Abstract
하이브리드 디스크는 주어진 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 제 1 기판(1)의 다음에 반투과성 층 시스템(2)을 적층시키는 형식으로 제조된다. 그와 관련하여, 다시 그 다음에는 전술된 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 제 2 기판(5)이 마련된다. 그 다음에는 반사층 시스템(6)이 이어진다. 제 1 기판 상에는 역시 전술된 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 방습층 시스템이 마련된다. 그 경우, 반투과성 층 시스템. 반사층 시스템, 및 방습층 시스템은 동일 유형의 진공 코팅 방법에 의해 적층된다.

Description
본 발명은 주어진 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 제 1 기판, 그 다음에 있고 전술된 대역에서 반투과성인 반투과성층 시스템(semi-permeable layer system), 다시 그 다음에 있고 전술된 대역에서 투명한 제 2 기판, 및 끝으로 다시 그 다음에 있는 반사층 시스템(reflecting layer system)을 구비하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
국제 단계의 선행 기술의 조사 범위에서 검색된 문헌, 즉 아래의 문헌을 본 발명에 대한 그 각각의 의미를 평가함이 없이 참조할 수 있을 것이다:

도 1에는 슈퍼 오디오 CD(super audio CD)로서도 알려진 하이브리드 디스크의 종래의 구조가 개략적으로 도시되어 있다. 그러한 디스크는 제 1 투명 기판(1)을 구비하는데, 그 기판(1)의 바깥쪽에 있는 면(A1)은 주위 대기 쪽을 향해 놓인다. 안쪽에 있는 제 2 면(A1/2)에는 반투과성 층 시스템(2)이 마련되고, 그 층 시스템(2)은 다시 그 안쪽에 있는 면(A2/3)에 의해 접착제 층(3)에 접한다. 접착제 층(3)의 내면(A3/5)은 투명한 제 2 기판(5)에 접하고, 그 투명 기판(5)의 안쪽에 있는 면(A5/6)은 반사층 시스템(6)에 접하게 된다. 통상, 반사층 시스템(6)은 보호층(8), 예컨대 보호 래커 층에 의해 주위 대기에 대해 보호된다.
면(A1/2)의 구역에는 정보 인쇄 패턴(information-imprinted pattern)이 마련되고, 면(A5/6)의 구역에는 제 2 정보 인쇄 패턴이 마련된다. 정보를 판독하기 위해, 도 1에 개략적으로 도시된 바와 같이 주어진 스펙트럼 대역, 통상적으로 600 ㎚ 내지 800 ㎚, 바람직하게는 630 ㎚ 내지 780 ㎚의 범위의 스펙트럼 대역 내에 있는 레이저 광(L)이 디스크로 입사된다. 전술된 정보는 한편으로는 반투과성 층(2)으로부터 반사된 부분 빔(partial beam)에서 판독되고, 다른 한편으로는 반사층 시스템으로부터 반사된 부분 빔에서 판독된다. 전체의 정보를 판독하는데는 그것의 사용 시에 반투과성 층(2)에서 분할되는 단일의 레이저 빔이 사용되거나, 아니면 그 파장이 전술된 스펙트럼 대역에 특정되는 2개의 상이한 레이저 빔이 사용 된다.
본 발명의 범위에서는 그러한 유형의 하이브리드 디스크의 구조적 구성이 그 핵심이 되고, 정보 판독 기술 또는 레이저 광 입사 기술의 양자에 관해서는 언명되지 않는다.
본 발명의 범위에서는 디스크의 층상 구조가 비대칭적이기는 하지만, 근본적으로 한편으로는 기판 면(A1)이 주위 대기에 접해 있고 다른 한편으로는 보호층(8)이든 반사층 시스템(6)이든 여하간 층 시스템이 주위 대기에 접해 있음을 알 수 있다.
전술된 디스크에 사용되는 기판 재료, 예컨대 폴리카보네이트는 코팅되지 않았을 경우에 상대적으로 신속하게 주위로부터 습기를 흡수한다. 그에 따라, 도 1로부터 바로 알 수 있고 화살표 "F"로 지시된 바와 같이, 외측 기판(1)의 팽창이 일어남으로써 도 1에 따른 디스크가 마치 바이메탈처럼 위쪽으로 오목하게 휘어지게 된다. 주위 공기의 습도가 낮아지면, 전술된 기판(1)이 수축되어 도 1의 도면에 따른 디스크(1)가 아래쪽으로 오목하게 휘어지게 된다.
