Claims (27)
- 자동차량으로부터 나오는 배기 가스 유동에 있는 입자의 응집 및 산화를 위한 입자 트랩으로서,상기 입자 트랩(11)은 거의 직선형이고 서로 평행한 다수의 유동 통로(2)를 가지며, 그리고 구조물(3)을 가지는 통로 벽(13)을 가지는 입자 트랩에 있어서,상기 구조물(3)은 상기 유체 유동에 소용돌이 유동, 고요 유동 및/또는 정지 영역(5)을 발생시키며 그럼에도 불구하고 여전히 상기 입자 트랩(11)이 개방되는 것을 보장하며,상기 유동 통로(2)의 적어도 일부는, 상기 통로 벽(13)의 적어도 부분 영역에 높은 열 용량을 가져, 유체 온도가 상승될 때, 상기 유체 유동에 존재하는 입자에 대한 열영동 현상의 효과가 상기 부분 영역에서 증가되는 상태로 나타나는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 입자 트랩(11)은 층 구조물인 벌집체(1)의 형태로 설계되는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 입자 트랩(11)은 적어도 금속층(4, 6)의 부분으로 이루어지며, 이러한 층들은 0.02 내지 0.2 mm의 포일 두께를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 층(4, 6)은 적어도 부분적으로 코팅되지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 입자 트랩(11)은 200 내지 400 cpsi(제곱 인치당 셀)의 셀 밀도를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 통로 벽(13)이 일정한 포일 두께를 가진 금속 포일로 형성되는데, 높은 열 용량을 가진 상기 통로 벽(13)의 부분 영역에 있는 포일 두께가 0.65와 0.11 mm 사이의 포일 두께에 이르는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,하나의 제 1 층(6)과 주름층(4)일 수 있는 하나 이상의 추가적인 포일로 제조되거나 평평한 층(6)으로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 입자 트랩(11)을 통하여 매체가 반지름 방향으로 유동할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,원뿔형 유동 통로(2)를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,입자 트랩(11) 및/또는 촉매 변환기(8)인 다수의 요소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상이한 열 용량을 가지는 두 개 이상의 요소를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는,입자 트랩.
