Abstract
일반식 Ⅰ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체
여기서 R은 포밀기, CO2H기 또는 COOH로 가수 분해될 수 있는 라디칼이며, 나머지 치환기들은 다음과 같은 의미를 갖는다:
R2및 R3는 수소, C1-C4-알킬, C1-C4-할로알킬, C1-C4-알콕시, C1-C4-할로알콕시 또는 C1-C4-알킬티오이고,
X는 질소 또는 CR13, 여기에서 R13은 수소이거나 R3와 함께 각 경우 마다 하나의 메틸렌기가 산소로 치환된 3 내지 4원 알킬렌 또는 알케닐렌 쇄를 형성하며;
R4는 하나 내지 세개의 질소 원자 및/또는 하나의 황 또는 산소 원자를 갖는, 치환되었거나 치환되지 아니한, 5원 또는 6원의 이종방향족 고리이며;

Description
본 발명의 다음 일반식 Ⅰ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체에 관한 것이다.
여기서 R은 포밀기, CO2H기 또는 COOH로 가수 분해될 수 있는 라디칼이며, 나머지 치환기들은 다음과 같은 의미를 갖는다:
R2는 할로겐, C1-C4-알킬, C1-C4-할로알킬, C1-C4-알콕시, C1-C4-할로알콕시 또는 C1-C4-알킬티오이고;
X는 질소 또는 CR13, 여기에서 R13은 수소이거나 R3와 함께 각 경우 마다 하나의 메틸렌기가 산소로 치환된 3 내지 4원 알킬렌 또는 알케닐렌 쇄를 형성하며;
R3는 할로겐, C1-C4-알킬, C1-C4-할로알킬, C1-C4-알콕시, C1-C4-할로알콕시,C1-C4-알킬티오, 또는 R3는 상기에서 언급한 R13과 연결되어 5 또는 6원환을 형성하고;

유사한 카복실산 유도체, 그들 중에서도 3-할로 유도체들이, 예를 들면 유럽 특허 출원 공개 제347 811, 400 741, 409 368, 481 512, 517 215호 및 선행 독일 특허 출원 제P 41 42 570호(유럽 특허 출원 공개 제548 710호)에 기재되어 있으나, 그들 중 어느것도 3-위치에 치환된 헤테로아릴 라디칼을 갖지 아니한다.
이들 공지의 화합물들의 생물학적 활성 및 선택성이 항상 만족스러운 것은 아니다.
본 발명의 목적은 개선된 농작물에 대한 선택성 및(또는) 보다 우수한 제초제 또는 생물조절제 활성을 갖는 화합물을 제공하고자 함이다. 본 발명자들은 뛰어난 제초제 및 식물 성장 조절제 성질을 갖는, 서두에서 정의한 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체에 의해서 이러한 목적을 달성할 수 있음을 발견하였다.
본 발명에 따른 화합물은, 알데히드 또는 케톤 Ⅱ 또는 올레핀 Ⅲ로부터 공지의 방법, 예를 들면 제이. 마치(J. March)의 Advanced Organic Chemistry, 제2판(1983년도)의 862페이지와 750페이지에 기재된 방법에 의해 제조되는 에폭사이드 Ⅳ를 출발 물질로하여 합성된다.
화학식 Ⅵ의 3-할로-헤트아릴카복실산 유도체는 화학식 IV의 에폭사이드(예를 들면 R이 COOR9임)를 화학식 V의 할로겐 유도체 MZ (Z는 특허 청구 범위 제1항에 기재한 의미를 갖고 M은 수소, 알칼리 금속 양이온 또는 알칼리 토금속 양이온의등가물임)와 반응시켜 제조될 수 있다.
이 반응은 또한 희석제 존재하에서도 수행될 수 있다. 사용되는 반응물에 대해 불활성인 모든 용매들이 이 목적을 위해 사용될 수 있다.
그러한 용매나 희석제들의 예는 물, 및 모두가 염소화 된 것일 수 있는 헥산, 시클로헥산, 석유 에테르, 리그로인, 벤젠, 톨루엔, 크실렌, 메틸렌 클로라이드, 클로로포름, 사염화탄소, 에틸렌 클로라이드, 트리클로로에틸렌과 같은 지방족, 지환족 및 방향족 탄화 수소, 그리고 예를 들면 디이소프로필 에테르, 디부틸 에테르, 프로필렌옥사이드, 디옥산 및 테트라히드로푸란과 같은 에테르, 그리고 예를 들면 아세톤, 메틸에틸케톤, 메틸이소프로필케톤 및 메틸이소부틸 케톤과 같은 케톤, 그리고 예를 들면 아세토니트릴 및 프로피온니트릴과 같은 니트릴, 그리고 예를 들면, 메탄올, 에탄올, 이소프로판올, 부탄올 및 에틸렌 글리콜과 같은 알콜, 그리고 예를 들면, 에틸 아세테이트 및 아밀 아세테이트와 같은 에스테르, 그리고 예를 들면 디메틸포름아미드 및 디메틸아세트아미드와 같은 산 아미드, 그리고 예를 들면, 디메틸술폭사이드 및 술폰과 같은 술폭사이드 및 술폰, 그리고 예를 들면 피리딘과 같은 염기들이다.