그러한 변형은 소위 반경 방향 편이에 의해 특성화될 수 있다. 그러한 반경 방향 편이는 기판 표면(A1)으로부터 반사된 빔의 각도 편이로서 정의되고, DVD 표준(DVD: 디지털 비디오 디스크)에서는 ±0.8°를 넘지 않아야 한다. 그러나, 95 %의 상대 공기 습도에서 30 ℃로 가열되면, 반경 방향 편이가 약 1.2°만큼 변하게 된다.
기본적으로, 메모리 디스크의 기판은 방습층(moisture-proof layer)에 의해 습기에 대해 보호될 수 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나, 그 때에 그러한 보호층을 부착하는데는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조 사이클과는 맞지 않는 코팅 방법이 사용되는데, 그것은 나머지 층 시스템을 하이브리드 디스크에 적층시키기 위한 방법과는 근본적으로 상이함은 물론, 특히 코팅 시간에 관한 한 차이가 있는 예컨대 래커 도포 방법 또는 진공 코팅 기술로 코팅 방법이 바꿔지기 때문이다. 진공 코팅 기술은 다음의 유형으로 나누어 볼 수 있다.
- 모든 공지의 전기 급전 기술, 즉 DC 급전, AC+DC 급전, AC 급전, 또는 펄스화된 DC 급전에 의해 이루어지고, 자계의 지원을 받거나 받지 않는 반응성(reactive) 또는 비반응성(non-reactive) 스퍼터링.
- 이동되는 융합점에 있는 타깃 재료를 용융시키는(아크 증발) 저압 고전류 아크 방전을 사용함으로써 이루어지고, 역시 자계의 지원을 받거나 받지 않는 반응성 또는 비반응성 아크 증착.
- 전자 방출 증착과 같은 반응성 또는 비반응성 열 증착.
- 플라즈마의 지원을 받음이 없이 재료를 기체 상으로 적층시키는 CVD 방법.
- 플라즈마 중합.
PECVD 방법은 기본적으로 예컨대 반응성 스퍼터링에서와 같이 플라즈마의 지원을 받는 코팅 재료를 기체 상으로 적층시키는 혼합 방법을 지칭한다.
본 명세서의 범위에서 동일 유형의 진공 코팅 방법이라고 언급될 경우, 그것은 전술된 유형의 것들을 일컫는 것이다.
본 발명의 제 1 양태 하의 목적은 하이브리드 디스크의 기존 제조 사이클에 간단히 통합될 수 있는 서두에 전제된 형식의 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
그러한 본 발명에 따른 제 1 목적은 반투과성 층 시스템 및 반사층 시스템을 동일 유형의 진공 코팅 방법에 의해 적층시키는 서두에 전제된 형식의 방법에서 하나 이상의 층으로 되어 전술된 스펙트럼 대역, 특히 600 ㎚ 내지 800 ㎚의 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 방습층 시스템을 역시 동일 유형의 진공 코팅 방법에 의해 제 1 기판 상에 적층시킴으로써 달성된다.
즉, 하이브리드 디스크가 반투과성 층 시스템 및 반사층 시스템을 적층시키는데 그러한 바와 같이 인라인(Inline) 순서의 코팅 사이클로 제조되는 것을 고려한다면, 장치의 구성에 관해서는 물론, 사이클 제어에 관해서도 제안된 바와 같은 조치를 강구하는 것이 유리하게 작용한다는 것을 알 수 있을 것이다.
또한, 공지의 선행 기술에 따르면, 방습층은 단지 예로서만 말하자면 예컨대 열처리 및 그 다음의 액상 코팅, 스핀 코팅 등에 의한 것과 같이, 또는 예컨대 플라즈마 전처리, 코팅, 및 그 다음의 열처리에 의한 것과 같이 상대적으로 자동화되기 어렵고 상대적으로 어렵게만 제어될 수 있는 다수의 취급 단계를 요하는 방법에 의해 메모리 디스크 상에 적층된다.
