Claims (11)
- 공급되는 전류로 휘도가 결정되는 광을 방출하는 발광소자와, 상기 발광소자에 전류를 공급하는 구동 트랜지스터를 포함한 화소회로를 구비한 발광 표시장치의 구동회로로서,데이터 전압을 포함한 제1신호를 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 제어 전극에 입력할 때에 상기 구동 트랜지스터로부터 출력된, 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 한계치전압과 상기 데이터 전압을 포함한 제2신호를, 극성이 반전한 상기 한계치전압과, 상기 데이터 전압 또는 상기 데이터 전압에 대응하는 전압을 포함한 제3신호로 변환해서 상기 화소회로에 출력하는 한계치 보정회로를 구비하고,상기 구동 트랜지스터의 드레인 단자는 상기 발광소자에 접속되고,상기 구동 트랜지스터의 소스 단자는 상기 한계치 보정회로에 접속되며,상기 화소회로는, 상기 제1신호와 제3신호중 어느 하나를 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 상기 제어 전극에 공급하는 스위치를 구비하며,상기 구동회로는, 상기 스위치 동작에 따라 상기 제2신호를 상기 제3신호로 변환하는 한계치 프로그램 기간 및 상기 발광소자를 상기 제3신호에 따라 구동하는 발광소자 구동기간의 모드에서 동작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소회로는 2차원으로 배열되고, 상기 제1신호는 화소회로 열마다 설치된 데이터 선에 의해 입력되고, 상기 한계치 보정회로는 상기 화소회로 열마다 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동회로.
- 공급되는 전류로 휘도가 결정되는 광을 방출하는 발광소자, 상기 발광소자에 전류를 공급하는 구동 트랜지스터, 제1 내지 제5 스위치, 및 용량소자를 포함한 화소회로와, 상기 화소회로의 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 한계치를 보정하기 위한 한계치 보정회로를 구비한 발광 표시장치의 구동회로로서,상기 한계치 보정회로는, 제1 및 제2 연산 증폭기와, 제1 및 제2 저항소자를 구비하고, 상기 제1 연산 증폭기는, 출력 단자가 상기 제1 저항소자를 거쳐서 상기 제2 연산 증폭기의 반전 입력 단자와 접속되고, 비반전 입력 단자가 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 소스 단자와 상기 제1 스위치를 거쳐서 접속되고, 또 반전 입력 단자가 해당 제1 연산 증폭기의 출력 단자와 접속되며,상기 제2 연산 증폭기는, 출력 단자가 상기 제2 저항소자를 거쳐서 해당 제2 연산 증폭기의 반전 입력 단자와 접속되고, 비반전 입력 단자가 기준 전압에 접속되며,상기 용량소자는, 상기 제2 연산 증폭기의 출력 단자와 상기 제2 스위치를 거쳐서 접속되고,상기 제3 스위치는, 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 소스 단자와 접지와의 사이에 접속되고,상기 제4 스위치 및 제5 스위치는, 한쪽의 단자가 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 게이트 단자에 접속되고, 상기 제4 스위치의 다른 쪽의 단자는, 상기 용량소자와 제2 스위치와의 접속 점에 접속되고, 상기 제5 스위치의 다른 쪽의 단자는, 데이터 드라이버로부터의 신호 선과 접속된 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동회로.
- 공급되는 전류로 휘도가 결정되는 광을 방출하는 발광소자, 상기 발광소자에 전류를 공급하는 구동 트랜지스터, 제1 내지 제4 스위치, 및 용량소자를 포함한 화소회로와, 상기 화소회로의 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 한계치를 보정하기 위한 한계치 보정회로를 구비한 발광 표시장치의 구동회로로서,상기 한계치 보정회로는 제1 및 제2 연산 증폭기와, 제1 및 제2 저항소자를 구비하고,상기 제1 연산 증폭기는, 출력 단자가 상기 제1 저항소자를 거쳐서 상기 제2 연산 증폭기의 반전 입력 단자와 접속되고, 비반전 입력 단자가 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 소스 단자와 상기 제1 스위치를 거쳐서 접속되고, 또 반전 입력 단자가 해당 제1 연산 증폭기의 출력 단자와 접속되고,상기 제2 연산 증폭기는, 출력 단자가 상기 제2 스위치를 거쳐서 상기 용량소자와 접속되고, 비반전 입력 단자가 기준 전압에 접속되며,상기 제3 스위치는, 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 소스 단자와 접지와의 사이에 접속되고, 상기 용량소자 및 상기 제2 스위치와의 접속 점은, 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 게이트 단자와 접속되고, 상기 접속 점은 상기 제4 스위치를 거쳐서 데이터 드라이버로부터의 신호 선과 접속된 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동회로.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 화소회로는 2차원으로 배열되고, 상기 신호 선은 화소회로 열마다 설치되고, 상기 한계치 보정회로는, 상기 화소회로 열마다 설치되고, 또 복수의 상기 화소회로가 배치된 화소영역의 주변영역에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동회로.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 구동 트랜지스터의 소스 단자에 접속되어 있는 제1 스위치와, 상기 제1 연산 증폭기의 비반전 입력 단자 사이의 접속 점에 접속된 전류원 회로를 더 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동회로.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 발광소자의 양쪽단자에 병렬로 접속되는 제6 스위치를 더 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 발광소자가 유기EL소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동회로.
- 공급되는 전류로 휘도가 결정되는 광을 방출하는 발광소자와, 상기 발광소자에 전류를 공급하는 구동 트랜지스터와를 포함한 화소회로를 구비한 발광 표시장치의 구동방법으로서,데이터 전압을 포함한 제1신호를 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 제어 전극에 입력하고, 상기 구동 트랜지스터로부터 출력된 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 한계치전압과 상기 데이터 전압을 포함한 제2신호를, 극성이 반전한 상기 한계치전압과, 상기 데이터 전압 또는 상기 데이터 전압에 대응하는 전압을 포함한 제3신호로 변환하여, 용량소자에 저장하는 제1 기간과,상기 용량소자에 저장된 상기 제3신호를 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 상기 제어 전극에 공급하고, 상기 발광소자를 발광하는 제2 기간을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 제1 기간에 있어서, 구동 트랜지스터가 소스 폴로워 회로로서 기능하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 청구항 1에 기재된 구동회로를 구비한 발광 표시장치와,피사체를 촬상하는 촬영부와,상기 촬영부에서 촬상된 신호를 처리하는 영상신호처리부를 구비하고,상기 영상신호처리부에서 신호 처리된 영상신호를 상기 발광 표시장치로 표시하여 된 것을 특징으로 하는 카메라.
