Claims (3)
- 투명 화소전극과 능동 소자와 배향제어막으로 형성된 제 1 기판과, 대향전극과 배향제어막으로 형성된 제2 기판으로 된 기판쌍과,네마틱 액정분자와, 액정골격을 갖는 광경화성 조성물로 3차원적으로 형성된 광경화물을 포함하는, 상기 기판쌍간에 끼워진 액정층을 갖고,이 액정층의 변형이 적어도 스프레이 변형 또는 벤드 변형이고,이 광경화성 조성물의 농도가 0.3~3중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 기판쌍 중 적어도 한쪽 기판이 돌기 또는 전극의 슬릿을 갖고,이 기판쌍 중 적어도 한쪽 기판이 상기 액정분자의 길이방향을 이 기판면에 대해 대략 수직으로 배향시키는 상기 배향제어층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항 기재의 액정표시장치의 제조방법으로서,상기 액정골격의 극각방향이 상기 제1 기판과 이루는 각의 평균치를 α로 하고, 이 제1 및 제2 기판의 계면에서의 상기 액정분자의 프리틸트각의 각각을 β1 및 β2로 하고, 이 액정분자가 전압 무인가시에 이 제1 기판과 이루는 각의 평균치를 θ라고 할 때, 이 α, β1, β2, θ가,이 액정분자의 유전율 이방성이 부(負)인 경우에는,α<θ<(β1+β2)/2이 액정분자의 유전율 이방성이 정(正)인 경우에는,(β1+β2)/2<θ<α의 관계이고,전압 인가시에는 이 α, β1, β2, θ가,이 액정분자의 유전율 이방성이 부인 경우에는,(β1+β2) /2-θ<θ-α이 액정분자의 유전율 이방성이 정인 경우에는,θ-(β1+β2)/2<α-θ의 관계를 만족하도록, 상기 광경화성 조성물의 농도를 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