따라서, 본 발명의 제 2 양태 하의 목적은 전술된 바의 습기에 기인한 문제점인 디스크의 휘어짐을 높은 효율로 상대적으로 간단히 자동화 및 제어될 수 있게 해결하는 서두에 전제된 형식의 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
그를 위해, 서두에 전제된 방법은 하나 이상의 층으로 되어 전술된 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 방습층 시스템을 스퍼터링에 의해 제 1 투명 기판 상에 적층시키는 것을 그 특징으로 한다.
본 발명의 제3 양태 하의 목적은 전술된 바의 습기에 기인한 휘어짐의 문제점을 단지 가능한 한 효율적으로만 해소시키는 것이다.
그것은 서두에 전제된 방법에서 아화학량론적(substoichiometric) 산화규소로 이루어진 하나 이상의 층 및/또는 산질화규소로 이루어진 하나 이상의 층으로 된 방습층 시스템을 투명 기판 상에 적층시킴으로써 달성된다.
바람직한 것은 전술된 목적 달성 수단, 즉
- 디스크 제조 방법에 이미 사용된 코팅 방법을 사용하는 것,
- 방습층 시스템을 스퍼터링에 의해 적층시키는 것,
- 방습층 시스템을 아화학량론적 산화규소 및/또는 산질화규소로 적층시키는 것,
중의 2개 이상을 하나 이상의 짝을 이루어 조합한 채로 사용하거나, 3개의 모든 양태를 함께 조합하여 사용하는 것이다.
전술된 방습층 시스템을 도 1에 따른 기판 면(A1) 상에 적층시킴으로써 기판 전면에서의 반사로 인해 상당한 레이저 신호 손실을 감수해야 하는 것을 방지하기 위해, 방습층 시스템의 재료(들)의 굴절률을 최대한으로 제 1 투명 기판의 굴절률과 동일하게 선택하고, 그 경우에 특히 그 굴절률 n을 굴절률 ns = 1.57인 폴리카보 네이트의 통상의 기판 재료를 고려하여,
1.47 ≤ n ≤ 1.7,
바람직하게는
1.5 ≤ n ≤ 1.6,
특히 바람직하게는
n ≤ 1.57
의 범위에서 선택하는 조치를 강구한다.
또한, 방습층 시스템의 적층으로 인해 생기는 흡광 손실을 최소화시키기 위해, 방습층 시스템의 재료(들)로서 흡광 상수 k가 다음에 해당하는 재료를 선택하는 조치를 강구한다:
10-4 ≤ k ≤ 5 × 10-3,
바람직하게는
k ≤ 10-3.
방습층 시스템을 스퍼터링에 의해 적층시킬 경우에는 산소 함유 분위기 중에서 규소 타깃의 반응성 스퍼터링에 의해 적층시키는 것이 바람직하다.
산질화규소 층을 생성하기 위해, 추가의 질소를 반응성 가스로서 사용한다. 그 경우, 층의 화학량론이 본질적으로 변경되도록 하려면, 반응성 가스 혼합물 중의 질소의 분율이 상대적으로 높을 필요가 있다. 또한, 반응성 가스에 질소를 첨가함으로써 타깃이 산소로 오염되는 것을 감소시키기 때문에, 스퍼터링 공정의 안 정성이 향상되게 된다. 추가로, 층의 균일성도 개선되는데, 그에 의해 층이 동일한 작용을 발휘하면서도 보다 더 얇게 적층될 수 있게 된다. 물론, 방습층 시스템을 시간에 따라 단계적으로 산화규소 및 산질화규소를 적층시킴으로써, 경우에 따라서는 반응성 가스의 조성을 상응하게 제어함으로써 양자의 적층간의 전이를 명확히 구별 지음이 없이 실현시키는 것도 가능하다.
아화학량론적 산화규소 및/또는 산질화규소로 이루어진 방습층 시스템의 적층이 잘 이루어지도록 하려면, 두께가 10 ㎚ 이상이자 바람직하게는 최대 50 ㎚인 방습층 시스템을 사용하는 조치를 강구하는 것이 바람직하다.
