Claims (24)
- 무선 네트워크에서 동작하는 송수신기를 포함하는 이동국(MS)에 통합되는 전세계 측위 시스템(GPS) 수신기에서 코드 시프트 탐색을 감소시키는 방법에 있어서:MS 및 상기 MS를 서비스하는 기지국 송수신기 시스템(BTS) 사이의 라운드 트립 전파 지연을 나타내는 시간 주기를 결정하는 단계; 및상기 시간 주기를 사용하여 MS에서의 코드 시프트 불확실성의 경계를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 시간 주기는 BTS로부터 MS로 통신되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 시간 주기는 BTS 및 MS 사이의 심볼 전송률의 소수부를 식별하는 타이밍 전진 값인 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 BTS는 자신의 위치 정보를 상기 MS에 통신하고, 상기 MS는 위성 위치를 나타내는 정보를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 BTS는 관측 가능한 위성 위치를 나타내는 정보를 MS에 통신하고, 상기 정보는 상기 경계를 계산하는데 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.

- 무선 네트워크에서 동작하는 송수신기를 포함하는 이동국(MS)에 통합되는 전세계 측위 시스템(GPS) 수신기에서 코드 시프트 탐색을 감소시키는 방법에 있어서:GPS 에퍽 시간에 상응하는 선택 시간에서 MS를 서비스하는 기지국 송수신기 시스템(BTS)의 전송 공중 인터페이스의 상태를 결정하는 단계;MS에 전송 공중 인터페이스의 상태를 전송하는 단계; 및전송된 전송 공중 인터페이스의 상태를 사용하여 MS에서 GPS 에퍽의 시간을 도출하는 단계를 포함하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 MS는 상기 도출 단계 이전에 BTS와 주파수를 동기시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 MS는 상기 도출 단계 이전에 상기 BTS 공중 인터페이스 상태와 동기되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 MS 및 상기 BTS 사이의 라운드 트립 전파 지연을 나타내는 시간 주기를 결정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 시간 주기는 GPS 에퍽의 시간을 도출하는 상기 도출 단계에서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 무선 네트워크는 GSM 시스템이고, 상기 상태는 선택 시간에서 비트, 타임 슬롯 및 프레임을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에서의 코드 시프트 탐색 감소 방법.
- 무선 네트워크에서 동작하는 송수신기 및 GPS 수신기를 포함하는 이동국(MS)의 시간 축을 정렬시키는 시스템에 있어서,상기 GPS 수신기에 대한 에퍽 타이밍 이벤트를 발생시키는 수치 제어 발진기(NCO);송수신기, 수신기 및 NCO에 연결된 프로세서를 포함하고,상기 프로세서는 GPS 에퍽 시간에 상응하는 선택 시간에서 MS를 서비스하는 기지국 송수신기 시스템(BTS)의 전송 공중 인터페이스의 상태를 수신기로부터 수신하고, 전송된 전송 공중 인터페이스의 상태를 사용하여 MS에서 GPS 에퍽의 시간을 도출하고, GPS 에퍽의 도출된 시간에 응답하여 NCO의 동작을 제어하는 무선 네트워크 프로세싱 수단, 및 GPS 수신기에 의해 수신된 GPS 신호 상의 코드 시프트 탐색을 실행하도록 NCO로부터의 에퍽 타이밍 이벤트를 사용하는 GPS 프로세싱 수단을 포함하는 MS의 시간 축 정렬 시스템.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 무선 네트워크 프로세싱 수단은 GPS 에퍽의 시간을 도출하기 전에 BTS와 주파수를 동기시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 MS의 시간 축 정렬 시스템.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 무선 네트워크 프로세싱 수단은 GPS 에퍽의 시간을 도출하기 전에 BTS 공중 인터페이스 상태와 동기화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MS의 시간 축 정렬 시스템.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 송수신기는 MS 및 BTS 사이의 라운드 트립 전파 지연을 나타내는 데이터를 수신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MS의 시간 축 정렬 시스템.
- 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 시간 주기는 GPS 에퍽의 시간을 도출하는데 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 MS의 시간 축 정렬 시스템.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 무선 네트워크는 시분할 다중 액세스 시스템이고, 상기 상태는 선택 시간에서 비트, 타임슬롯 및 프레임을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 MS의 시간 축 정렬 시스템.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,NCO에 대한 클록 신호를 발생시키는 위상 동기 루프(phase-locked loop)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MS의 시간 축 정렬 시스템.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 GPS 프로세싱 수단은 위치 계산 기능을 수행하고, NCO를 더욱 제어하기 위해 GPS 에퍽 시간에서의 오프셋을 결정하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MS의 시간 축 정렬 시스템.
