메탄올에 녹인 0.2mM DPPH 용액 180ul와 증류수 20ul에 녹인 상기 비교예, 시험예 1-1 내지 1-5, 시험예 2-1 내지 2-4에서 제조된 추출물을 10㎍/㎖ 농도로 희석한 시료와 비타민 C(대조군)(100㎍/㎖)를 각각 96-웰 마이크로플레이트에 넣고 37℃에서 30분간 배양한 후, 환원된 DPPH의 양을 분광 광도계(Precision microplate reader; Molecular Devices, VersaMax)를 이용하여 520nm에서 흡광도를 측정하여 항산화 활성을 비교하였다. DPPH는 항산화 활성이 있는 물질과 반응하면 라디칼이 소거되어 짙은 자색으로 탈색되기 때문에, 흡광도 측정을 통하여 항산화 물질의 수소 공여능을 측정하는데 널리 이용되고 있다. 상기 실험은 3회 반복하여 수행되었다(Sang S et al., J.Agric. 발효된 상기 회향, 흰목이 버섯이 첨가된 상기 추출용매에 초음파를 20 내지 50kHz으로 25 내지 40℃에서 0.5 내지 1.5시간 동안 조사하여 예비 회향, 흰목이 버섯 추출물을 제조하는 단계; 및
상기 예비 회향, 흰목이 버섯 추출물을 여과한 후, 여과된 상기 예비 회향, 흰목이 버섯 추출물을 감압 및 농축하여 회향, 흰목이 버섯 추출물을 제조하는 단계; 를 포함하는,

The functional composition for skin whitening according to claim 3, further comprising a centella asiatica extract.
The functional composition for skin whitening according to claim 4, wherein the centella asiatica extract is included in an amount of 20 to 70% by weight based on the total weight of the fennel extract and the white throat mushroom extract.