이 반응은 0 ℃ 내지 용매나 용매 혼합물의 비등점 내에서 진행되는 것이 바람직하다.
반응 촉매를 사용하는 것이 유리할 수도 있다. 적절한 촉매는 유기산 및 무기산, 그리고 또한 루이스산이다. 그들중에서, 특히 예를 들면 황산, 염산, 삼불화 초산, 보론 트리플로라이드 에테레이트 및 티타늄(Ⅳ) 할라이드이다.
Y가 산소이고 나머지 치환체들이 일반식 Ⅰ에서 주어진 의미를 갖는, 본 발명에 따른 화합물을, 예를 들면 일반식 Ⅵ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체를 일반식 Ⅶ의 화합물과 반응시키는 방법으로 제조할 수 있다.
여기에서, R14는 할로겐 또는 R15SO2-이며, R15는 C1-C4-알킬, C1-C4-할로 알킬 또는 페닐이다. 이 반응은 실온 내지 용매의 비등점 사이에서, 적절한 염기, 즉 화합물 Ⅵ에서 수소 이온을 떼어낼 수 있는 염기를 첨가한 상기에서 언급했던 불활성 희석제들중의 어느 하나 내에서 진행되는 것이 바람직하다.
그 염기는, 나트륨하이드라이드, 칼륨하이드라이드 또는 칼슘하이드라이드와 같은 알칼리 금속 하이드라이드 또는 알칼리 토금속 하이드라이드 그리고 나트륨 카보네이트, 칼륨 카보네이트와 같은 알칼리 금속 카보네이트등의 카보네이트 그리고 수산화나트륨, 수산화칼륨과 같은 알칼리 금속 수산화물 그리고 부틸리튬과 같은 유기 금속 화합물, 그리고 리튬 디이소프로필아미드와 같은 알칼리 금속 아미드일 수 있다.
Y가 황이고 나머지 치환체들이 일반식 Ⅰ에 대해 기재된 의미를 갖는 본 발명에 따른 화합물은 예를 들면, 일반식 Ⅵ의 화합물로부터 공지의 방법으로 얻어질 수 있는 일반식 Ⅷ(치환체는 상기의 의미를 가짐)의
3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실간 유도체를, R2, R3및 X가 일반식 Ⅰ에서 주어진 의미를 갖는 일반식 Ⅸ의 화합물과
반응시키는 방법으로 제조할 수 있다. 실온 내지 용매의 비등점 온도에서 중간체 Ⅸ로부터 수소 이온을 떼어낼 수 있는 염기와 같은 적절한 염기를 첨가함으로써, 상기에서 언급한 불활성 희석제들중의 하나 내에서 이 반응이 진행되는 것이 바람직하다.
상기에서 언급한 염기들 이외에도, 트리에틸아민, 피리딘, 이미다졸 또는 디아자비시클로운데센과 같은 유기 염기도 사용될 수 있다.
또한, 상응하는 카르복실산, 즉 R이 COOH인 일반석 Ⅰ의 화합물을 출발 물질로 하여 이들을 우선 통상적인 방법으로 할라이드, 무수물 또는 이미다졸라이드와 같은 활성화된 형태로 전환시킨 뒤, 이 활성화된 물질을 적당한 히드록실 화합물인 HOR9와 반응시킴으로써 일반식 Ⅰ의 화합물을 제조할 수도 있다. 이 반응은 통상적인 용매내에서 진행될 수 있으며, 상기에서 언급한 바와 같은 적절한 염기의 존재에 의해 유리한 영향을 받는다. 예를 들면 카복실산을 카보디이미드와 같은 탈수제 존재하에 히드록실 화합물과 반응토록하여 이들 두 단계을 단순화시킬 수도 있다.
또한, 예를 들면 일반식 Ⅰ에서 R이 COR1기이고, R1이 OM (여기서, M이 예를 들면 알칼리 금속 양이온 또는 이와 균등한 알칼리 토금속 양이온일 수 있음)인 일반식 Ⅰ의 화합물과 같은 상응하는 카복실산 염으로부터 출발하여 일반식 Ⅰ의 화합물을 제조할 수도 있다. 이들 염을, 화학식 R1-A가 예를 들면 염소, 브롬, 요오드와 같은 할로겐이거나, 또는 할로겐, 알킬 또는 할로알킬로 치환 또는 비치환된 아릴- 또는 알킬술포닐 (예: 톨루엔 술포닐 또는 메틸술포닐)이거나, 또는 기타 다른 대등한 통상적인 핵배척(neucleofugic) 이탈기인 일반식 R1-A의 여러가지 화합물과 반응시킬 수 있다. 이미 알려져 있지는 아니한 반응성 치환체 A를 갖는 일반식 R1-A의 화합들은 이 기술 분야에 알려져 있는 통상적인 방법으로 용이하게 제조될 수 있다. 이 반응은 통상적인 용매내에서 진행될 수 있고, 상기에서 언급한 적절한 염기들의 존재하에서 유리하게 진행된다.
