Abstract
본 발명은 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법을 개시한다.
본 발명에 따른 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법은, 전동기의 운전상의 과도상태에서 전동기에 인가되는 전압에 대한 벡터 과변조 방법에 있어서, 전동기에 인가된 전압에 따른 역기전력 성분과 지령전압과의 대수차가 가장 작은 전압을 전동기의 인가 제어전압으로 선택하는 점에 그 특징이 있다.
이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면, 전동기 운전상의 과도상태에 대응하기 위한 대응전압을 선택함에 있어서 종래와는 달리 전동기의 동특성을 고려한 벡터 과변조 방법에 의해 선택하므로, 전동기의 운전에 필요한 가장 근접한 전압을 선택할 수 있다. 따라서, 전동기의 전류 제어기 및 속도 제어기를 안정되게 동작시킬 수 있고, 그 결과 전동기의 가용 토오크를 최대로 활용할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
Description
본 발명은 전동기에 인가되는 전압에 대한 벡터 과변조 방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법에 관한 것이다.
오늘날 반도체 기술의 발전과 함께 마이크로프로세서 및 논리회로 등이 점차고성능화, 고밀도화되어 가고 있다. 이와 함께 최근 인버터 등의 전력변환장치에 사용되는 제어기의 연산성능 및 제어 알고리즘도 고도화되어 가고 있다. 특히, 전력변환장치의 핵심 제어기술인 전류제어 및 PWM(pulse width modulation:펄스폭 변조) 부분의 디지털화, 고성능화와 함께 다양한 PWM 방법이 산업체에서 사용되고 있으며, 그 중에 전압 이용률이 높고 고조파가 적은 공간벡터 PWM 방식이 활발히 적용되고 있다.
도 1 및 도 2는 종래 전압 벡터 과변조 방법을 설명하는 전압 벡터도이다.
도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 종래 벡터 과변조 방법은 전동기 운전에 있어서의 과도상태에 대응하기 위하여 지령전압( )과 동일한 방향을 가지면서 원점 "O"로부터 육각형 변과 접하는 지점 "a"까지의 크기를 갖는 전압( )을 과도상태 대응전압으로 선택하거나, 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이 원점 "O"로부터 지령전압( )의 선단에서 육각형 변에 직각을 이루는 지점 "b"까지의 크기를 갖는 전압( )을 과도상태 대응전압으로 선택하였다. 이와 같은 전압들( )( )은 지령전압( )과 역기전력 성분( )과의 차( )에 비해 각각 만큼의 오차에 해당하는 크기와 방향을 갖는다. 여기서, 이상과 같은 과변조에 의해 선택된 전압( )( )을 생성하기 위한 시간을 T1,T2 , 지령전압( )을 생성하기 위한 시간을 T1 ′,T2 ′ , 샘플링 시간을 Ts 라 할 때, 상기 도 1 및 도 2의 경우는 각각 아래의 수학식 1 및 수학식 2와 같이 표현될 수 있다.
그런데, 이상과 같은 종래 벡터 과변조 방법은 알고리즘이 단순하여 벡터 과변조의 구현이 용이하고, 계산량이 적은 장점이 있지만, 전동기의 동특성을 전혀 고려하지 않고 과변조에 의해 선택된 전압을 생성하는 문제점이 있다. 즉, 전동기의 전압은 역기전력과 인덕턴스 및 저항에 의한 전압강하 성분으로 구성되어 있는데, 상기 방법은 지령전압과 육각형 변의 경계에서 전압을 선택하므로, 상기와 같은 역기전력 및 전압강하 성분이 고려되지 않아 선택된 전압은 오차를 수반하게 되며, 따라서 과도상태에서 오차를 가진 전압이 전동기에 인가되어 전동기 제어 시스템의 제어성능이 저하되는 문제가 있다.
본 발명은 상기와 같은 문제점을 감안하여 창출된 것으로서, 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 과변조에 의해 과도상태에서도 빠른 속도 및 토오크 응답 특성의 획득을 가능하게 하는 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법을 제공함에 그 목적이 있다.
도 1은 종래 벡터 과변조 방법을 설명하기 위한 전압 벡터도.
도 2는 종래 다른 벡터 과변조 방법을 설명하기 위한 전압 벡터도.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법이 채용되는 일반적인 전동기 제어 시스템의 개략적인 구성도.
도 4 내지 도 7은 본 발명에 따른 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법을 설명하기 위한 전압 벡터도.
도 8은 종래의 전압벡터 과변조 방법 및 본 발명에 따른 전압벡터 과변조 방법이 각각 채용된 전동기 제어 시스템에 있어서의 속도 응답 특성을 나타내 보인 파형도.

상기의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명에 따른 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법은, 전동기의 운전상의 과도상태에서 전동기에 인가되는 전압에 대한 벡터 과변조 방법에 있어서, 전동기에 인가된 전압에 따른 역기전력 성분과 지령전압과의 대수차가 가장 작은 전압을 전동기의 인가 제어전압으로 선택하는 점에 그 특징이 있다.
