Claims (3)
- 주사 신호를 공급하는 복수의 로우 전극과, 구동 신호를 공급하는 복수의 컬럼 전극이 상호 교차한 개소에 표시 화소가 형성되고, 상기 표시 화소의 상기 컬럼 전극 및 상기 로우 전극 간에 각 색을 나타내는 발광 재료로 이루어지는 발광층을 포함한 일렉트로 루미네센스 소자를, 상기 로우 전극을 순차 선택하여 발광시키는 일렉트로 루미네센스 표시 장치의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 각 색의 발광 재료를 배치한 각 표시 화소 중, 발광 효율이 낮은 색의 발광 재료를 배치한 표시 화소에 상기 주사 신호를 공급하는 로우 전극에, 상기 표시 화소의 발광 재료의 다른 색의 발광 효율과의 비율에 따른 기간에 연속하여 상기 선택 신호를 공급함과 함께, 상기 발광 효율이 낮은 발광 재료를 배치한 표시 화소에 상기 구동 신호를 공급하는 컬럼 전극에, 상기 표시 화소의 발광 재료의 다른 색의 발광 효율과의 비율에 따른 기간 상기 구동 신호를 공급하여 발광 재료를 발광시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 일렉트로 루미네센스 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 각 색의 표시 화소는, 상기 발광층의 발광 효율이 가장 높은 색의 제1 표시 화소로부터 순차적으로 낮은 색의 제2 및 제3 표시 화소로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 일렉트로 루미네센스 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서상기 제1 표시 화소의 발광 재료는 녹색의 발광 재료이고, 상기 제2 및 제3 표시 화소의 발광 재료는 각각 적색 및 청색인 것을 특징으로 하는 일렉트로 루미네센스 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