일반식 Ⅰ의 라디칼 R은 다양하게 변할 수 있다. 예를 들면, R은 아래의 기이다.

생물학적 활성의 측면에서, 바람직한 일반식 Ⅰ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체는 나머지 치환체들이 다음과 같은 의미를 갖는 것들이다.

화합물 Ⅰ, 또는 그들을 함유하는 제초제 조성물 그리고 환경 문제를 일으키지 아니하는 그들의 염, 예를 들면 알칼리 금속 및 알칼리 토금속 염은, 농작물에는 피해를 주지 아니하면서 면화, 대두, 옥수수, 벼, 밀과 같은 농작물 내에 있는 광엽 잡초 및 벼과 잡초를 매우 잘 억제하는 낮은 시용율에서도 특히 현저한 효과를 갖고 있다. 그들은, 예를 들면 바로 살포 가능한 용액제, 분말제, 현탁액제, 고농도의 수성, 또는 오일상 또는 기타 다른 현탁액 또는 분산액제, 유제, 오일 분산액제, 페이스트제, 분진제, 산포제 및 입제의 형태로 분무, 살포, 산포 또는 살수를 통해 사용할 수 있다. 사용 형태는 의도하는 목적에 따라 달라지나, 어떤 경우에서 든지, 본 발명에 따른 활성 성분의 가능한한 가장 미세한 분산을 보장하는 것들이라야 한다.
화합물 Ⅰ은 일반적으로 바로 분무가능한 용액제, 유제, 페이스트제 또는 오일 분산액제로 만드는 것이 적절하다. 적당한 불활성 첨가제들은, 그 중에서도, 등유 또는 디젤유 등의 중간 내지 고비점의 광유 분획물, 더 나아가 콜타르유 및 식물성 또는 동물성유, 톨루엔, 크실렌, 파라핀, 테트라히드로나프탈렌, 알킬화된 나프탈렌, 또는 그들의 유도체, 메탄올, 에탄올, 프로판올, 부탄올, 시클로헥산올, 시클로헥사논, 클로로벤젠, 이소포론, 또는 N,N-디메틸포름아미드, 디메틸술폭사이드, N-메틸피롤리돈 또는 물과 같은 극성이 강한 용매들이다.
농축 유제, 분산액제, 페이스트, 습윤성 분말제 또는 수분산성 입제에 물을 첨가하여 수성 사용 형태로 만들 수 있다. 페이스트, 오일 분산제 또는 유제를 제조하기 위해서, 물질 그 자체 또는 용매나 오일에 분산시킨 것을, 습윤제, 정착제(tackifier), 분산제 또는 유화제를 사용하여 물 속에서 균질화시킨다. 별법으로서, 활성 성분, 습윤제, 정착제, 분산제 또는 유화제, 필요에 따라서는 용매 또는 오일로 이루어진, 물로 희석시키기에 적절한 농축물을 만들 수도 있다.
적절한 계면활성제는 리그노술폰산, 페놀술폰산, 나프탈렌술폰산 및 디부틸나프탈렌술폰산 등의 방향족 술폰산 및 지방산의 알킬 금속염, 알킬리토금속염 또는 암모늄염, 알킬- 및 알킬아릴술폰산염, 알킬 황산염, 라우릴 에테르황산염, 지방 알콜 황산염 그리고 또한 황산화된 헥사-, 헵타- 및 옥타데칸올의 염, 그리고 또한, 지방알콜 글리콜 에테르의 염, 술폰화된 나프탈렌 및 이들의 유도체와 포름알데히드간의 축합물, 나프탈렌 또는 나프탈렌술폰산과 페닐 및 포름알데히드간의 축합물, 폴리옥시에틸렌 옥틸 페놀 에테르, 에톡시화된 이소옥틸페놀, 옥틸페놀 또는 노닐페놀, 알킬페닐 또는 트리부틸페닐 폴리글리콜 에테르, 알킬아릴 폴리에테르 알콜, 이소트리데실 알콜, 지방 알콜/에틸렌 옥사이드 축합물, 에톡시화된 피마자유, 폴리옥시에틸렌 알킬에테르 또는 폴리옥시프로필렌 알킬 에테르, 라우릴알콜 폴리글리콜 에테르아세테이트, 솔비톨 에스테르, 리그닌-술파이트 폐액 또는 메틸셀룰로스이다. 분말, 산포제(spreading material) 및 분진제는 활성 성분을 고체 담체와 함게 혼합하거나 함께 분쇄하여 제조할 수 있다.
