드들에 대한 적어도 일부분의 결정을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 방법은:- 부하의 현재 레벨에서의 블록킹 비를 추정하고, 그리고- 상기 추정된 비가 미리 결정된 한계치 보다 높은 경우에는, 새로운 베어러들에 대한 디폴트 AMR 모드를 낮추는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 무선 네트워크 제어기 내의 부하 제어 기능은 상기 코딩 모드들에 대한 적어도 일부의 결정을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 방법에서 현재 베어러들의 비트 레이트들은 새로운 베어러를 위한 공간을 생성할 수 있도록 상기 무선 네트워크 제어기 내의 상기 부하 제어 기능에 의해 감소되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 무선 네트워크 제어기 내의 외부 루프 부하 제어 기능이 상기 코딩 모드들에 대한 적어도 일부분의 결정을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 방법에서 업링크 방향에서의 코딩 모드들의 제어는 다운링크 방향에서의 코딩 모드들의 제어와 무관한 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 이동국과 원격 통신 네트워크 간의 공중 인터페이스를 통한 통신을 위하여 다수의 코딩 모드들을 이용하는 셀룰러 원격 통신 네트워크에서 이용하기 위한 상기 이동국에 있어서,상기 이동국은 그의 리소스 소모를 줄이는 것이 바람직할 때, 그 위치에서 코딩 모드를 선택하도록 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
