피부세포 재생 효과를 확인하기 위하여 wound healing assay를 진행하였다. 각질형성세포(HEKa)를 Human Keratinocyte Growth Supplement (HKGK)가 첨가된 Medium 154 배지를 이용하여 1×106 cell/well로 조절한 후 6 well plate에 접종하고 18시간 동안 배양하였다. 세포의 일부분에 스크래치를 낸 뒤 상기 실시에 및 비교예의 시료를 처리하여 8시간 배양하였다. 세포 재생율은 wound gap을 측정하여 하기 식에 의해 산출되었고, 그 결과는 하기 표 9에 나타내었다. 대조군으로는 마데카소사이드(madecassocide)를 사용하였다.A wound healing assay was conducted to confirm the skin cell regeneration effect.