방습층 시스템의 재료로서 아화학량론적 산화규소를 사용할 경우, 전술된 최적의 상수 n 및 k를 유지시키는 것은 SixOy 층에서 원하는 화학량론 x/y를 정확히 유지시킴으로써 실현되는데, 그것을 플라즈마 방출 모니터에 의한 코팅 공정의 추적 및/또는 반응성 가스 분압의 측정에 의해 감시하고, 해당 측정치를 IST 값으로서 하여 코팅 공정을 예컨대 수동으로 또는 예컨대 방전 전류 및/또는 방전 전압 및/또는 반응성 가스 플럭스(flux)에 대한 자동화된 개입에 의해 제어 또는 조절하는 것이 바람직하다.
O2/N2 반응성 가스 혼합물을 산질화규소 층에 사용하면, 혼합비에 의해 굴절률을 조절하는 것이 가능하고, 해당 측정치(타깃 전압, 반응성 가스 분압)를 감시 및 제어하지 않더라도 반응성 가스 플럭스를 조절하는 것이 가능하게 된다.
스퍼터링의 유형의 매우 적합한 코팅 방법은 특히 마그네트론 스퍼터링과 같 은 DC 스퍼터링이다. DC 스퍼터링 시에는 방습층 시스템으로서 사용되는 바람직한 바의 재료, 구체적으로 아화학량론적 산화규소 및/또는 산질화규소의 재료의 전기 절연 특성에 기인하여, 공지의 소위 "아킹(arcing)"에 대비한 조치, 즉 전도성 타깃 재료 상의 절연 코팅으로 인해 전기 스파크가 형성되는 일이 생기는 것을 방지하기 위한 조치를 강구해야 한다. 특히, 그러한 조치는 전술된 아화학량론적 산화규소 및/또는 산질화규소를 사용할 경우에는 반도체가 도핑된 규소 타깃을 사용함으로써 및/또는 스퍼터링 소스를 급전시키는 DC 발전기와 스퍼터링 소스와이 사이에 높은 임피던스 및 낮은 임피던스로 접속되는 전기 회로를 간헐적으로 마련함으로써 달성된다. 그러한 기술에 관해서는 본 출원인의 EP-A-564 789를 전반적으로 참조하면 될 것이다.
전술된 아킹을 방지하는 또 다른 변형된 조치는 스퍼터링 코팅을 동일한 반응성 공정 분위기 중에서 2개 이상 마련된 타깃, 특히 동심상의 링 타깃으로부터 행하는 것이다.
또한, 방습층 시스템을 적층시키는 것은 하이브리드 디스크 공작물이 그와 관련된 코팅 절차에서도 코팅 소스에 대해 고정적으로 유지될 수 있도록 함으로써 매우 현저히 단순화되게 된다. 그것은 공작물이 그에 배속된 코팅 공정 스테이션에 매우 용이하게 로딩 및 언로딩되도록 한다.
주어진 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 제 1 기판, 그 다음에 있고 주어진 스펙트럼 대역에서 반투과성인 반투과성층 시스템, 그 다음에 있고 주어진 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 제 2 기판, 및 역시 그 다음에 있는 반사층 시스템을 구비하는 본 발명에 따른 하이브리드 디스크는 제 1 기판과 주위 대기와의 사이에 아화학량론적 산화규소 및/또는 산질화규소로 이루어진 층 시스템을 구비한다.
이하, 본 발명을 첨부 도면 및 바람직한 실시예에 의거하여 더욱 상세히 설명하기로 한다. 첨부 도면 중에서,
도 1은 하이브리드 디스크의 종래의 구조를 개략적으로 나타낸 단면도이고,
도 2는 본 발명에 따른 하이브리드 디스크를 개략적으로 나타낸 도 1과 유사한 도면이며,
도 3은 화학량론적 이산화규소로 된 보호층((a)) 또는 아화학량론적 산화규소로 된 보호층((b))의 경우에 결과적으로 생기는 하이브리드 디스크에서의 반경 방향 편이를 적층된 방습층의 두께에 따라 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 2에는 도 1에 따른 것이기는 하지만 본 발명에 따라 개선된 하이브리드 디스크가 동일한 도면 부호를 수반하여 도시되어 있다. 본 발명에 따르면, 제 1 기판(1)의 면(A1) 상에는 이미 서론에서 구체적으로 전술된 바와 같이 본 발명에 따라 적층되거나 본 발명에 따른 재료로 이루어진 방습층 시스템(10)이 마련된다. 이미 서론에서 본 발명에 관한 설명이 주어졌기 때문에, 여기에서 도 2에 주의를 돌려 그러한 설명을 반복할 필요는 없을 것이다.