입제, 예를 들면 피복된 입제, 함침시킨 입제, 그리고 균질 입제는 활성 성분을 고체 담체에 결합시켜 제조할 수 있다. 고체 담체는 규산, 실리카 겔, 실리케이트, 탈크, 카올린, 석회석, 석회, 쵸크, 교회점토, 로황토, 점토, 백운석, 토류 규조토, 황산칼슘, 황산마그네늄, 산화 마그네슘, 분쇄한 합성물질, 황산 암모늄, 인산 암모늄, 질산 알루미늄, 우레아와 같은 비료, 곡분, 복피분, 목분, 견과껍질 가루 등의 식물성 산물, 셀룰로스 분말, 또는 그의 고체 담체들이다.
일반적으로, 제제(formulations)는 활성 성분을 0.01 내지 95 wt%, 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 90 wt%로 함유한다. 활성 성분은 90 내지 100 %, 바람직하게는 95 내지 100 %(NMR 스펙트럼에 따른 것)의 순도의 것이 사용된다.
본 발명에 따른 화합물 Ⅰ은 예를 들면 다음과 같이 제제화될 수 있다;
Ⅰ. 화합물(번호 2.17) 20 중량부를, 알킬화 벤질 80 중량부와 1 몰의 올레산 N-모노에탄올아미드 8 내지 10 몰의 에틸렌옥사이드 부가물 10 중량부, 칼슘 도데실벤젠술포네이트 5 중량부와 40 몰 에틸렌옥사이드와 1 몰 피마자유의 부가물 5 중량부로 이루어진 혼합물에 녹였다. 이 용액을 100,000 중량부의 물에 쏟아붓고 미세하게 분산시켜 0.02 wt%의 활성 성분을 함유하는 수성 분산액을 제조하였다.
Ⅱ. 번호 2.1의 화합물을 20 중량부를 시클로헥사논 40 중량부, 이소부탄올 30 중량부, 7 몰 에틸렌옥사이드와 1 몰 이소옥틸페놀의 부가물 20 중량부 그리고 40 몰 에틸렌옥사이드와 1 몰의 피마자유 부가물 10 중량부로 이루어진 혼합물에 용해시켰다. 이 용액을 100,000 중량부의 물에 쏟아붓고 미세하게 분산시켜 0.02 wt%의 활성 성분을 함유하는 수성 분산액을 제조하였다.
Ⅲ. 활성 성분(번호 2.17) 20 중량부를, 시클로헥사논 25 중량부와 비등점이 210 내지 280 ℃인 광유 분획물 65 중량부 및 40 몰 에틸렌옥사이드와 1 몰 피마자유의 부가물 10 중량부로 이루어진 혼합물에 녹였다. 이 용액을 100,000 중량부의 물에 쏟아붓고 미세하게 분산시켜 0.02 wt%의 활성 성분을 함유하는 수성 분산액을 제조하였다.
Ⅳ. 번호 2.2의 활성 성분 20 중량부를 나트륨 디이소부틸나프탈렌-α-술포네이트 3 중량부, 술파이트 폐액에서 얻은 나트륨 리그노술포네이트 17 중량부와 미분화시키니 실리카겔 분말 60 중량부와 완전히 섞어주고 이 혼합물을 햄머 분쇄기로 갈았다. 20,000 중량부의 물에 미세하게 분산시켜, 0.1 wt%의 활성 성분을 함유하는 분무 혼합액을 제조하였다.
V. 번호 2.17의 활성 성분 3 중량부를, 미분 카올린 97 중량부와 혼합하였다. 이렇게하여 3 wt%의 활성 성분을 함유하는 분진제를 만들었다.
Ⅵ. 번호 2.17의 활성 성분 20 중량부를, 2 중량부의 칼슘 도데실벤젠술포네이트, 8 중량부의 지방 알콜 폴리글리콜 에테르, 2 중량부의 페놀/우레아/포름알페히드 축합물의 나트륨 염, 68 중량부의 파라핀 광유와 완전히 섞는다. 이렇게 하여안정한 오일계 분산물을 얻었다.
발아 전 후에 살포가 가능하다. 어떤 농작물이 활성 성분에 대한 내성이 작을 경우 제초제 조성물을 분무 장비를 사용하여, 나토양(naked soil) 표면 또는 하부에서 자라나는 불필요한 식물의 잎파리에 활성 성분이 살포되나, 민감성 농작물의 잎파리에 가능한 한 덜 접촉할 수 있도록 하여주는 방법으로(후방 직중식, 레이 바이(lay-by)) 제초제 조성물을 분무시켜 주는 살포 방법이 사용될 수도 있다. 활성성분의 시용율은, 목표로 하는 대상, 계절, 목표 작물 및 생육 단계에 따라 0.001 내지 5 kg/ha, 바람직하게는 0.01 내지 2 kg/ha이다.
