Claims (8)
- 스위칭소자를 가지는 매트릭스 배열의 화소를 구비한 제 1 기판과, 상기 제 1 기판에 대향합착된 제 2 기판과, 상기 제 1 ,제 2 기판 사이에 삽입된 액정을 포함하여, 한 프레임 내에서 상기 각 화소별로 데이터전압 및 보상전압을 인가함으로써 액정을 선택적으로 구동하는 액정표시소자의 구동방법에 있어서,상기 보상전압은 기준전압을 기준으로 상기 데이터전압과 반대의 극성을 가짐으로 DC전압에 의한 열화를 방지하고 상기 데이터전압의 인가 시간은 상기 보상전압의 인가 시간보다 길게 설정하며 한 프레임 내에서 각 화소별로 상기 데이터 전압의 시간에 대한 적분치와 보상전압의 시간에 대한 적분치는 서로 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시소자의 구동방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 데이터전압 인가시, 초기배향된 액정의 배열상태가 변화하여 투과율이 변화하고, 상기 보상전압 인가시, 액정의 배열상태가 초기배향 상태에서 변화하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시소자의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기준전압은 일정한 값으로 고정되고, 상기 보상전압은 데이터전압의 진폭보다 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시소자의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기준전압은 상기 데이터전압 인가후 보상전압이 인가되는 동안, 상기 데이터전압과 같은 극성을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시소자의 구동방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 액정은 강유전성 액정 또는 반강유전성 액정인 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시소자의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭소자는 박막트랜지스터임을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시소자의 구동방법.