두께가 각각 0.6 ㎜인 도 2에 따른 기판(1 내지 5)으로 이루어지는 하이브리드 디스크를 반투과성 층 시스템(2) 및 반사층 시스템(6)으로 코팅하고, 접착제 층(3)에 의해 접착시켰다. 제 1 기판의 면(A1)을 여러 층 두께로 화학량론적 SiO2 또는 x < 2인 아화학량론적 SiOx로 코팅하였다. 그 경우, 그러한 층을 산소 함유 분위기 중에서 반응성 DC 스퍼터링(마그네트론 스퍼터링)에 의해 금속질 규소로부터 적층시켰다. 시판되고 있는 본 출원인의 장치 SDS131에 다음의 공정 조건을 세팅하였다:
스퍼터링 출력: 3 ㎾
아르곤 플럭스: 30 sccm
반응성 가스: 플럭스가 아화학량론적 층에 대한 45 sccm와 화학량론적 층에 대한 50 sccm와의 사이로 조절되는 O2.
이동식 자기 시스템이 마련된 본 출원인의 마그네트론 스퍼터링 소스 ARQ131을 사용하여 가능한 한 규칙적으로 타깃을 반출 이송시켰다.
전술된 아킹을 방지하기 위해, 마그네트론에의 급전을 위한 DC 발전기와 마그네트론 소스 접속부와의 사이에 높은 임피던스 및 낮은 임피던스로 접속되는 전기 회로 또는 병렬 초퍼(parallel chopper)를 간헐적으로 사용하였다.
코팅 속도는 8.7 ㎚/sec로 되었는데, 그에 의해 바람직한 것으로 사용된 20 내지 50 ㎚의 층 두께에 대해 약 2.5 내지 6 sec의 코팅 시간이 주어졌다. 결과적 으로 생긴 층은 다음의 n 및 k를 나타내었다:
아화학량론적 산화규소의 경우, n = 1.65; k = 0.002,
화학량론적 이산화규소의 경우, n = 1.47; k = 0.0002.
이어서, 코팅된 하이브리드 디스크에 대한 공조 시험(climate test)을 행하였다.
20 ℃의 주위 온도 및 약 40 %의 상대 공기 습도에 해당하는 상태로부터 출발하여 하이브리드 디스크를 50 ℃의 주위 온도 및 약 95 %의 상대 공기 습도에서 24 시간 동안 방치시켰다.
도 3에는 그 시험 결과가 작성되어 있다. 화학량론적 SiO2로 코팅된 하이브리드 디스크는 방수 코팅 시스템을 구비하지 않는 통상의 하이브리드 디스크와 마찬가지로 시험 조건 및 수분 흡수에 기인하여 1.5 내지 2°의 반경 방향 편이만큼 휘어지는 것을 바로 알 수 있을 것이다. 아화학량론적 산화규소로 코팅된 하이브리드 디스크의 경우에는 그러한 반경 방향 편이가 층 두께에 따라서는 3배를 넘는 정도까지 매우 크게 감소되었다. 산질화규소로 이루어진 방습층 시스템을 적층시킬 경우에도 역시 마찬가지의 양호한 결과가 얻어진다. 그 경우, O2/N2 가스 혼합물을 반응성 가스로서 사용하여 반응성 가스 혼합비 또는 분압에 의해 최적의 상수를 조절하도록 한다.
또한, 월등히 바람직한 코팅 재료, 즉 아화학량론적 산화규소 또는 산질화규소는 현저한 추가의 이점을 동반하는 것으로 입증되었다:
온도 변동 시에는 하이브리드 디스크, 그 중에서도 특히 기판(1, 5), 즉 도 2에 따른 기판(1)이 팽창하게 된다. 따라서, 폴리카보네이트의 열 팽창 계수(α) 65 ×10-6/K가 통상적으로 기판으로서 사용되는 재료의 열 팽창 계수와 같게 된다. 결과적으로 방습층 시스템에 생기는 응력은 층 재료의 탄성률(E)에 비례한다. 화학량론적 이산화규소의 탄성률은 약 30 내지 100 Gpa이고, 폴리카보네이트의 탄성률은 2 내지 2.5 Gpa이다. 화학량론적 이산화규소는 취성이 매우 커서 쉽게 균열을 형성하고, 그에 의해 층 재료와는 상관이 없이 습기가 기판에 침투할 수 있게 된다.