살포 방법의 다양성을 고려하여, 본 발명에 따른 화합물 또는 그들을 함유하는 조성물 또한 바람직하지 못한 식물을 제거하기 위해 수만가지의 기타 다른 농작물에도 사용될 수 있는 바, 예를 들면 다음과 같다:
양파(Allium cepa), 파인애플(Comosus), 땅콩(Arachis hypogaea), 아스파라가스(Asparagus officinalis), 사탕수수(Beta vulgaris spp. altissima), 사료용수수( Beta vulgaris spp. rapa), 평지의씨(Brassica napus var. napus), 스웨덴 순무(Brassica napus var napobrassica), 브라시카 라파 브이에이알. 실베스트리스 (Brassica rapa var. silvestris), 차(Camellia sinensis), 이꽃(Carthamus tinctorius), 북미산 호두나무(Carya illinoinensis), 레몬(Citrus limon), 오렌지 나무(Citrus sinensis), 커피 나무(Coffea arabica(Coffea canephora, Coffea liberica)), 오이(Cucumis sativus), 버뮤다풀(Cynodon dactylon), 당근(Daucus carota), 기름 야자수(Elais guineensis), 딸기(Fragaria vesca), 대두(Glycinemax), 목화(Gossypium hirsutum, Gossypium arboreum, Gossypium herbaceum, Gossypium vitifolium), 해바라기(Helianthus annuus), 고무나무(Hevea brasiliensis), 보리(Hordeum vulgare), 호프(Humulus lupulus), 감자(Ipomoea batatas), 호두나무(Juglans regia), 편두(Lens culinaris), 아마(Linum usitatissimum), 토마토(Lycopersicon lycopersicum), 사과나무(Malus spp.), 카사버(Manihot esculenta), 자주개자리(Medicage sativa), 바나나(Musa spp.), 담배(Nicotiana tabacum(n. rustica)), 올리브 나무(Olea europaea), 벼(Oryza sativa), 리마콩(Phaseolus lunatus), 스냅콩, 녹색콩, 건조콩(Phaseolus vulgaris), 노르우에 가준비나무(Picea abies), 소나무(Pinus spp.), 영국 완두콩(Pisum sativum), 벗나무(Pruuus avium), 복숭아나무(Prunus persica), 배나무(Pyrus communis), 붉은 까치 밥나무(Ribes sylvestre), 피마자유나무(Ricinus communis), 사탕수수(Saccharum officinarum), 호밀(Secale cereale), 아이리쉬 감자(Solanum tuberosum), 수수(Sorghum bicolor(s. vulgare), 카카오나무(Theobroma cacao), 붉은 클로버(Trifolium pratense), 밀(Triticum aestivum), 밀(Triticum durum), 똑딱 콩(Vicia faba),포도(Vitis vinifera), 옥수수(Zea mays).
일반식 Ⅰ의 화합물은 다양한 방법으로 농작물의 모든 발육 단계에서 실제적으로 유효할 수 있으며, 따라서 성장 조절제로 사용된다.
식물 성장 조절제의 다양한 작용은 주로,
a) 식물의 종류 및 재배,
b) 식물의 생육 단계 및 계절에 관련있는 시용 시기,
c) 시용 위치 및 방법(예를 들면, 씨앗 처리, 토양 처리, 잎파리 시용 또는 나무 밑등에의 주입),
d) 온도, 강수량, 낮의 길이, 빛의 강도와 같은 기후적인 요소,
e) 토양의 구성(비료 투여를 포함),
f) 활성 성분의 사용 형태 또는 제제, 마지막으로
g) 시용된 활성 성분의 농도에
의존한다.
식물 재배, 농업 및 원예 분야에 있어서 일반식 Ⅰ의 화합물의 식물 성장 조절제로서의 여러가지 잠재적인 용도들 중의 일부를 열거하면 다음과 같다.
A. 본 발명에 따라 사용될 수 있는 화합물은, 특히 세로 성장을 감소시키는 결과를 초래하는 식물의 생장을 강하게 억제하는데 사용될 수 있다.
따라서, 처리된 식물은 저지된 생장에 의해, 또한 잎사귀의 색깔이 어두운 것으로 식별된다.
실무상 이 용도의 장점은 곡물, 호밀, 해바라기 및 대두와 같은 쓰러지기 쉬운 작물과 풀의 생육 강도를 감소시킨다는 점이다. 짧아지고 강해진 줄기 때문에 식물이 수확기전에 거친 기후 조건에서 쓰러질 (굽을) 위험이 감소되며 회피된다.
또 다른 중요한 측면은 이 성장 조절제를 목화에 있어서 세로 성장을 억제하고 성숙기를 변화시키는데 사용된다는 점이다. 이러한 점은 이들 중요한 농작물의 완전히 기계화된 추수를 가능케한다.
