Description
Claims (15)
- 글리콜알데하이드를 얻기 위한, 적어도 20 wt/wt% 단당 및/또는 이당(들)을 포함하고 200ppm 미만의 염을 포함하는 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료의 열분해 단편화 단계를 포함하고,
염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 비소, 납, 황산염, 이산화황, 및 5-(하이드록시메틸)푸르푸랄의 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 불순물을 포함하며,
염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료의 pH가 6 아래인, 글리콜알데하이드의 생성 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 75 ICUMSA 유닛(IU)을 넘는 색을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 30 wt/wt% 초과, 40 wt/wt% 초과, 50 wt/wt% 초과, 60 wt/wt% 초과, 70 wt/wt% 초과, 또는 80 wt/wt% 초과 단당(들)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 50-95 wt/wt%, 60-95 wt/wt%, 70-95 wt/wt% 또는 80-95 wt/wt%의 범위에서 단당(들)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 5 mg/kg을 초과하는 중금속의 총량을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 0.5 wt/wt%를 넘는 발화시 잔류물을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 미국 식품화학물질 규격집에 의해 규정된 비-식품 등급 순도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 200ppm 미만의 염을 포함하는 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료를 얻기 위해 조 탄수화물 재료를 염-고갈시키는 사전 단계를 포함하고, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 비소, 납, 황산염, 이산화황, 및 5-(하이드록시메틸)푸르푸랄의 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 불순물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 조 탄수화물 재료는 이온-교환에 의해 염-고갈되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 조 탄수화물 재료는 사탕수수 당, 사탕수수 당 시럽, 셀룰로오스 가수분해물, 녹말 가수분해물, 헤미-셀룰로오스 가수분해물, 옥수수 시럽, 사탕무 시럽; 또는 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료는 180ppm 미만, 170ppm 미만, 160ppm 미만, 150ppm 미만, 140ppm 미만, 100ppm 미만, 70ppm 미만 또는 50ppm 미만의 염을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료는 수성 용액의 형태로 열분해 단편화 유닛에 주사되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 적어도 20 wt/wt% 단당 및/또는 이당(들)을 포함하는 조 탄수화물 재료로부터 글리콜알데하이드를 생성하는 방법으로서,
a. 상기 조 탄수화물 재료로부터 염을 제거하여 200ppm 미만의 염을 포함하는 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료를 제공하는 단계로서, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료가 비소, 납, 황산염, 이산화황, 및 5-(하이드록시메틸)푸르푸랄의 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 불순물을 포함하는, 단계;
b. 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료에 열분해 단편화를 수행하여 글리콜알데하이드를 얻는 단계
를 포함하고, 염-고갈 조 탄수화물 원료의 pH가 6 아래인, 방법. - 제 1 항 내지 제 13 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법을 연속 수행하기 위한 시스템으로서, 상기 시스템은 입구와 출구를 가진 이온-교환 유닛, 및 입구와 출구를 가진 열분해 단편화 유닛을 포함하고, 상기 이온-교환 유닛의 출구가 상기 열분해 단편화 유닛의 입구와 유동 가능하게 연결된 시스템.