아화학량론적 산화규소 또는 산질화규소는 화학량론적 이산화규소에 비해 매우 우수한 기계 특성, 즉 현저히 더 작은 탄성률(E) 및 현저히 더 큰 연신율을 나타낸다. 전술된 그러한 바람직한 재료는 입증된 바와 같이 규소 타깃의 반응성 스퍼터링에 의해 높은 적층 속도로 간단히 적층될 수 있다. 그 경우, 화학량론은 필요에 따라 감시되는 공정 유도 장치에 의해 아화학량론적 산화규소 또는 신질화규소의 굴절률이 요구되는 범위 내에 놓이도록 제어된다. 또한, 굴절률에 관해 전술된 요건을 충족시키는 아화학량론적 산화규소 또는 마찬가지의 아화학량론적 산질화규소는 그러한 스펙트럼 범위에서는 실제로 흡광을 하지 않는다.
아화학량론적 산화규소 또는 산질화규소는 화학량론적 이산화규소와는 상이하게 균열을 형성하는 경향이 현저히 더 작기 때문에, 특히 최소로 주어지는 10 ㎚의 층 두께로부터도 이미 실질적으로 수분이 침투하지 못하는 효과적인 보호 장벽 을 기판 상에 형성하게 된다. 그와 같이 되도록 적층시키는데 필요한 2.5 내지 6 sec의 스퍼터링 시간은 양호하게도 반사층 시스템 및 반투과성 층 시스템의 스퍼터링 코팅에 필요한 시간대 내에 있다. 그 경우에 특히 강조하고자 하는 것은 반투과성 층 시스템을 반응성 규소 스퍼터링에 의해 적층시킴으로써 하나의 동일한 스테이션에서 양자의 코팅, 즉 반투과성 층 시스템과 방습층 시스템의 코팅을 행하는 것이 가능하도록 하는 것이다.
또한, 특히 바람직한 아화학량론적 산화규소를 사용할 경우에는 방습층 시스템의 광학 특성 및 기계 특성이 원하는 화학량론 비의 유지 여부에 따라 크게 달라지기 때문에, 전술된 바와 같이 코팅 공정을 감시하는 것이 바람직하다. 그것은 플라즈마 방출 모니터에 의해 예컨대 산소 플라즈마 방출 곡선과 아르곤 플라즈마 방출 곡선과의 강도 비를 측정함으로써 또는 플라즈마의 색 변화를 측정함으로써 행해지거나, 질량 분광기에 의해 반응성 가스 분압을 감시하고 반응성 가스 플럭스 및 필요에 따른 전기 방전 파라미터에 대한 제어 개입에 의해 원위치에서 공정을 제어함으로써 행해진다. 조절되는 공정 파라미터를 충분히 긴 시간 동안 지속시키는 것이 보장된다면, 그러한 파라미터의 편류 및 그에 따른 조절된 화학량론 비의 편류는 코팅 후에 제조된 방습층의 굴절률을 예컨대 타원 편광계(ellipsometer) 및/또는 흡광계에 의해 측정하고 그에 상응하게 공정에 대한 보정 개입을 함으로써 행해질 수도 있다.
역시 바람직한 산질화규소를 적층시킬 경우에는 높은 공정 안정성에 의거하여 상응하는 공정 감시를 생략할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 조치에 의하면, 한편으로는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조 시간이 연장되지 않거나 단지 미미하게만 연장되고, 다른 한편으로는 본 발명에 따른 바람직한 코팅 공정이 즉각적으로 자동화될 수 있고, 용이하게 제어될 수 있으며, 어차피 하이브리드 디스크의 제조 시에 사용되는 코팅 공정에 통합된다는 특징을 나타낸다. 특히, 아화학량론적 산화규소 및/또는 산질화규소를 방습층 시스템 재료로서 사용함으로써 그러한 유형의 하이브리드 디스크에 대한 반경 방향 편이의 특성 요건이 즉각적으로 유지되게 된다. 또한, 바람직하게 사용되는 재료는 오염이 없는 저렴한 원료, 즉 규소, 산소, 및 질소를 사용함으로써 실현될 수 있다. 그러나, 본 발명의 범위에서는 특히 다른 층 시스템, 즉 반투과성 층 시스템 및 반사층 시스템을 하이브리드 디스크에 적층시키기 위해 스퍼터링과는 다른 방법 유형, 예컨대 CVD 또는 플라즈마 중합을 사용할 경우에는 방습층 시스템을 적층시키는데 더 이상 스퍼터링이 아니라, 이미 언급된 바와 같이 전술된 코팅 방법 유형을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다는 것을 강조하고자 한다.