과일 나무나 기타 다른 나무에서, 성장 조절제를 사용함은 가지치기 비용을절감시켜 준다. 또한, 성장 조절제를 사용하여 과일 나무의 해걸이(biennial bearing)을 막아준다.
성장 조절제를 사용하여, 작물의 측면 생장을 억제하거나 증가시킬 수도 있다.
예를 들면, 담배와 같은 경우에 있어서 잎파리를 생장시키기 위해 측면에서의 새싹의 형성을 억제해야 하는 경우가 관련이 있다.

일반식 Ⅰ의 화합물은, 식물 신진대사에 참여하거나 무성 및(또는) 생식성 성장을 억제하거나 증진시킴으로써 더 많은 수확을 얻게할 수 있다.
C. 마지막으로, 식물 성장 조절제는 단계들의 진전을 앞당기거나 늦추고, 수확 전후에 작물의 수확된 부위의 성숙을 가속화하거나 지연시킬 수 있다.
경제적 이득의 측면은, 예를 들면 감귤, 올리브 또는 기타 다른 종류의 나무 및 사과나 배나무의 열매, 석과(stone fruit) 및 견과를 따는데 소요되는 노력을 감소시키거나 따는 시기를 집중화시켜서 가능하게 되는 추락의 용이함이다. 동일한 메커니즘, 즉 식물의 과실 또는 잎파리와 어린 가지 사이에 절단막의 형성을 증진시키는 것도, 예를 들면 목화와 같은 농작물의 탈엽(defoliage)을 잘 조절하는데 중요하다.
D. 또한, 성장 조절제는 식물의 수분 소모를 줄일 수 있도록 하여준다. 본 발명의 물질을 사용함으로써, 보다 경제적인 영농을 가능케하는 것으로서 관개(irrigation)의 강도를 줄일 수 있는데, 그 중에서도
- 기공의 개방도를 줄이고
- 더 두꺼운 외피와 표피를 형성시키며
- 뿌리의 토양 침투가 개선되고
- 보다 견실한 성장에 의해서 식물 위치의 미세 기후가 유리한 영향을 받기 때문이다.
화합물 Ⅰ은 보리, 오일시드 평지 및 밀과 같은 농작물의 줄기의 길이를 줄여주는데 특히 적합하다.
본 발명에 따라 사용되어야 하는 제제 Ⅰ의 활성 성분은 분무에 의해서 씨앗(씨앗 처리 제품의 형태로) 또는 토양, 예를 들면, 뿌리, 그리고 특히 바람직하게는, 잎파리를 통하여 농작물에 가해질 수 있다.
활성 성분의 시용율은, 식물이 이것에 매우 잘 견디기 때문에 중요하지 않다. 최적 시용율은 원하는 목적, 계절, 목표 작물 및 생육 단계에 따라 달라진다.
씨앗을 처리하는 경우에는, 씨앗 1 킬로그램 당 일반적으로 0.001 내지 50g, 바라직하게는 0.01 내지 10 g 의 활성 성분 양이 소요된다.
잎사귀 또는 토양에 가하는 경우에는, 0.001 내지 10 kg/ha, 바람직하게는 0.01 내지 3 kg/ha, 특히 0.01 내지 0.5 kg/ha의 비율이 일반적으로 충분한 것으로 간주된다.
활성 범위를 확장하고 상승 효과를 얻기 위해 일반식 Ⅰ의 화합물을 수많은 대표적인 제초제 종류 또는 성장 조절 활성 성분들과 혼합시킬 수 있고 함께 시용할 수 있다. 혼합물의 적절한 성분들의 예를 들면, 디아진, 4H-3,1-벤족사진 유도체, 벤조티아디아지논, 2,6-디니트로아닐린, N-페닐카바메이트, 티오카바메이트, 할로카복실산, 트리아진, 아미드, 우레아, 디페닐 에테르, 트리아지논, 우라실, 벤조푸란 유도체, 카르복실 또는 카비미노기 등이 2-위치에 부착된 시클로헥산-1,3-디온 유도체, 퀴놀린카복실산 유도체, 이미다졸리논, 술폰아미드, 술포닐우레아, 아릴옥시- 또는 헤테로아릴옥시 페녹시프로피온산 및 그들의 염, 에스테르 및 아미드 등이다.

합성 실시예
일반식 Ⅵ의 화합물의 합성
실시예 1
메틸 3-플루오로-3-(2-티에닐)-2-히드록시부티레이트
19.5 g(100 mmol)의 메밀 3-(2-티에닐)-2,3-에폭시부티레이트를 50 ml의 건조된 디클로로메탄에 용해시키고 이것을, 100 ml의 건조된 디클로로메탄에 100 ml의 불화 수소/피리딘 착물(70 % HF)을 용해시킨 용액에 적가하였다. 실온에서 1시간 경과한 뒤에, 반응 용액을 150 ml의 얼음물에 교반하여 섞었다. 중탄산염 용액과 물로 유기층을 세척하고 황산 마그네슘으로 건조시킨 뒤 농축시켰다. 소량의 에틸아세테이트를 첨가하여 잔류물을 석유 에테르로 재결정시켰다.