이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면, 전동기 운전상의 과도상태에 대응하기 위한 대응전압을 선택함에 있어서 종래와는 달리 전동기의 동특성을 고려한 벡터 과변조 방법에 의해 선택하므로, 전동기의 운전에 필요한 가장 근접한 전압을 선택할 수 있다. 따라서, 전동기의 전류 제어기 및 속도 제어기를 안정되게 동작시킬 수 있고, 그 결과 전동기의 가용 토오크를 최대로 활용할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
이하 첨부된 도면을 참조하면서 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 상세히 설명한다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법이 채용되는 일반적인 전동기 제어 시스템의 개략적인 구성도이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 전동기 제어 시스템은 전동기에 인가되는 전류를 제어하기 위한 전류 제어기(301)와 전동기에 인가되는 전압을 변조하여 출력하는 변조부(307)로 크게 구성되어 있다. 전류 제어기(301)는 비례/적분제어기(proportional and integral controller:PI)(303)(307)와 3상을 2상의 동기축(d,q축)으로 변환하는 변환행렬(304)(309)(310)로 구성되어 있고, 변조부(307)는 공간 벡터 펄스 폭 변조(pulse width modulation) 방식에 의해 입력전압을 변조하여 스위칭부의 트랜지스터의 게이트(미도시)를 구동하기 위한 게이팅 신호를 출력하며, 그 내부에는 과변조에 의한 전압벡터의 선택(혹은 설정)범위를 한정하기 위한 하나의 알고리즘으로서의 제한기(limiter)(311a)가 마련되어 있다. 도 3에서 참조 번호 302,306, 312,313은 감산기, 305,308은 가산기를 각각 나타낸다.
그러면, 이상과 같은 구성을 가지는 전동기 제어 시스템과 관련해서 본 발명에 따른 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법에 대하여 설명해 보기로 한다.
본 발명의 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법은 전동기 내부의 역기전력 정보를 이용하여 과변조를 수행하게 된다. 즉, 전동기의 운전상의 과도상태에서 전동기에 인가되는 전압에 대한 벡터 과변조를 수행함에 있어서, 전동기에 인가된 전압에 따른 역기전력 성분과 지령전압과의 대수차가 가장 작은 전압을 전동기의 인가 제어전압으로 선택하는 것이다. 이를 도 4 내지 도 7을 참조하여 좀 더 상세히 설명해 보기로 한다.
도 4를 참조하면, 본 발명의 전압벡터 과변조 방법에 따라 전동기에 인가된 전압에 따른 역기전력 성분( )과 지령전압( )과의 대수차가 가장 작은 전압, 즉 원점 "O"에서 육각형 변의 점 "C"에 이르는 크기를 갖는 전압( )을 과도상태 대응전압으로 선택하게 되는 것이다. 이때, 이 원점 "O"에서 육각형 변의 점 "C"에 이르는 크기를 갖는 전압( )을 결정하기 위한 실제 구현 방법은 도 5 및 도 6에 도시된 바와 같다.
도 5를 참조하면, 역기전력 성분( )과 전류의 오차에 해당하는 전압으로 구성된 지령전압( )은 ds-qs 평면상에서 Vds s* 와 Vqs s* 의 2개의 전압 성분으로 나누어진다. 여기서, 과변조 영역의 지령전압( )과 육각형 변의 경계가 만나는 점 "C"의 위치를 구하기 위해 도 5의 상태에서 θ 만큼 좌표축을 이동하여 도 6과 같이 변환한다. 이에 따라, 새로운 기준 좌표축은 dt-qt 가 되고, 지령전압( )과 역기전력 성분( )을 dt-qt 평면상의 성분으로 표시할 수 있게 된다. 이 관계를 수식으로 표현하면 다음과 같다.
여기서, T(θ) 는 도 3에서 참조번호 310에 해당하는 것으로 변환행렬을 나타내고, θ = 30°+ 60°(m-1)의 관계를 가지며, m은 섹터 번호를 나타낸다.
또한, 상기 도 6으로부터 ΔVqo t 는 다음과 같이 구해진다.
따라서, 이상의 결과로부터 ds-qs 평면상에서 수정된 벡터 는 도 7에 도시된 전압벡터도를 참고로 하여 다음의 수식에 의해 구할 수 있다.
여기서, T-1(θ) 는 도 3에서 참조 번호 304 및 309에 해당하는 것으로 역변환행렬을 나타낸다.
한편, 도 8은 종래의 전압벡터 과변조 방법 및 본 발명에 따른 전압벡터 과변조 방법이 각각 채용된 전동기 제어 시스템에 있어서의 속도 응답 특성을 나타내 보인 파형도이다.
도 8에 도시된 바와 같이, 1800rpm에서 스텝 부하가 인가된 경우, 본 발명에 따른 방법을 채용한 경우의 속도 응답 특성(ωr2)이 종래의 방법을 채용한 경우의 속도 응답 특성(ωr1)에 비해 월등히 우수함을 알 수 있다.
이상의 설명에서와 같이 본 발명에 따른 전동기의 역기전력을 고려한 전압벡터 과변조 방법은 전동기 운전상의 과도상태에 대응하기 위한 대응전압을 선택함에 있어서 종래와는 달리 전동기의 동특성을 고려한 벡터 과변조 방법에 의해 선택하므로, 전동기의 운전에 필요한 가장 근접한 전압을 선택할 수 있다. 따라서, 전동기의 전류 제어기 및 속도 제어기를 안정되게 동작시킬 수 있고, 그 결과 전동기의 가용 토오크를 최대로 활용할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