바람직하게 사용되는 재료, 즉 산화규소 및 산질화규소에 관해 언급할 경우, 그것은 물론 다른 원소가 존재할 수도 있다는 것, 예컨대 산질화규소의 경우에는 화합물 SiOxNyRz(단, z는 x 및 y에 비해 작고, 그것도 매우 작음)로 존재할 수도 있다는 것으로 이해되어야 할 것이다.
Claims (20)
- 주어진 스펙트럼 대역에서 투명한 제1기판(1)을 제공하는 단계;상기 제1기판(1)의 제1면 상에, 주어진 대역에서 반투과성인 반투과성층 시스템(2)을 적용하는 단계;상기 반투과성층 시스템(2) 상에 주어진, 대역에서 투명한 제2기판(5)을 적용하는 단계;상기 제2기판(5)의 상에 반사층 시스템(6)을 적용하는 단계; 및상기 제1기판의 제2면 상에 상기 제2면을 주위로부터 보호하기 위한 방습층 시스템(10)을 적용하는 단계로서, 상기 방습층 시스템은 산질화규소(silicon oxinitride) 및 아화학량론적 산화규소(substoichiometric silicon oxide)로 이루어진 군에서 선택되어진 하나 이상의 물질을 포함하는 단계를 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 반투과성층 시스템, 하나 이상의 상기 반사층 시스템, 및 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템을 진공 코팅 방법에 의하여 적용하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 진공 코팅 방법은 동일 유형의 진공 코팅 방법인 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 반투과성층 시스템, 하나 이상의 상기 반사층 시스템, 및 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템을 스퍼터링에 의하여 적층하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 반사층 시스템 및 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템을 진공 코팅 방법에 의하여 적용하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 상기 진공 코팅 방법은 동일 유형의 진공 코팅 방법인 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 반사층 시스템 및 하나 이상의 방습층 시스템을 스퍼터링에 의하여 증착하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 방습층 시스템을 스퍼터링에 의하여 증착하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템의 물질의 굴절율을 최대로 상기 제1투명기판의 물질의 굴절율과 동일하게 선택하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템의 굴절율(n)이 1.47≤n≤1.7 이 되도록 선택하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템의 굴절율(n)이 1.5≤n≤1.6 이 되도록 선택하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템의 굴절율(n)이 1.57 이하가 되도록 선택하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템의 흡광상수 (k)가 10-4≤k≤5 x 10-3 이 되도록 선택하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템의 흡광상수 (k)가 10-3 이하가 되도록 선택하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템을 규소 타깃의 반응성 스퍼터링에 의하여 증착하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 반응성 스퍼터링은 산소 함유 분위기, 질소 함유 분위기 또는 산소 및 질소 함유 분위기에서 수행되는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 상기 방습층 시스템을 10nm 에서 50nm 사이의 두께로 증착하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템은 아화학량론적 산화규소를 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 상기 방습층 시스템은 산질화규소를 포함하는 하이브리드 디스크의 제조방법.
- 주어진 대역에서 투명한 제1기판(1), 상기 제1기판 상에 형성되고 주어진 대역에서 반투과성인 반투과성층 시스템(2), 상기 반투과성층 시스템 상에 형성되고 주어진 대역에서 투명한 제2기판(5), 상기 제2기판 상에 형성된 반사층 시스템(6)을 구비하는 하이브리드 디스크에 있어서, 상기 제1기판과 주위 대기 사이에, 산질화규소 및 아화학량론적 산화규소로 이루어진 군에서 선택되어지는 하나 이상의 물질을 포함하는 방습층 시스템이 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 디스크.
