Description
Claims (3)
- 화소 전극을 갖는 기판, 공통 전극을 갖는 또 다른 기판, 및 상기 기판들 사이의 액정 분자를 구비하는 액정 디스플레이 장치에 있어서,개구부가 형성되어, 각각의 상기 화소 전극들이 경사진 전기장을 발생시키기 위한 부분들로 분할됨으로써, 상기 액정 분자의 배향이 분할되고,상기 부분들은, 2 이상의 부절연층을 구비하는 절연층을 통해 전기적으로 접속되며,상기 부절연층의 경계에, 각각의 상기 화소 전극에 대해서 상기 배향을 제어하기 위한 제어 전극이 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,각각의 상기 화소 전극에 대해, 디스플레이하는 동안 상기 공통 전극과 전기적으로 접속되는 보조 전극을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제어 전극은 디스플레이하는 동안에 상기 공통 전극과 전기적으로 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 장치.
