Abstract

"PROCESSO DE REDUçãO DE BUSCAS DE MUDANçA DE CóDIGO EM UM RECEPTOR DE SISTEMA DE POSICIONAMENTO GLOBAL E SISTEMA PARA O ALINHAMENTO DA BASE DE TEMPO DE UMA ESTAçãO MóVEL". Um processo e sistema aperfeiçoa a aquisição de sinal em um receptor do Sistema de Posicionamento Global (GPS) fornecendo informação para focalizar a busca de aquisição no receptor. Em particular, a invenção refere-se ao caso no qual um receptor GPS é integrado a um transceptor que é capaz de comunicar com uma rede celular ou GPS através da interface aérea particular dessa rede. A informação padrão fornecida pela rede é utilizada para auxiliar o receptor GPS integrado e aperfeiçoar sua sensibilidade e latência. O resultado desse aperfeiçoamento é que o receptor pode adquirir rapidamente os satélites e computar sua posição nos ambientes onde receptores GPS isolados convencionais não podem. Esse desempenho somado é muito importante para o aplicativo de localização de emergência, visto que o usuário pode ter altas expectativas com relação à segurança pessoal em várias situações. Adicionalmente, a aquisição rápida reduz o consumo de energia, o que é muito importante para dispositivos energizados por bateria utilizando tais tecnologias combinadas de GPS e celular.
