Claims (7)
- 내연기관의 실린더 헤드(13)의 아랫면과, 실린더(14)의 내벽 및 피스톤(31)의 꼭데기면에 의해 구획되는 연소실(16)과, 상기 연소실(16)에 접속하도록 상기 실린더 헤드(13) 내에 형성되어 상기 연소실(16)내에 유입되는 공기에 선회류를 생성시키는 흡기포트(17)와;상기 내연기관의 흡기포트(17)근방에 설치되어 상기 연소실(16)내에 직접 연료를 분사하는 분사밸브(21)와,상기 분사밸브(21)보다도 상기 연소실(16)의 중심측에 설치된 점화 플러그(22)와,상기 분사밸브(21) 및 점화 플러그(22)에 거의 대응하는 상기 피스톤(31)의 꼭데기면에 형성된 오목부(32)를 구비한 통내분사 엔진의 피스톤에 있어서,상기 오목부(32)는 상기 점화 플러그(22)의 거의 아랫쪽에 위치하는 제1곡면(32b)과, 다른 곡률로 구성된 상기 분사밸브(21)의 거의 아래쪽에 위치하는 제2 곡면(32a)에 의하여 형성되고,상기 제1 곡면(32b)의 곡률이 상기 제2 곡면(32a)의 곡률보다도 크게 설정되고,상기 제1 곡면(32b)과 상기 제2 곡면(32a)이 접속부(32c)에 의하여 매끄럽게 연속되고,상기 제1 곡면(32b) 및 상기 제2 곡면(32a)의 오목부 용적이 층상연소를 가능하게 하면서도 충분한 출력을 확보할 수 있도록 설정되어, 상기 분사밸브(21)로부터 상기 연소실(16)내에 분사된 연료분무가 상기 흡기포트(17)를 통하여 유입된 공기에 의해 생성된 선회류와 함께 상기 제1곡면(32b)에 의해 안내되어 상기 점화플러그(22)로 유동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사 엔진의 피스톤.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 오목부(32)는 피스톤의 측면에서 볼때 상기 점화 플러그(22)의 아래쪽에 대응하는 위치가, 상기 분사밸브(21)의 아래쪽에 대응하는 위치보다 위쪽에 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사 엔진의 피스톤.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 분사밸브(21)로부터 분사된 연료는 상기 오목부(32)의 상기 점화 플러그(22)의 아랫측에 대응하는 위치에서 피스톤(31)에 충돌하는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사 엔진의 피스톤.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 오목부(32)의 용적을 Va, 상기 피스톤(31)이 상사점위치에 있을때의 오목부 윗측에 형성되는 공간부 용적을 Vb, 상기 피스톤(31)이 상사점 위치에 있을때의 상기 오목부(32)를 제외한 상기 피스톤 꼭데기부의 위쪽에 형성되는 공간부 용적을 Vc라고할 때,공극 용적비 =(Va+Vb)/(Va+Vb+Vc)가 0.3∼0.7의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사 엔진의 피스톤.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 오목부(32)는, 상기 접속부(32c)를 경계로서 상기 점화 플러그측의 용적이 상기 분사밸브측의 용적보다도 작게 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사 엔진의 피스톤.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 오목부(32)는, 상기 피스톤의 평면에서 볼때, 상기 오목부(32)의 상기 점화플러그(22) 및 분사밸브(21)를 연결하는 방향과 직교하는 방향의 폭이, 상기 점화 플러그(22)의 아래쪽에 대응되는 위치로부터 상기 분사밸브(21)의 아래쪽에 대응하는 위치로 행하여 넓게 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사 엔진의 피스톤.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 오목부(32)는, 상기 피스톤의 평면에서 볼때, 상기 오목부(32)의 상기 점화 플러그측의 둘레 테두리부와 상기 분사밸브측의 둘레 테두리부가 매끄럽게 연속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 통내분사 엔진의 피스톤.