수율 : 17.2 g(79 %)
실시예 2
메틸 3-클로로-3-(3-피리딜)-2-히드록시부티레이트
0.8 g(20 mmol)의 LiCl을 100 ml의 무수 테트라히드로푸란(THF)에 녹이고 이용액을 -20 ℃로 냉각시키고, 20 ml의 티타늄 테트라클로라이드(디클로로메탄에 녹인 1M)을 적가하였다. -20 ℃에서 이 혼합물을 30분간 교반한 뒤, -78 ℃로 냉각시키고, 50 ml의 THF에 녹인 메틸 3-(3-피리딜)-2,3-에폭시부티레이트 3.8 g(20 mmol)을 적가하였다. 이 혼합물을 실온으로 상승시키고 6시간 동안 교반을 계속한 뒤, 용매를 증류 제거하였고, 잔류물을 에틸아세테이트와 물로 분배시켰다. 에틸 아세테이트를 사용하여 수상을 추출하고 합한 유기상을 황산나트륨으로 건조시키고, 농축시켰다. 잔류물을 n-헥산/에틸 아세테이트 혼합물을 사용하여 실리카켈상의 크로마토그래피로 추가로 정제하였다. 용매를 증류 제거한 뒤 2.9 g의 담황색 오일을 얻었다.
수율 : 63 %
표 1은 모든 화합물을 유사한 방법으로 제조하였다.

실시예 3
메틸 3-(2-티에닐)-3-플루오로-2-[(4,6-디메톡시피리미딘-2-일)옥시]부티레이트
2.2 g(10 mol)의 메틸 3-(2-티에닐)-3-플루오로-2-히드록시-부티레이트(화합물 1.1)를 40 ml의 디메틸포름아미드에 용해시키고 0.3 g(12 mmol)의 수소화나트륨을 첨가하였다. 이 혼합물을 1시간 동안 교반하고, 2.2 g(10 mmol)의4.6-디메톡시-2-메틸술포닐피리미딘을 첨가하였다. 이 혼합물을 실온에서 24시간 동안 교반하고 10 ml의 물을 사용하여 가수분해시킨 뒤, 초산을 사용하여 pH를 5로 맞추어주고 고진공하에서 용매를 증류제거하였다. 잔류물을 에틸 아세테이트에 녹이고 물로 세척한 뒤, 황산 나트륨으로 건조하고 용매를 증류제거하였다. 잔류물을 10 ml의 메틸 3급-부틸 에테르로 처리하고 생성된 침전물을 흡인 여과하였다. 이를 건조시켜 1.8 g의 백색 분말을 얻었다.
수율 : 61 % (부분입체이성질체 혼합물 1:1)
실시예 4
3-(2-티에닐)-3-플루오로-2-[(4,6-티메톡시피리미딘-2-일)옥시]-부틸산
0.9 g(3 mmol)의 메틸 3-(2-티에닐)-3-플루오로-2-(4,6-디메톡시피리미딘-2-일)옥시부티레이트(실시예 3의)를 20ml의 메탄올과 20 ml의 테트라히드로푸란에 용해시기고, 10 % 농도의 NaOH 용액 3.7 g을 첨가하였다. 이 혼합물을 60℃에서 6시간 동안 그리고 실온에서 12시간 동안 교반하였고, 용매를 진공하에 증류시켜 제거하고 잔류물을 100 ml의 물에 용해시켰다. 수상을 에틸 아세테이트를 사용하여 추출하고 뒤이어 묽은 염산을 사용하여 pH를 1 내지 2로 조정한 뒤 에틸아세테이트를 사용하여 추출하였다. 이 혼합물을 황산 마그네슘으로 건조하고 용매를 증류제거하였으며, 잔류물에 소량의 아세톤을 첨가하고 생성된 침전물을 흡인 여과하였다. 이를 건조시켜서 0.8 g의 백색 분말을 얻었다.
수율 : 89 % (부분입체이성질체 혼합물 3:2)
실시예 5
메틸 3-(2-티에닐)-3-플루오로-2-[(4,6-디메톡시피리미딘-2-일)-티오]부티레이트
5.5 g(25 mmol)의 메틸 3-(2-티에닐)-3-플루오로-2-히드록시부티레이트(화합물 1.1)를 50 ml의 디클로로메탄에 용해하고, 3 g의 (30 mmol)의 트리에틸아민을 첨가하였고, 3,2 g(28 mmol)의 메탄술포닐 클로라이드를 적가하면서 교반하였다. 이 혼합물을 실온에서 2시간 동안 교반하고, 물로 세척하고 황산마그네슘으로 건조시키고 진공하에서 농축시켰다. 이 잔류물을 디메틸포름아미드(DMF)에 용해시키고, 이것을 0 ℃에서, 100 ml의 DMF에 12.9 g(75 mmol)의 4,6-디메톡시피리미딘-2-티올과 8.4 g(100 mmol)의 탄산수소나트륨을 용해시킨 현탁액에 적가하였다. 이 혼합물을 실온에서 2시간 그리고 60℃에서 추가로 2시간 교반한 뒤, 이 혼합물을 1ℓ의 얼음물에 붓고, 형성된 침전물을 흡인 여과하였다. 이를 건조시켜 2.5 g의 백색 분말을 얻었다.
