- 세라믹 물질로 구성된 플러그된 월-플로우 허니콤 필터 몸체 및, 전방 입구로 부터 이의 배기가스 출구까지의 상기 월-플로우 허니콤 필터 몸체를 가로지르는 복수의 평행한 말단-플러그된 입구 및 출구 셀을 포함하고, 상기 셀은 체스판 패턴으로 배열되며,여기서, 상기 셀은 내부 다공성 벽에 의해 형성된 비-정형 사각 단면을 가지며, 상기 입구 셀은 출구 셀보다 큰 단면을 가지고, 상기 내부 다공성 벽은 상기 입구와 출구 셀간 교류하는 제1 부분을 포함하며, 상기 제1 부분이 입구 셀의 측벽은 포함하나 코너 부분은 포함하지 않아, 출구 셀이 입구 셀의 측벽에서만 경계를 이루고, 상기 내부 다공성 벽의 잔여 부분은 출구 셀과 교류하지 않는 입구 셀만이 차지하는 디젤 배기가스 필터에 있어서,상기 입구 셀은 출구 셀보다 1.1 내지 2배 큰 수화 직경을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 배기가스 필터.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 입구 셀은 출구 셀보다 1.3 내지 1.6배 큰 수화 직경을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 배기가스 필터.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 월-플로우 허니콤 필터 몸체는 코디어라이트 또는 실리콘 카바이드로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 배기가스 필터.
- 다이 몸체를 포함하며, 상기 다이 몸체는:입구면,상기 입구면의 맞은편 방출면,상기 입구면으로 부터 몸체로 확장된 복수의 피드홀(feedhole),상기 다이내의 피드홀/슬롯 교차점에서 피드홀과 연결되도록 상기 방출 면으로 부터 몸체로 확장된 방출 슬롯의 교차 배열,및크기가 번갈아 위치하면서 핀의 체스판 메트릭스를 형성하는 두개의 다른 단면적을 갖는 복수 핀의 측면에 의해 형성된 방출 슬롯의 교차 배열을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니콤 압출성형 다이.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 핀들은 사각 단면을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니콤 압출성형 다이.