수율 : 31 %(부분입체이성질체 혼합물 1:1)

사용 실시예
일반식 Ⅰ의 3-(헤테로)아릴카복실산 유도체의 제초제 활성은 온실내의 실험에 의해 설명된다:
사용된 재배 용기는 하층토로서 약 3.0 %의 부식토를 갖는 양토질 모래(loamy Sand)를 담고 있는 플라스틱제 화분이었다. 시험 작물의 씨앗을 각 종류마다 별도로 파종하였다.
발아전의 처리의 경우에서는, 활성 성분을 물에 분산시키거나 유화시켜서 파종직후에 미세분산 노즐을 사용하여 살포한다. 용기에 약간의 물을 뿌려서 발아와 생육을 증진시키고, 이어서 식물이 뿌리를 내릴때까지 반투명 플라스틱 후드로 덮어준다. 이 커버는 이것이 활성 성분에 의해 악영향을 받지 아니하는 한, 시험 작물의 균일한 발아를 야기한다.
발아 후의 처리에 있어서는, 일단 시험 작물을 발육 상태에 따라 3 내지 15 cm의 키에 도달할 떼까지 성장시킨 뒤에야, 물에 분산시키거나 유화시킨 활성 성분을 살포한다.
이렇게 하기 위해서, 시험 작물은 동일한 용기에 직접 파종하여 자라게 하거나, 그들을 일단 별도로 발아시켜 자라게 하고 처리 수일전에 시험 용기로 이식한다.
종류에 따라, 작물을 10 내지 25 ℃ 또는 20 내지 35 ℃로 유지한다. 시험 기간은 2내지 4주간 이상이다. 이 기간 동안, 작물을 돌보아주고, 각각의 처리에 대한 그들의 반응을 평가한다.
0부터 100까지의 평가 범위를 적용하여 평가하였다. 100은 적어도 드러난 작물 부위의 완전한 손상 또는 작물이 전혀 자라지 아니함을 의미하며, 0은 정상적인 발육 또는 전혀 손상이 없음을 의미한다.
Claims (7)
- 다음 일반식 Ⅰ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체.여기서. R은 COOH로 가수 분해될 수 있는 라디칼이며,R2및 R3은 각각 C1-C4-알콕시이고,X는 CH이고,R4는 1 내지 3개의 질소 원자를 포함하는 6원의 헤테로방향족 고리이며,R5는 C1-C4-알킬이고,Y는 산소이고,Z는 할로겐이다.
- 제1항에 있어서, R이 다음의 기인 일반식 Ⅰ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체.여기서, R1은 라디칼 OR9(여기서, R9는 C1-C4-알킬기임)이다.
- 제1항에 있어서, R5가 메틸, R2및 R3가 각각 메톡시이고, Y, Z, R4는 제1항에서 주어진 의미를 갖는, 일반식 Ⅰ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체.
- 제 3항에 있어서, Z가 불소인, 일반식 Ⅰ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카르복실산 유도체.
- R, R4, R5및 Z가 제1항에서 주어진 의미를 갖는, 하기 일반식 Ⅵ의 할로-3-헤테로아릴카르복실산 유도체.
- 불활성 용매의 존재 또는 부재하에 및(또는) 적절한 촉매 존재하에, Z가 할로겐이고 M이 알칼리 금속 양이온, 알칼리 토금속 양이온의 등가물 또는 수소인, 하기 일반식 V의 화합물과,R, R4및 R5가 제1항에서 주어진 의미를 갖는 하기 일반식 Ⅳ의 에폭사이드를반응시키는 것을 포함하는 하기 일반식 Ⅵ의 3-헤테로아릴카복실산 유도체의 제조 방법.
- 염기 존재하의 불활성 용매내에서, 치환체들이 제1항에서 주어진 의미를 갖는 하기 일반식 Ⅵ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카르복실산 유도체와,R14가 할로겐 또는 R15SO2-이고, R15가 C1-C4-알킬, C1-C4-할로알킬 또는 페닐인 하기 일반식 Ⅶ의 화합물을 반응시키는 것을 포함하는,제1항의 일반식 Ⅰ의 3-할로-3-헤테로아릴카르복실산 유도체의 제조 방법.
